realized i didn’t post art for like a year and a half so i’m finding old stuff to post now. my motw campaign has been over for ages now. but for a whole we were stuck in a time loop of the moments before the end of the world so that was awesome
[ID: several comic panels in shades of warm gray and bright red. Over several frames, a red fog rises from the ocean and envelopes people and cars. In the final image, a woman stands in her kitchen, red light streaming in from the windows as the room seems to be curling in around her. END ID]

Character optimization is in no way at odds with "roleplaying." For example, my character has picked the most effective character options available to him because I'm trying to embody his ideal of "doesn't want to die in a dungeon."

i love monks in dnd because the guy on the battlefield armed with only his fists doesn't seem very threatening until he starts sprinting toward you at 69 miles per hour

Day three: a rogue’s sword.
A rare masterwork weapon, this is a compact sword with an ornate hilt featuring a six-winged barn owl. It’s enchanted so that anyone cut with it - even the tiniest nick - cannot utter a sound for about 20 seconds. It’s been used in a number of high-profile assassinations and passed from rogue to rogue over the centuries (sometimes with the death of the incumbent user…)
