One Serving of Fullbuster Headcanons comin right up boss

Doesn't seem much like it but he is a bit of a jewellery guy. He almost never takes off his necklace or bracelet and he has a bunch of different chains to clip onto his pants. He might toss on a ring or 2 if he's feeling extra fancy that day and his ears are pierced but only at the top, so when he wears a pair absolutely no one can tell unless he brushes his hair back.

Not necessarily one for gossip, he just happens to be friends with people who love to gossip (Cana, Loke, Lucy) so he always just seems to know things even if he doesn't particularly care to know.

His wardrobe consists of a lotta plain looking clothing. Basic t-shirts and jeans that he pairs with jackets. It's largely due to the fact that he keeps losing clothes so its cheaper to just buy a bunch of plain tees and junk in bulk to save him the stress of tryna replace nicer clothes down the line.

His shoes though? That's a completely different story. He will spend on shoes like his life depends on it. He's always dripped out his fuckin mind when it comes onto shoes. He's the guy with the uncreased Js, the perfect Tims, the spotless boots. He's the freak with a huge wall of boots and sneakers that he sits down and cleans with a toothbrush.

Has an almost perfect photographic memory which is great for when he needs to make replicas of items for missions or ice replicas or himself or others.

Used to smoke a fair bit but quit as time went on. He'll still pop a cigarette every now and then when he's particularly stressed though.

Outside of the team missions he gets reached out to a lot to do ice sculptures for fancy events and such. Even though the people are way too snooty for his taste sometimes (or they keep tryna flirt with him, someone save him please) its good money and he loves to be able to flex his art skills when he can't normally on faster paced jobs.

Fucking loves junk food. The greasier and messier the better. He cooks most of his own meals but he absolutely will not pass up the opportunity for something that could probably clog his heart.

Probably spoils Wendy the most out of everyone. He always goes out of his way to do a special lil treat for her (make little ice trinkets for eg.) or get something for her when he's out and about.

Fluent in both fioran and the main language in Iceburg but still has that lil brain stall when he can't remember a word despite living in fiore for the majority of his life at this point.

Gray is the only one in the team to have a key to Lucys apartment

like an actual, physical key

she went through the trouble of copying one for him even though she knew he could make his own whenever he wants

it was a very important moment in their friendship

Lucy will back him up in a lie on instinct

wont ask questions, just does it

(this has gotten them in trouble multiple times)

if one of them hates someone, the other will also, regardless of reasoning

bonding over mutual hatred is their love language

if one threatens the other they will respond with some variation of “promises, promises”, “kinky”, or “oh, please do”

they love flirting with each other in public

theyre both very pretty and they know it, and they will use it to their advantage

Random Gratsu hc’s

Job dates. Training dates. they’ve probably had like 3 real dates not counting anniversaries

Grays childhood nickname for Natsu was Ashes, it was one of the first he called him and probs the only one that wasn’t driven as an insult.

he stopped calling him that at some point in their early teens, but he accidentally let it slip post forming the team and Natsu wouldnt respond to anything else from him for like a week straight

Gray has chronic pain, and he will drape himself over Natsu when it gets bad bc hes a human heating pad. Natsu takes it in stride even if hes having a conversation with someone

If Natsu gets too flustered (or turned on, or angry) his temperature will rise a lot, and since Gray runs cold their first kiss (and plenty after) created light steam

its happened during most of their firsts as a couple and it always makes Gray laugh which in turn causes Natsu even more embarrassment which creates more steam

its a vicious cycle

Gray fell first, Natsu fell harder

Gray isnt bad at flirting per se, hes just awkward ans gets too embarrassed with it. He prefers to ‘flirt’ with actions (looking him up and down, gifts, being touchy)

Natsu unintentionally flirts, hes not the type to hold back and says what he means. So he ends up giving the most genuine, love struck compliments known to man and he doesn’t even realize.

However, his deep hidden knowledge of actual flirting comes out when they’re fighting

Even though they argue constantly they have a rule against going to bed angry that they follow religiously, and if that means they don’t sleep for days on end sometimes thats nobody’s business but theirs.

When they started dating the original plan was to wait to tell people, but Natsu, who was genuinely vibrating with excitement and a need to tell everyone, broke within the first week

(what he doesnt know is Gray actually broke first, telling Cana the day of the first date (He needed moral support and shes had to listen to him moon over him for years! she deserved to know!))

Not that it really mattered, half the guild thought they were dating already

There was no formal announcement, they just started making out in the guild and that was that

ironically, the guildmates closest to them were the ones that had no clue and were surprised. And the ones that werent that close went on abt how ‘it was so obvious’ and ‘how could you not know?’

Once the shock and awe died down, ppl started panicking trying to figure out who to give the shovel talk to

baseline; it was very eventful

Before they started dating every now and then you could catch Gray looking in pure awe at Natsu when hes beating the shit out of someone

He doesnt even try to hide it now, even if hes the one Natsus fighting

They dont actually know how they started dating. one minute they were fighting and the next they were making out, two days later they were on a date in a restaurant way too fancy for them. and that was that

Gray has used Natsu as a human lighter so many times over the years its likely he doesnt even carry one any more

Natsu will eat the flame if Gray tries to use one till he asks him

Gray:

One of the coolest representations of ice powers imo. Maker Magic allows its user to create anything out of one material and Gray’s is ice. It’s a magic that takes a surprising amount of creativity. He even freezes his own blood at one point. Additionally, he’s trained to be very used to the cold which is handy for his random stripping. He’s one of my favorite Fairy Tail characters and he at least deserves to win one round.
