I have not been as active as I used to be a month ago. From the intense election, to death in the family, to the next decade beginning with many unpredictabilities, I thought it would be best to take a break from the Internet to decompress myself, as well as finding at least one or two hobbies to preoccupy myself. Also, I may at least complete one of my items in my bucket list (one of them being able to see the Milky Way in the night sky, in person, for the first time), starting in the 2020′s.

That said, just because I am not as active as I used to be, does not mean I will be gone, permanently; it is just that I will be checking Tumblr every other day (as opposed to every day) for any notifications or other updates I believe I need to attend to.

Like I said, I am still here; just not as active as I used to be...

Hello, Everyone

I have not been very active on the Internet, lately, so I thought I would update you on what has been going on.

This Election is taking a toll on us, emotionally and mentally, and has been inducing quite a lot of stress and uncertainty on us. Not only that, but I just found out that my father had just passed away, which really devastated me, since I was so close to him.

Because of this, I need some time off from the Internet to recollect myself, find a new hobby (or hobbies, since I can have more than one) and routine, and get some time to destress myself (which could mean I will do artwork offline rather than posting them online like I usually do; focus on web coding, since I recently took an interest in it; and take much better care of myself, overall).

That said, I will not be permanently gone from Tumblr; I will still check for any updates, and maybe post something else, if it is convenient or whether I am feeling a little better.

Regardless of who wins in 2020, we must stay strong. Keep voicing your own opinions and defending what you believe is right, showcase your creativity and talents (if you feel like it), encourage others to do the same, be more successful in life, never let anyone tell you how to live your personal lives (unless you engage in self-harm, which I will not tolerate, and neither would anyone else, I believe), and never give up.

Thrillerworld

The Pitch Black Sky is made with DA Muro; the full moon, ground, spiderwebs, and extra details with Adobe Photoshop; and the Dead Trees, Black Cat, Fancy Bird, Crow, Vampire Bats, and Black Hole with Microsoft PowerPoint. Since it is Halloween, I thought I would make a fitting image regarding this spooky holiday. Last Halloween, I made the Black Hole all by itself; now, I made use with it, among other images I made much later. This extraterrestrial planet the Fighter Jet is in is called Thrillerworld, since the planet appears haunted; there is even a black hole nearby, and it is pulling the moon apart! Talk about spooky... Planet Thrillerworld has little to no vegetation, so all of the animals inhabiting the planet are carnivores; the bats, fancy bird, and crow tend to feed on spiders (which are in hiding; the only evidence of spiders are the webs they leave on the tree boughs), and may eat their own kind, if desperate or tired of spiders. The Fighter Jet, cat, bats, birds, and trees are to scale. The crow seems to really like the Fighter Jet, since it is perched on it. Happy Halloween, everyone.

Planet Wave

The Pitch Black Sky is made with DA Muro; the grid, mountains, contrails, and extra details with Adobe Photoshop; and the Fighter Jet and the sun with Microsoft PowerPoint. My first Retrowave artwork I have ever created. The Fighter Jet is flying on a mysterious planet that, once the plane entered its atmosphere, is completely gridded (including the Fighter Jet), and the star the planet is orbiting looks like some artwork made in the 1980's. This is what this planet is based on. Also one of the fewer artwork I made that contains a vanishing point.

What A Magnificent View...

The red sky is made with DA Muro; the ocean, sand, terrain, A class star (the planet's sun), stars, and extra details (including the reflection) with Adobe Photoshop; and the Extraterrestrial Palm trees and Shrub, the Extraterrestrial Fancy Bird, and the Fighter Jet with Microsoft PowerPoint. I believe this is one of my best artwork, since I put in a little more detail to make it much more realistic; this is the first time I ever made an ocean with a reflection. The castaway Fighter Jet and the planet's wildlife are to scale.

Ideal Weather For An Ideal Relaxation Spot

The Thunderclouds image is made with DA Muro, the body of water and extra details with Adobe Photoshop, and the three Fighter Jets with Microsoft PowerPoint. The sky is completely covered with clouds, but there is no actual thunderstorm (or at least a storm too dangerous to be swimming); perhaps a little rain here and there; the temperature is very cool, and the water is very calm and very soothing. While the two Fighter Jets are just relaxing and floating on the water, the other Fighter Jet farther away from them is just having a lot of fun, and is acting like a dolphin or whale. Do not worry; the water will not damage the planes, since they are waterproof. What can this body of water be? Is it an ocean/sea, lake, river, or in another planet where it is completely covered in water and almost always cloudy? You decide.

Life On Planet Orazure

The Orange Sky is made with DA Muro; the grass, contrails, lichen, one of the moons, and extra details with Adobe Photoshop; and the Extraterrestrial Palm trees, Alien Flowers, the Jovian Planet, one of the moons, the Extraterrestrial Wolf, the Extraterrestrial Fancy Bird, and the Fighter Jet with Microsoft PowerPoint. The same Fighter Jet that visited Planets Ultramarine and Chthonica is now in Planet Orazure (a portmanteau of orange and azure, since the contrasting colors are orange and blue), which is found in yet another star system. Planet Orazure contains bluish vegetation, orange sky, and golden oceans. It is also one of the fewer planets to contain lichen (which is seafoam green in color, attaches itself to the palm trees, and is as sturdy as a branch); a bird is perched onto one of the lichens attached to a palm tree not shown on this image.

Planet Fuchsia

The Dark Teal Sky is made with DA Muro; the grass, flowers, stars, mountains, and extra details with Adobe Photoshop; and the trees, planets and moons, Extraterrestrial Wolf, and Extraterrestrial Peacock with Microsoft PowerPoint. The Extraterrestrial Palm trees are the most populous plants in Planet Fuchsia; the Extraterrestrial Wolves and Peacocks are the most populous animals. This habitat has the ground completely covered in grass, which gives smaller animals an advantage to hide from predators. Unfortunately for the Peacock, the grass is not tall enough for him to hide in... The visible stars in the sky indicates a low atmosphere in Planet Fuchsia; Earth's atmosphere would kill off the wildlife really quickly.

Meadowy Vernal Equinox (Spring Has Sprung)

Made with Da Muro (the Cloudy Daytime Sky), Adobe Photoshop (the grass, flowers, and contrails), and Microsoft PowerPoint (the Fighter Jet and the Thrush). Judging by the contrails and a sparse amount of flowers in the meadow (not to mention the title), this took place somewhere in March. I could be mistaken, though, since different places on Earth have different climates...

Has Anyone Heard Of The Eldran Series?

While I was browsing for content (in and outside of Tumblr), and my current interest is Super Robot anime shows, I stumbled across a robot anime series from the early 1990′s almost like the Brave Saga, except humans pilot the titular robots. That series is the Eldran series, and it contains three shows; the first being Zettai Muteki Raijin-Oh, the second being Genki Bakuhatsu Ganbaruger, and the third being Nekketsu Saikyo Go-Saurer; there is also an OVA titled Kanzen Shouri Daiteioh.

Although the robots are not sentient like the Transformers or the Brave robots, their designs and poses are fascinating, and the overall premise is really interesting; the Mecha robots are piloted by three elementary schoolers (in contrast to teenagers or young adults), and the three robots combine into one massive Mecha robot for each huge battle (at least once per episode, I suppose).

This sounds like something I plan to check out, at some point in the future (starting with the first anime show; otherwise, the best show); I suspect that the Eldran series is a lesser-known Mecha series, since I have not heard about it until now...

Beats ARE contagious, after all...

One of the very catchy 1980′s dance songs by Gloria Estefan and Miami Sound Machine, “Dr. Beat,” focuses on dancing to the music, and how it is considered a medical emergency (figuratively speaking, of course) to the singer. There is another song called “Conga,” which focuses on dancing to the beat, as well, but I choose “Dr. Beat” due to its unique rhythm, tempo, and creative ways for lyrics, as well as how it motivates me even more to dance to the music.

“Dr. Beat” is not a very well-known song to the vast majority of music fans, let alone 1980′s music fans; maybe to Gloria Estefan fans, but I would not be too sure, either. Nevertheless, it is still a very good dance song, in my opinion.

If you disagree, that is perfectly fine; just respectfully give a reason why you prefer “Conga” over “Dr. Beat,” do not like or prefer any of these two songs, or why you like both. Everyone has different tastes in music; decadal music (like the 1980′s, for instance) is no exception.

Contrary To Popular Belief...

There IS sound in space, courtesy to planets, stars, and other celestial bodies (without them, there would be just a vacuum with no sound; just pitch blackness). There is actual proof of this, thanks to innovative technology and constant discoveries being found in space.

I would remember thinking that planets (Earth, in particular) just made rumbling sounds like we hear in movies, TV shows, and videogames, until I learned that there is no sound in space; that is, until I decided to look up sounds in space, and sure enough, I was almost right; the planets did make sounds, but not like how I originally thought they would sound like. Each planet, moon, and star has their own unique “song” that becomes one of their more defining traits.

To hear them to believe it, here is a montage video of celestial sounds:

(Of course, there are many other videos with such proof of planetary sounds; some including sound ambiences from one of the planets like Earth or Jupiter that last for around one hour.)

If you still believe there is no sound in space, that is perfectly fine; in fact, if you like, you may comment and give your reasoning why you think space is soundless despite the use of modern technology.

I wonder what other celestial bodies outside our solar system would sound like, though; fictional planets can have sounds courtesy to synthesizers and voice modulators for hypothetical sounds (especially for making movies, TV shows, videogames, or animated works). Who knows; space IS filled with wonder, after all...

Of course, since cruising around a city or town contains a lot of light pollution, making it much more difficult to see many stars in the nighttime sky (if fortunate, we may get the chance to see a few constellations or so, depending on where we are observing it, and whether it would be cloudy or not). Sometimes, it is good to get out and explore nature, once in a while.

And who would not want to see the Milky Way in the sky? It could be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, or a chance to observe the night sky and gaze at its wonders...

We Can Still See You Down There

The skyscape is made with DA Muro; the mountains, contrails, grass, and other details by Adobe Photoshop; and the trees and fighter jets by Microsoft PowerPoint. The green Fighter Jet may have been disguised well in the tall green grass, but the flying Fighter Jets can still see their hiding friend on the terrain, despite the blending shades of green. So much for camouflage, right?

Stranded On An Alien Planet In The Nighttime

I have created yet another mixed media image with DA Muro (the Spacescape with many stars), Adobe Photoshop (the grass, the gas giant, the comet, and the misty clouds), and Microsoft PowerPoint (the Fighter Jet and the Spore Skunk). How the fighter jet got stranded on an alien planet will be up to you. But I will give you a hint: the plane was carried via spaceship. And yes, the extraterrestrial skunk and the plane are of actual size; the skunk is enormous!
