I think the fact that even people who ostensibly claim to support disability rights are still comparing disabled humans to this livestock animal shows how little progress we've made.

I'm so cynical about that two-headed calf.

it's 2 weeks old and still can't stand. yesterday's update was "here is a video of her holding her head up", with a claim that it is growing in strength - but in the video, it very much looks like the heads are being propped up by a bag of woodchips.

calves should be standing within 2 hours of birth. by the third day, they should be mobile enough that they're hard to catch. by adulthood, they weigh over a thousand pounds.

there's also a religious angle to this. many of the farm's posts have been intensely christian, the farm has described the calf as 'a miracle from God', and nearly all the comments are people offering prayers. meaning.....they might not be making the most objective decisions regarding this animal's welfare.

I'm in a livestock Facebook group and two-headed calves aren't as rare as you'd think. mostly, they're born dead, or die shortly after birth. this isn't a deformity that is compatible with life, and I just can't see any outcome where this calf starts thriving.

Had the weirdest dream. I was using this tanning lotion that gave me like, a (slight) tan in this crowded park. I went to get some more from the bottle and it turned my skin EXTREMELY pale. It turns out their was this extremely pale raven-haired witch like two feet behind the crowd (a crowd had formed at this point) who cast a spell to make it whitening cream.

OK, it depends on if u smoke or do edibles 1st of all. Smoking tends to have less of an effect than edibles due to absorption. Vapes tend to fuck up your tolerance compared to smoking or edibles. My suggestion as a stoner who works a job w/ drug testing is that postponing it will make your high stronger, but also, no weed :(.

2 months compared to 1 month is a substantial difference in thc count (depending on genetics, some ppl have faster metabolisms than others). So if you can go another month it's likely you'll experience a stronger high.

hey stoners of tumblr i need advice

i've been taking a t break the whole of february and was planning on resuming march 1 but i think i could do another month easily if it would have a meaningful impact; most stuff i can find on the internet says "at least 21 days" is the best amount but doesn't say anything on if 2 months will lead to a substantial reduction in tolerance relative to 1 month. does anyone have experience here? this article suggests normal levels are reached after 28 days but that's just one article and they stopped looking after 4 weeks.
