hey guys sorry for not posting in a while i鈥檝e been logged out and just haven鈥檛 been making any progress yet
but.... i saw that someone asked like two months ago if i could explain the left brain right brain thing that i mentioned
and i鈥檓 really not good at explaining things like at all
so i鈥檒l just try and explain this how i understand it from what i鈥檝e heard other people say.
(just remember that i haven鈥檛 shifted just yet so this may be completely false information. this is just what i鈥檝e heard)
so basically....
there are two sides to your brain: the left and your right.
the left side is the more logical side and the right is your imagination
by turning off your left brain, you鈥檙e giving your right brain complete control. so, when you start your affirmations, telling yourself that you are already in your dr, your right brain believes that it鈥檚 true.
here is how to turn your left brain off:
get into a comfy position. this is important because you will be in this position for a while.
lie still in this position聽(i鈥檝e heard people say for 15-20 minutes but just until you feel like you鈥檙e floating)
you can also start to visualize your dr or your memories in from your dr while you are lying there but i dont think this is needed. so, if you can鈥檛 visualize or if its hard to, that should be fine.
then! you can now start your affirmations
and then just go to sleep (without moving)
note: you can do this alone or with a method, i dont think it matters
hope this helps you guys.
remember i am still learning stuff about shifting. so, if any of this information is wrong, i apologize. but, please if you do catch any thing that is wrong, please let me know.
okay, so i fell asleep last night before i was able to even try to shift, so i wont be posting a day 10 today,
however! i did say i was going to post a shifting routine, so here it is.
little disclaimer: i am not saying this is how you should prepare to shift. this is just how i do it. and i haven鈥檛 shifted yet. if i am doing anything wrong, please feel free to reblog, send an ask, or let me know in messages.聽
so, first, i always make sure i have all of my school work done for the day. i鈥檝e learned that if i don鈥檛 do all of my work, i will be stressing over it while i鈥檓 trying to shift and it distracts me.
then, i eat something and drink water. it helps to be hydrated and have something on your stomach when you鈥檙e trying to shift.
over the course of the day, i like to pretend that i鈥檓 already in my dr. it sort of helps you get into that mindset. (i鈥檝e seen other ppl say that as well)
i also just do stuff that makes me happy throughout the day in order to keep my vibrations up. if im not in a good mood that day, i probably wont try and shift.
another thing to do throughout the day is listen to subliminals. sometimes, i have a subliminal video play in the background while i eat or work out school work.
okay, after all that stuff, i go to my room, ready to shift.
first thing i do is make sure that my bed is made, my room is clean. it helps to try to shift in a clean environment.
then, i get out my laptop, some times i scroll through tumblr for a little or tiktok before i actually start preparing.
after that! i play my happy vibes :D playlist. it helps me get into a better mood.
then, i meditate. sometimes, i meditate on my own. and sometimes i use a guided meditation.
then, i play subliminals while i look over my script and even edit it some.
then, i put everything away and lay down to shift.
i鈥檝e mostly used the raven method, but that hasn鈥檛 been working. (although it has been giving me the most symptoms)
so now i鈥檝e been using a different method (idk what its called) where you just shut off your left brain and make your right brain think you are actually already in your dr (dont know if i explained that right lol)
sorry if this misleads anybody. like i said, i haven鈥檛 shifted. i am still learning. so please don鈥檛 yell at me lol. if i am doing anything wrong tho, please let me know. it would really help me out!
i started a shifting journal just to document all things shifting since i tend forget things a lot yk.
so far. i copied my script into that journal. i have some affirmations listed in there. and I plan to document angel number sightings,
sooo, i tried shifting last night!
i was so close, but I was also high so maybe I wasn't. i probably shouldn't try and shift while i'm high.
but! i am going to shift tonight while i'm sober.
also, i've decided to try another method since the raven method hasn't been working out for me.
i've seen people say just to turn off my left brain (by laying still) and say affirmations bc your right brain will make you believe that you are actually there. that could be totally wrong but i will try it anyway.
i've also changed my prepping routine around. i will make a separate post about that soon.
I took a long break from shifting because of school and all of the stressful stuff going on rn, but I think I'm going to shift tonight. I'll make sure to update you guys.
i know i probably shouldn鈥檛 have because of what happened the night before but like i was excited that maybe i actually did do it and just didn鈥檛 remember it
anyway, i tried the raven method this time and i had a lot of symptoms....
like more than usual which is really cool
like i felt tingly and dizzy like i usually do
but i also saw white lights and like felt like i was floating which is new
but......
i got distracted because my dog jumped on the bed
and i was like drained after that so i went to sleep.
i am not going to try again tonight.
i鈥檓 going to wait a couple days so i can get re-energized.
i think i鈥檓 really close to shifting (and remembering it lol)
i learned about shifting on tiktok like most of us did (actually idk if most us did lol)
i鈥檝e been trying to shift for around 6 months. so far, i haven鈥檛 been able to do it just yet, but i will keep you updated. (that鈥檚 basically what i made this account for lmao)
i鈥檓 trying to shift to hogwarts, mcu, outerbanks, and others
i am obsessed with draco malfoy (also cedric diggory and tom riddle but we do not need to talk about that rn)
anywayyyy, i made this blog to document each day i鈥檝e tried to shift (which won鈥檛 be every day obv) and to聽share my experiences with you guys.聽
if you have any questions about shifting, you may message me or send an ask. although i recommend asking someone who is more educated on the subject, i will try my best to answer them the best that i can! remember that i am not an expert what-so-ever and don鈥檛 yell at me if i give you the wrong advice.
