This is to any system out there that’s frontstuck.
This can be a new system just taking their first steps together, or a system that’s been aware for a while.
Breathe. You will get through this.
I know being frontstuck can be scary. But you’re still not alone, and you got this. And you are. Not. Faking.
For new systems especially, YOU ARE NOT FAKING. Trust me. You’re still valid even if you can’t switch or communicate with anyone. I can promise you it is temporary, and you’ll all be alright. You didn’t make everything up and then suddenly lose contact with everyone.
When we get frontstuck (as I am right now), I tend to take these days alone in stride. Being in a decently sized system does make for some louder days, but when frontstuck it’s just you.
You don’t need to share time today with other headmates, so go do what you love. Go watch that TV series you wanted to start. Go draw or write or play games. Listen to that song everyone else in your system complains about. Do you today.
And if you’re going through a hard time right now, I believe in you. You can do this. You are so strong, and you’re system will be back soon to help.
Take care of yourselves out there. Happy holidays! 🫶

I think that people mistake that they're front stuck for not having visible switches?? Especially if your switching amnesia doesn't register.
Like. You could think you're front stuck all the time because your switches are very subtle and you have an uninterrupted stream of consciousness.
I always thought that I was in the driver's seat, and it didn't make sense to me that my switches didn't work like that. And sure, I did have very noticeable switches sometimes, especially when I was stressed. But it was weird that I just was always "me".
I've come to learn that I often don't see myself as a different person when most alters front, I am them but it's disorienting.
So, likely you may not always be frontstuck if you feel like you are most of the time.
