I'm not deleting anything, but I'll be putting my occasional tma posts on my main blog from now on. HELLO I’M SO EXCITED TO SHARE THIS AAAAA!!! So, awhile ago I finally decided I wanted to put together something of a face claim for Jon so I could picture him more realistically, and ended up blending a bunch of dudes’ faces together in order to get some of the features I wanted. I then went absolutely ham converting that result into my Jon and WOW,,,, I’m still blown away by how much I love this. Like wtf!! That’s him!! That’s my guy!!!! I'd love to hear about "a study in silk"! For the WIP game~

Ahhhh thank you for asking! This is a rather new one I'm really excited about. This fic is a TMA oneshot based on Conan Doyle's A Study in Scarlet, but with Jon as Sherlock Holmes and Martin as Dr. Watson. There won't be fears in this universe, just some spooky crimes.

The basic gist is:

Martin recently returned from a voyage where he was working as doctor aboard a naval ship. He’s suffered an injury and been discharged. Therefore, he's seeking civilian clients in London, friends, and a flat, in no particular order.

An acquaintance of his - Tim - suggests he take on Jon as a new client, because Jon has a habit of fainting.

Martin and Jon kind of have a "meet ugly" which makes it surprising when Tim ultimately persuades Jon to take Martin as a roommate and Jon agrees.

Martin realizes quickly that while Jon is an extremely observant private eye, he's also kind of a mess. Martin tries to follow him one night because Jon forgot to take his medicine, only to end up tangled in the middle of Jon's detective work to track down the mundane equivalent of the Web.

Shenanigans happen and Jon stays up for 2 days straight in order to rescue Martin, only to faint as soon as they're both in the clear. Martin carries him back to the flat and revives him with tea.

Back at the flat, Martin is like, look thanks for saving me but can you PLEASE take care of yourself

Jon is like yes fine, would you like to do some more crime solving and do you want a job?

That's the rough summary! I'm hoping to get started on some more of it soon, and it may become a series someday! We'll see!
