Sunday Morning Listening (SML) 135 Whitesnake -“Saints and a Sinners” This was another rare album (at that time) that I wished to have. Succeeded. A record shop in Manhattan had it. Thrilled to listen to it. Then in US the album had mediocre responses but later re recorded Crying in the Rain and Here I go Again made high up on the Billboard chart if I’m not wrong. IMHO, I like the performance of this album than the latter one. This is more raw performance without much sound engineering. Especially David’s voice sounds more natural. Besides look at the line ups, John Lord and Ian Paice playing along with Neil, Bernie and Micky. Legendary musicians all together. You can’t beat that.
