CrisuArts / Crisucchi used to have vore on their fursona’s Toyhouse profile. I blocked them ages ago because of it but it seems like they’ve deleted the images now, no idea why.

One of the helpers was kind enough to send me FD on my birthday to get my username changed (didn't even ask, they just sent some over). I've had that old username since I first started roaming the internet at 13. It was definitely time for a change. So it was incredibly nice of them to donate. This community is so lovely at times. 😭

While I usually try to stay back when it comes to obvious beginner artists, HeartsTheKitty's character designs are, uh... Something. I think the pink cat may need an eyestrain warning, they gave me a headache that I haven't been able to shake for a few hours now.

Other than stall purchases and buying art on the forums I have mostly been playing to myself since beta. Absolutely doable, I'm decently wealthy in game just from doing my own thing. You can absolutely ignore the social aspects of furvilla and still have a good time.

As far as I'm concerned, some artist still had to create the paintie, be it a base edit or an original artwork intended for a Shifty base. How is that not art? And since they've used the art without permission, is that not what would be called stealing art? Good for you if you don't care personally, really, but you've probably seen the responses here. Plushklavier also puts it simply. People are upset and rightfully so.

747404612918804480 • I don't agree with harassing them *but* i understand why people are upset - it's not just the case of "stealing art", but these are people's *original characters*, characters they're *not* cool with some random person adding to a random game. Even if it was ""just"" art theft, it would still be wrong and the artists/character owners would have the right to be upset. Harassing the user is shitty though. They've now closed the asks on their blog. Ever heard of asking nicely?

there's a difference between going to the art thief and explaining the situation using firm but kind words - and it's another thing to keep bothering them in their askbox with strong language. i'm not surprised knowing how this corner of the internet can be, though.

is fv playable if you disregard the community aspect? i want to come back because i remember really liking the gameplay (yes really) but i don’t remember how integral it is to interact with other people, and that + the lack of new content (which probably wouldn’t be an issue as i have a lot to catch up on anyway) seems to be the biggest problem people are having

i dont think the steam thing is stealing art and i dont think it requires legal action lmfao. as a digital artist, someone putting something i drew into a game just to have is literally not that big of a deal. its not like theyre claiming they drew it. i feel like theres WAY bigger problems on furvilla than someone uploading mods including painties.
