All about Giselle!!!

Okay, so first my full name is Giselle, but everyone calls me Gigi. I’m sixteen years old and have been writing for ever. I’ve been horseback riding since age 4 and do competitive showjumping and equitation. I’m from an Iranian-American family, but am adopted so, I don’t really know what I am. My favorite actor is Ramin Karimloo, because of his angelic voice. #Angel of Music. With that being said, I am a lover of musicals. Les Mis, Moulin Rouge, Phantom/LND have to be my top three. My favorite version of Phantom of The Opera is the 25th Anniversary. My favorite show is Avatar The Last Airbender, and Azula is my favorite character followed by Sokka. 

One funny quirk about my writing is before I start writing, I will cast the book. So for my next post I’ll share who I cast as who. It helps me create a vision for the characters so I have something more to go off of than just my own imagination. For example, I cast Hades as Ramin Karimloo because I’ve seen him play The Phantom, and Hades being Ruler of the Underworld I can draw from that. For Anastasia, I took inspiration from myself, Azula, and Wanda Maximoff and Natashs Romanoff. 

The Nightshade Chronicles was inspire by Percy Jackson mainly being twelve I wanted to create my own take of the Greek Gods. I just made it a bit more mature and a lot darker. Fair warning, there is some dark stuff in the books, and it progresses gradually through them. If needed there will be trigger warnings.

My dream is to create a following and fandom who enjoys my books. If that doesn’t happen that’s okay too, because I really wrote the books for me and whoever else wants to enjoy them!

The Nightshade Chronicles

Hey! Gigi here! The Nightshade Chronicles will actually be a five book series with the first book finished and being edited, and the second well on its way. The series titles are the following. 

1. Crown of Nightmares

2. Cursed Hour

3. Remains of Tomorrow 

4. The Masquerade of Kronos

5. Soleil

Book 2 and 3 are rather special ones in that they have to be written somewhat at the same time, and that’s all I can say without giving them away. Book 4 follows closely with the events of 2 and 3, and Book 5 brings it all together in a grand finale.

Who Am I?

My name is V. De Ville. I’m starting a series called the Nightshade Chronicles. Post are on here and Wattpad under VDeVille. The first book in the series Crown Of Nightmares, is complete and I am uploading it currently. Here’s the short synopsis. 

When Asgardians threaten Olympus and Earth, sixteen-year-old, Anastasia Nightshade, daughter of Kronos and Rhea, sister to the original Olympians is put up to the task of stopping them. A trained assassin with a life of loss, her demons come back to haunt her as she begins training for the fight of her life. As her life flips upside introducing new family, friends and enemies, new worlds, and even love, Anastasia will soon have to face the Asgardians and her biggest enemy, herself.

If you like Percy Jackson/Rick Riordan, Sarah J. Maas, and any other fantasy author, I’m sure you’ll like this book. It had a strong female lead, but she also has her own flaws. Hope you enjoy! Oh and btw, I’m a Slytherin and Child of Zeus.
