Luz could have very easily gone down the path of darkness and I've decided to make an AU about it.
Luz meets Eda and hears about Belos. She goes to see him and joins the Emperor's Coven with the promise of being taught magic.
Belos, realising she looks just like a girl from the past that taught him the final glyph he needed, begins teacher Luz everything he knows.
(Note: Luz still learns most combos on her own)
Luz doesn't meet any of her friends until later on (after she goes through glyph training, scout training and becomes a guard) when she is sent on a recruitment misson to hexside.
While there, she gets Amity to join the Emperor's Coven, convinces Willow to switch from the abomination track and gets Gus to begin training to become the next Illusion Coven Head.
Luz meets Hunter shortly after joining the Emperor's Coven. She tries teaching him Glyphs but Belos forbid her (because Hunter learning Glyphs doesn't benefit him).
Over 3 months, Luz gains strength, power and respect.
She soon gets dubbed 'The Human Guard' and has about the same ranking as Hunter.
Very little is knows about her to the public (other than her being human).
Now the events that change with this AU:
- Luz feels mercy for Eda and stops her from being petrified
- Lilith breaks away from the Emperor's Coven, shares the curse with Eda and they both join CATs
- King gets sacrificed to The Collector
- Amity goes through scout training while working part-time at Blight Industries
- Hunter finds out he's a grimwalker and Luz finds out Belos is a witch hunter. They are both horrified by the news but decided it isn't worth losing the life they have.
- The Day of Unity succeeds
- Lumity don't start dating but they have a real connection (Luz doesn't chase it because of Belos' hatred for witches)
Now, Luz's attributes that would make her a great villain:
I'd like to have an open and honest conversation about Huntlow, if someone will indulge me.
In the most recent episodes of The Owl House, we have seen Hunter blush over Willow and it's seems quite obvious that we are being set up for Huntlow to be canon.
I personally don't ship it (mainly because I'm the type to find a ship and stick to it aka Goldric) but I do think it is kinda cute. However, I prefer to see the pair as close friends.
Many people who don't ship Huntlow use the excuse of their age gap (Willow being 14 and Hunter being 16) and that's vaild. But it's come to my attention that in Labrinth Runners, when we get a look at the photos of Gus' wall, it looks like Willow is celebrating a birthday after joining the plant track. This could mean she is now 15. But the wiki still says she's 14 so it's all unclear.
Personally, I wouldn't be upset if Huntlow became canon on one condition: if they develop a proper friendship and understanding of each other first. Hunter needs a friend more than a girlfriend.
I don't understand why everyone is being so mean about how the twins look in the new episode...
All that's different for Emira is that she has acne and her hair isn't done. Her hair is so goddamn long, I wouldn't want to do it up everyday either.
And knowing Edric, he probably just felt to lazy to shave, change and put in his contacts (or whatever the magic equivalent is).
Nowhere in the episode does it say that this is how they look 24/7.
And yes, Emira's concealment stone is part of her everyday outfit but she doesn't wear it while in her school uniform. And, it is not part of her outfit in Adventures in the Elements
They're 16! Some days they aren't going to want to bother with all that getting ready shit. Personally, if I had a concealment stone, I'd use it all the fucking time.
And to be honest, whether they keep the designs for the twins in this episode for the rest of the show or not i'm going to be happy either way.
