How to start this new semester with God💗🥰💙
Verse: “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭15:13
Maybe right now, you are really struggling. Maybe you are like me and you are going back to school next week. Maybe you are going back to college, high school, or work. You might be feeling anxious and overwhelmed. I want you to know that no matter what you face this semester: you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you (Phillpians 4:13).
I know I am feeling very anxious. As you all know, I graduated with my associates degree in May so on Thursday I am starting college as a junior in a HUGE college compared to the college I graduated from. I am excited but also scared. I am scared mostly because I will be doing classes in my major (English and Education) and it’s scary starting something new. This new semester might scare you too. I want you to know that no matter what you face this semester, you can do it. Why? I know you can because you can do ANYTHING with God on your side (Matthew 19:26).
How do you have God on your side this semester? You seek Him through: reading The Bible, praying to Him, worshiping Him, praising Him, and being still and listening to Him. As you seek God, He will draw near to you (Psalm 125:1-2). God will be there to help you through whatever you are facing as you seek Him (Psalm 121:1-2). God will comfort you (Isaiah 49:13), love you (John 3:16), guide you (Hebrews 13:5), help you and always be there for you (Psalm 121:1-2).
No matter what you face, you don’t have it alone. God wants to be there for you no matter what (Psalm 118:6). When you pray to Him, tell Him EVERYTHING! He wants to hear from you (Psalm 33:4). If you feel anxious, tell Him. If you feel depressed, tell Him! He care about you (Isaiah 49:13) and He loves you (John 3:16). He is a loving Father just waiting for you to seek Him so He can wrap his arms around you and help you (Psalm 121:1-2).
I promise you, you are not alone (Psalm 125:1,2). God is with you, always (Psalm 125:1,2). So whenever you start to feel stressed or overwhelmed, run to God by seeking Him. Then He will bless you with His strength to keep going no matter what (Psalm 136:1).
So let’s start this semester with God on our side!
Prayer:
Dear God,
God, I feel anxious about this new semester. God, I pray that as I seek you, that you bless me with whatever I need to make it through each day. I pray that this semester, whenever I feel stressed or overwhelmed, remind me to come to you. Because in your word, you say that all who are weary can come to you for rest and strength. I pray that you bless me with everything I need to make it through every day. I praise you for you are so good to me. I praise you for your goodness, love, and mercy. I thank you for everything you do for me, even when I can’t see it. Thank you for being so good to me even though I don’t deserve it.
I thank you for all my many blessings and Your Son.
In Jesus’s name, I pray, Amen!

How to rest in Jesus💗💜🙏🏻
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11:28‬ ‭NIV‬‬
This devotional is for my Mom (love you Mom!) who needs to learn how to rest.
In our world today, we are constantly on the go. We have giant to do lists that have to get done. We have school work, work, chores, and so much more. When was the last time that you rested? Like truly rested in Jesus, not playing on your phone or watching tv. In this devotional I am going to share how to rest in Jesus.
1. Run to Jesus by praying
Get in a silent place and pray to Jesus. When you pray to Him, tell Him about all your problems. He wants to hear from you (Isaiah 49:13). He wants to hear the little things in life like getting mad at your boss. God wants to hear from you. So share your heart with Him. Tell Him EVERYTHING! Your fears, doubts, depression, anxiety, and stress. So you can pray to God in many ways: just talking to Him in your head, saying your prayers out loud, or writing them down. God doesn't care how you pray, He just wants to hear from you (Isaiah 49:13) because He loves you (John 3:16) and He cares for you (Hebrews 13:5). God wants you to talk to Him as much as you possiblilty can. One thing I learned from a church camp was praying to God while you brush your teeth. You can't talk to anyone else so for the two minutes you brush your teeth, talk to God!
2. Reading the Bible
I know I say this all the time but reading your Bible daily (or as much as possible) will help you rest in God. As you read your Bible, pray to God: " God, as I read your word, help me rest in you. I surrender everything to you. I ask you to fill me with your rest and help me through each day.  Help me to understand your word and how it applies to my life." God will show you how to rest as you seek Him (Hebrews 13:5). As you seek God through reading the Bible, praying to Him, worshiping Him, and praising Him; He will draw near to you. (Psalm 125:1-2) It doesn't matter how much time you spend in the word of God, God just wants you to read His word. I know we are all busy and constantly on the go. But try to spend ten minutes reading your Bible at  anytime through each day. I know the more I seek God, the better I feel because God blesses me with peace. And He will bless you with whatever you need as you seek Him (Psalm 121:1-2).
3. Worship God/ Praising Him.
There are many ways to worship God but my favorite is putting on my favorite Christian worship music, and I sing and left my hands to God in worship. But if music is not your thing, you can worship God by thanking Him all He has done for Him. I know I have said this suggestion so many times, but it truly helps: make a gratitude journal and write down everyday things you are thankful to God for.
Here is an example:
Dear God, I thank you for:
I thank you for my amazing family and friends.
I thank you that I can go to my dream college in a few weeks.
I thank you for showing me that I want to become a high school English teacher. I thank you for showing my calling, which is teaching.
I thank you for my pets.
I thank you for the house, food, clothes, and all my basic needs are might thanks to you Lord.
I thank you for my ministry, and I pray that this devotional helps others just like how writing these devotionals helps me.
I thank you for all my many blessings. In Jesus's name, I pray, Amen.
So how do you rest in Jesus?
1. You pray to God.
2. You read your Bible.
3. Your worship God and praise Him.
4. You sit in a quiet and still place and ask Him to speak to you.
I hope this devotional help you as it has helped me.
Thank you Lord!

God will help you face your storm💗💜💙
Verse: “Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭62:5‬ ‭NIV‬‬‬‬‬‬
Maybe right now, you are feeling depressed, stressed, and overwhelmed. Perhaps you are battling a new mental illness and have no clue what you are doing. Maybe you are dealing with mental illnesses, chronic illnesses, cancer, Covid, stress, or anything else. I want you to know that no matter what you face, God wants you to run to Him (Psalm 118:6). And He will be there for you always (Psalm 121:1-2).
I don’t know what you are going through, but God knows (Psalm 125:1-2), and He wants to be there for you (Psalm 121:1-2). God loves you (John 3:16) and wants to have a relationship with you. But a relationship with God is a two-way street, meaning, you have to put in the effort to seek God. Some of the best ways to seek God are reading the Bible, talking to God, worshiping God through worship music, and praising God for all He has done for you. So if you feel distant from God, start seeking Him! God promises us as we seek Him, He will draw near to us (Psalm 125:1-2). God always keeps His promises (Isaiah 49:13).
God is so good (Psalm 31:19), even if you feel like He isn’t good to you about what you are going through. Just remember that with God on your side, you can do anything! (Matthew 19:26) No matter what you are struggling with, God wants to help you through it (Psalm 121:1-2). But you must seek God as much as possible because a relationship with God is a two-way street. But as soon as you start seeking God, He will love you (John 3:16), guide you (Isaiah 49:13), comfort you (Isaiah 49:13), and bless you with whatever you need to keep going and make it through your storm (Jeremiah 29:11).
So seek God today!
Prayer:
Dear God,
God, I pray that as I seek you, you fill me with your love, grace, comfort, and mercy. I pray that as I seek you that I build a strong relationship with you. Because your word says, if I draw near to you, you will draw near to me. I trust in your word, and I love your word. Bless me with everything I need to make it through this storm. I praise you for always loving and being there for me. I thank you for all that you do for me. I praise you for loving me, even when I don’t deserve it. But in you, I can do all things. I praise you for your love, mercy, forgiveness, and kindness.
I thank you for all my many blessings and Your Son.
In Jesus’s name, I pray, Amen!

How to trust in God💗💜
Tumblr media
Verse: “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭56:3‬ ‭NIV‬‬
Maybe right now, you are feeling very fearful. Maybe you are struggling with anxiety and fear. Fear of not paying your bills. Fear of losing your job. Maybe you are afraid about the state of the world right now. No matter what you are struggling with, God wants you to trust in Him (Hebrews 13:8).
How do you trust in God?
1. Surrender everything to Him.
How you surrender to God is praying: “God, I surrender all my life to you. God, I surrender you my fears, doubts, anxieties, my family, job, school, and all my life to you. In Jesus’s Name I pray, Amen,” So you pray something like that and when you feel stressed about something you surrendered to God. You put your trust in God. You say: “God, I am stressed and worried but I am going to choose to put my trust in you. I trust that you have a good plan for my life (Jeremiah 29:11). I surrender everything to you Jesus. In Jesus’s Name, I pray, Amen.” So you let go and give everything to God. You casts your cares to God and trust that He will help you through it (Psalm 121:1-2).
2. You praise God daily for all He has done for you.
One of my favorite ways to praise God is writing lists of all the things I am thankful for.
Here’s one of my lists
1. God I thank you for my amazing family, friends, and pets.
2. God I thank you that in August I will be attending my dream college to become a high school English teacher.
3. God I thank you for showing me my career path of being a teacher.
4. God I thank you for my writing and I pray my writing leads people to you.
5. God I praise you for loving me all the time, no matter what.
I pray all this in Jesus’s Holy Name, Amen.
3. You seek God daily!
I just did a devotional on how to seek God but here are the ways to seek God.
1. Read your Bible.
2. Pray to God.
3. Worship God through Christian worship music by singing and lifting your hands to God.
4. Worship God by praising and thanking God.
If you seek God in those ways daily (or as much as you possibly can) God will draw near to you (Psalm 125:1-2).
4. You put your faith in God
How you put your faith in God is believing in Him and His promises.
Here are some (not all of God’s promises):
God will love you forever. (Psalm 136:1)
God will never leave you. (Hebrews 13:5)
God will comfort you. (Isaiah 49:13)
God will help you and always be there for you. (Psalm 121:1-2)
God is always faithful. (Psalm 33:4)
God keeps His promises. (Isaiah 49:13)
God is good. (Psalm 31:19)
God will draw near to you. (Psalm 125:1-2)
You can do all things through Christ. (Philippians 4:13)
With God on your side, you can do anything! (Matthew 19:26)
God has an amazing plan for your life. (Jeremiah 29:11)
God is for you and on your side. (Psalm 118:6)
God is all around you. (Psalm 125:1,2)
God never changes. (Hebrews 13:8)
So how do you trust in God?
1. You surrender everything to Him in prayer.
2. You praise God daily for all He has done.
3. You seek God daily.
4. You put your faith in God.
5. You trust in God and His promises.
Prayer:
Dear God,
I surrender everything to you: my life, my faith, my doubts, my stress, my job, my friends, my family, school, and I surrender everything to you Lord. God, I thank you for all the amazing things you are doing in my life. I pray that as I seek you daily that you draw near to me. Because your word says you will and I trust in your Word. I am putting my faith, hope, and trust in you Lord and your promises. I thank you for your love, grace, and mercy. I thank you because you are so good.
I thank you for all my many blessings and for Your Son.
In Jesus’s name, I pray, Amen!

As a disabled person I want to go to pride but I can’t if it’s not accessible 🏳️‍🌈❤️💚
When we say make Pride more accessible we mean make sure disabled folks can actually enter the gay bar. (We see your doors with a lip on them.)
When we say make Pride more accessible we mean don’t pack people in and make it hard to move in mobility aids.
When we say make Pride more accessible we mean stop having Pride events that only happen on grass.
When we say make Pride more accessible we mean make sure all bathrooms are easily found and usable.
When we say make Pride more accessible we mean make sure we actually can sit somewhere if we need to. If all the seats are bar stools that is not helping or helpful.
When we say make Pride more accessible we mean don’t expect everyone can dance physically.
Stop using ‘that’s just how it’s always been’ as an excuse. Intersectionality in the community needs to be a thing.
Handicapped queer folk exist, too.

Christmas Special🎄❤️💚
Verse: “For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon his shoulder, and his name will be called wonderful counselor, mighty God, everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6
Merry Christmas everyone!
Today is a special day because today we celebrate the birth of a miracle: the miracle of baby Jesus!
Last Christmas special I talked about how Jesus chose Mary to be His mother and how we are all chosen by God. This Christmas special I want to talk about how good God and even when life is rough, God is still good.
Maybe like me, you have had a rough 2019. This year has been rough year for me and my family. I have battled so much with my fibromyalgia this year and I have been in so much pain. Even though my circumstances may not be good, I still believe God is good (Psalm 31:19) and has a good plan for me (Jeremiah 29:11).
Even if you have had a hard 2019 we can still smile and celebrate Jesus today. Because even when life isn’t good, God is always good (Psalm 31:19). God is good (Psalm 31:19), faithful (Psalm 33:4), and He always keeps His promises (Deuteronomy 7:9).
God is always good because even while we were still sinners He sent His one and only Son to die on the cross for us! (John 3:16) God loves us so much that He would do anything for us(Psalm 136:1). He is always here for us(Psalm 121:1-2) , anytime we come to Him. When we come to Him, He will welcome us home with open arms (Psalm 125:1-2). No matter if it’s been two days or two years since we have talked with Him, He will still always love and accept us to come home to Him (Hebrews 13:5).
God loves us more than we can ever imagine! (John 3:16)
No matter if you have a good 2019 or not, today we can thank God for His Son today. We can praise God for the birth of His Son and thank Jesus for the cross. We can thank God for His never ending love, kindness, and goodness.
Happy Birthday Jesus! Merry Christmas! Praise be to God! Thank you Lord for everything!
Prayer:
Dear God,
Happy birthday Jesus and Merry Christmas! I want to thank you God for your Son. Today we are celebrating the birth of Your Son. Even though I have had a rough year I know that you are still good even when life isn’t. Lord I want to thank you for your goodness, love, kindness, mercy, forgiveness, and for Your Son. I want to thank you for the wonderful life you have blessed me with and I pray I can always praise you even when I am struggling. You are King of King! I love you and I live to serve you.
I thank you for all my many blessings and for Your Son!
In Jesus’s name, I pray, Amen!

Thanksgiving Special
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! In honor of Thanksgiving here is a devotional on how to be thankful:
Tips and tricks on how to be thankful:
"Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." 1 Thessalonians 5:18
1. Be focusing on God and not our problems
How?
By seeking God through prayer, worship, listening to Him, and reading the Bible. As you spend time seeking God, you will grow closer to God and the more you will know about God.
Also you need to change your mindset to stop focusing on your problems and circumstances and fix your eyes on God. You change your mindset by seeking God and asking God to renew your mind. God will renew your mind as you spend time seeking Him. Because when we draw near to God, God will draw near to us. (Psalm 125:1-2)
As one of my favorite authors and speakers Joyce Meyer says: “We all have a part (in a relationship with God). God has a part and we have a part. We have to do our part (by seeking God) because God will not do our part.”
2. To Count our blessings
How do you do that?
Make lists everyday of things you are thankful for and praise God for the things on your list.
Here is my list:
I am thankful for my family and friends.
I am thankful for my pets.
I am thankful for being able to go to college on campus.
I am thankful I have good grades in college.
I am thankful for being able to crochet blankets and run my small business “Caty Crafts.”
I am for my ministry: “Jesus Saves Ministry” and how well it’s growing.
I am thankful for my published book: “Jesus Saves-Daily Devotions” (which is on Amazon and Barnes and Noble just type in the search bar: “Caty Lyle” and you can find it) and how well it has sold.
I am thankful for the devotional book I am writing right now and I love it.
I am thankful for coffee! It’s my favorite drink!
I thankful for watching football with my family.
I am thankful for a new pain doctor who will hopefully really help me.
I am thankful for my internship, I really love my work and it’s so much fun.
I am thankful for an amazing therapist how is helping me.
I am thankful for having a nice car.
I am thankful for my close relationship with God.
I am thankful for Jesus!
3. Remember all that God has done for us
1.Jesus died on the cross FOR US because He loved us so much! (John 3:16)
2.We don’t have to die a painful death because Jesus died for us and our sins. (John 3:16)
3.We get to go to heaven because of Jesus! (John 3:16)
4.God freely gives us: joy, love, rest, peace, freedom, grace, healing, happiness, and so much more. (Psalm 125:1-2)
5.God is always there for us. (Psalm 121:1-2)
6.There is nothing we can do that will separate us from God’s love. (Romans 8:38-39)
7.God is always waiting for us to come into His loving, healing, comforting, encouraging, and loving arms .(Psalm 125:1-2)
8. We can freely talk to God anytime we want because of Jesus. (John 3:16)
Prayer:
Dear God,
Help me be thankful no matter what. Help me fix my eyes on you and not my problems. I praise you because even when everything is lost, I still have you.I thank you for all that you have done for me. I am thankful for Jesus dying on the cross for me because you love me so much. I thank you that now I can have a close relationship with you. I praise you for your goodness, love, and mercy.
I thank you for Your Son and all my many blessings.
In Jesus’s Name, I pray, Amen.

What to do when you are facing storms.
Verse: “'Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.’”
Romans 12:12
Maybe right now, you are really struggling. Maybe you are battling a mental illness, chronic illness, stress at work, stress at school, cancer, or maybe you lost a loved one. No matter the storm or trial you are facing, you can and will get through it with God by your side (Matthew 19:26).
What do you do when you are facing storms?
1. Seek God daily by: reading The Bible, praying to God, and worshiping Him.
If you are facing any storm or trial, the best thing you could ever do would be to seek God daily. Why should you seek God daily? Because if you seek God daily then everyday you will be reading the word of God and by reading the word, you will learn more about God and grow closer to Him. Because as you seek God daily, He will draw near to you (Psalm 125:1-2). The best relationship you can ever have is one with God. So by seeking Him, you will be building a close relationship with God and God will be on your side (Psalm 118:6). And with God on your side, you can do anything (Matthew 19:26).
2. Praise God daily!
How do you praise God? You can praise Him in many ways but my favorite is to write down in a notebook all the things I am grateful for. Then I praise God by praying to Him and thanking Him for everything I wrote in my journal. It’s called a gratitude journal and if you write in it daily, you will be able to see all the amazing things that God has blessed you with. It will open your eyes to see not just your storm but to see God’s goodness, grace, and how God is helping you through this storm (Psalm 121:1-2).
3. Be patient and know that this storm will not last forever.
This step is probably the hardest one because you have to trust God that when God says that storms won’t last forever, you have to believe that and believe in Him. So why should you trust God? Because God will never leave you. (Hebrews 13:5) God will comfort you. (Isaiah 49:13) God will help you and always be there for you. (Psalm 121:1-2) God is always faithful. (Psalm 33:4) God keeps His promises. (Isaiah 49:13) God is good. (Psalm 31:19) God will draw near to you. (Psalm 125:1-2) You can do all things through Christ. (Phillpians 4:13) With God on your side, you can do anything! (Matthew 19:26).
How do you trust God?
You trust God by surrendering everything to Him. You surrender to God your health, your family, your worries, your anxieties, your job, your school, and you do this by praying: “God, today I am surrendering to you everything. I declare that I am putting my faith, hope, and trust in you because you are good. I love you and I believe in you that this storm won’t last forever.”
Prayer:
Dear God,
I pray that as I seek you through reading your word, worshiping you, praying to you, praising you, trusting you, and surrendering everything to you that you bless me with everything I need to make it through this storm. I pray that as I seek you that I grow closer to you and learn more about you. I want to be close to you God so I pray you come into my heart and help me with this storm. I thank you for your goodness, grace, mercy, and love. I praise you for you are so good to me.
I thank you for your Son and all my many blessings.
In Jesus’s name, I pray, Amen.

How to deal with disappointment 💜💗
Verses: “Such hope [in God’s promises] never disappoints us, because God’s love has been abundantly poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”
Romans 5:5 AMP
God will never disappoint you.
Lately maybe you have been dealing with disappointment. Maybe you lost your job, had a break up, something you hoped for didn’t happen, or maybe just feel so disappointed with other people. No matter what disappointment you are facing, know that God will never disappoint you (Romans 5:5).
So no matter what disappointment you are facing, I want to encourage you to run into God’s arms by reading His word, worshiping Him, listening to Him, and praying to Him. Because God has promised to never leave us (Hebrews 13:5), comfort us (Isaiah 49:13), always be there for us (Psalm 121:1-2), and He will never disappoint us (Romans 5:5).
Because as humans living on this Earth, other people will disappoint us because we are human and not perfect. But God is perfect (Psalm 31:19) and we can always count on Him (Psalm 33:4). God loves you so much (John 3:16) and He just wants you to go to Him (Psalm 136:1).
God is truly amazing and so wonderful (Psalm 31:19). So go to God with your hurt and disappointment and I promise, God will fill you with His love, hope, joy, and goodness (Isaiah 49:13).
Prayer:
Dear God,
After now I am dealing with a lot of hurt and disappointment. But I ask that as I seek you through reading your word, listening to you, worshiping you, and praying to you that you help me grow closer to you. Because I know Lord that you will never disappointment me because you are so good. I ask that you bless me with everything I need to make it through every single day. I ask the Holy Spirit to come into my heart and comfort me. I thank you for all your love, mercy, grace, and goodness. I praise you for you are so good to me.
I thank you for all my many blessings and for Your Son.
In Jesus’s name, I pray, Amen!

Run to Jesus💗💜❤️
Verses: “On God my salvation and my glory rest; He is my rock of [unyielding] strength, my refuge is in God.”
Psalms 62:7 AMP
Hey everyone! Gosh it's been so long since I have written anything. First I want to say: I have missed you all so much! The second thing I want to say is I am so sorry I haven’t been writing. The reason I haven’t been writing is because I started working an internship this semester at my college. Now I work and do school and that is why I haven’t written anything since June. But I am happy to be writing today because I finished all my homework and work this weekend. I can’t promise how much I will be posting but just know I love you all and I will write when I can.
So now here is today’s devotional.
Maybe right now, you are really struggling. Maybe you are struggling with stress at school and/or work. Maybe you are struggling with depression, anxiety, any mental illness, chronic illness, COVID, cancer, or maybe you lost a loved one. I don’t know what you are going through but what I do know is: that whatever you are facing, you CAN and WILL get through it. Why? Because you have God on your side, and with God on your side, nothing is impossible! (Phillpians 4:13)
I know right now, I am really struggling mentally. I have been battling horrible depression for months now. I have been talking with both my therapist and psychiatrist. I have changed some of my medicine for my bipolar and depression. But now I just have to wait and pray that this medicine helps. Because right now I am fighting chemical depression which means I have to have a medicine change in order for me to get better. The hard part is finding the right medicine to help me. That’s what I am facing but I do know that I will get through this. Even though my “this” is depression. I know I can get through it because I have God on my side. And with God on my side, I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength (Matthew 19:26).
I don’t know what you “this” is, but I do know and truly believe that you will get through it. Why? Because our God is mightier, stronger, and bigger than everything we will ever face on this Earth (Hebrews 13:8). So how do you get through whatever you are facing? You run to Jesus.
How do you run to Jesus? You run to Jesus by daily reading The Bible, praying daily, and worshiping God daily. Why is it so important to do all these things daily? Because just think about it, how much information do you read on your phone everyday? How much time do you spend on social media? If you are anything like me, then you spend a lot of time on your phone. You probably (like me) use your phone everyday. So if we use our phones everyday, why can’t we pray, read The Bible, and worship God everyday? It’s all about what’s important to you. I know you are like me and you are busy. But somehow we always find time to play on our phones. So instead of playing on your phone for twenty minutes, or ten minutes, use that time to spend it with God.
Now I am sure you are wondering: “the Bible is so big, where to do I even begin reading?” My advise and what I read everyday (or most days. Remember we are human so we won’t read the Bible everyday but it’s important that we do it most days) is I start reading in Psalms. Psalms is probably my favorite book of the Bible because it’s David’s prayers to God. David has struggled with depression. In Psalms, David truly opens up about his struggling and I truly relate to what David writes. So start reading in Psalms, and also start reading in Matthew. Honestly, just pick a chapter of the Bible and just start there.
How do you pray everyday? You pray everyday just by throughout your day, talking with God. What’s important to remember in with spending time with God, it doesn’t matter how long you spend time with God. You can spend time with God for five minutes, but the important thing is the you are spending time with God. God doesn’t care how long of time you spend with Him, what He cares about is your heart and the fact that you are spending time with Him. Because God loves you (Psalm 136:1) and He just wants you to spend time with you. Just like any other relationship in your life, you have to spend time with someone to get to know them, it is the same thing with God.
So how do you worship God? There are many ways to worship God, one of my favorites is turning on Christian Worship Music and singing along to worship God. That is one way, another way to do a gratitude journal where everyday you write down things you are grateful and thankful for and then praising God for everything you wrote down.
Long story short, no matter what you are going through, you CAN and WILL get through this (Psalm 118:6). Why? Because you always have God on your side, who will always be there for you and always help you (Psalm 121:1-2). So run to Jesus! (By reading His word, worshiping Him, and praying to Him.) He can’t wait to see you and comfort you (Isaiah 49:13).
Prayer:
Dear God,
I pray that as I run to you by seeking you through reading your word, worshiping you, and praying to you that you come and help me. Please bless me with everything I need to be able to face the storm I am going through. Lord, I ask that as I seek you that I grow to build a strong relationship with you because I love you and want to be close to you. I am running to you Lord and I pray that you open your arms wide, love, and accept me. I thank you for the cross and for Jesus who died for our sins. I thank you for your grace, love, and mercy. I praise you because you are a good Father.
I thank you for all my many blessings and for Your Son.
In Jesus’s name, I pray, Amen!
Thank you so much for reading! I love you all and hopefully I will be able to post again soon💗💜 I love you all💗💜
