The Official 2023 Madaparty Themes!!!

I will reblog everything tagged #2023MadagascarParty or #2023Madaparty to this blog during the event!

Other Information- (aka all about how there aren't really any rules here just fandom fun!)

You can make fanart, fanfiction, amvs, memes, edits, analysis, animation, cosplay, and any other type of fan content you can think of.

You do not have to do every theme to participate! You also aren't limited to one thing per theme or per day. You don't have to make your contributions on the theme days themselves. Feel free to get a head start if you're busy during the event but still want to post things to participate.

The themes are meant to be used as inspiration and can be interpreted however you want! For example, for Holidays, that can mean any holiday you want whether that is a holiday close to the event dates like Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or New Year's Eve, holidays from other times of year like Valentine's Day or Halloween or even in universe holidays like King Julien Day! Similarly Love can be any kind of love, romantic, platonic, familial etc. Genre was submitted as a suggestion with the concept of reimagining any media in the franchise in a different genre. But if you have a different way to interpret that then by all means feel free to do so!

Overall the event is meant to be a fun way to celebrate this franchise! I hope you're all excited! I know I am! :D

2021 Madagascar Party

Hey everyone! The 2021 Madaparty is getting closer! It will be running from November 28 (the 13th anniversary of The Penguins of Madagascar) to December 19 (the 7th anniversary of All Hail King Julien). Episode 1 - The Strife Aquatic

The true meaning of the wedding dress

I was thinking about a lot back then, what was the point of Ted having a wedding dress in this episode, since he could be the scary monster without it, too. But now, I know why.

So Julien was running through the submarine, screaming, while his consciensce generated scary visions, made him saw his people, his brother, and all of the others he deserted. And then he saw the wedding dressed Ted as a skeleton, which tried to catch him. I think, this was a metaphor for his kingdom itself. Remember the Kingdom, You Ain't No Lady, You Are My Wife song? It was a reference for that, this is why it has to be in a wedding dress...it symbolized that he deserted his kingdom, too...

Exiled-iversary

Hello Madagascar Fandom!

May 12 is the 4th anniversary of All Hail King Julien: Exiled. So starting that date there will be an event to celebrate! It will run for two weeks and each day will be centered on an episode.

However, for this event the themes are mostly there if you want a challenge. You don't have to do all the themes to participate in the event. All you need to do to participate is make something Exiled themed during the two week window. Any content tagged #Exiled-iversary will be reblogged here during the event!

Any form of fan content is welcome and encouraged. This is including but not limited to fanart, fanfiction, fan videos, analysis, reviews, crafts, memes, etc.
