Finally got brave enough to listen to Saviors and.....I don't hate it? It's kinda good? I suppose that's a win after I've hated everything they've put out for the last 15 years.

I didn't get into The Longshot until 2020 and I remember not understanding how Billie could write those really very good Longshot songs in 2018 or whenever and then regress into whatever the fuck he was doing with FOAMF. Saviors finally feels like the coherent Longshot album I was looking for, although it still doesn't sound like a Green Day album to me. But I'm not mad at it, so I'll let it slide.

I think it’s obvious Tre had something done and that’s what I was responding to when I said I think he’s not being truthful. I can’t tell with Billie but I also can’t clock these things unless it’s real obvious. Sometimes he looks his age and sometimes he looks younger. I think he gets good genes from his mom fwiw.
