Did you see getty images saying Kate's announcement video might not be up to their standards? Is it just bc the trust is broken after the photo incident?

I don't think it's that big of a deal – and I think the people who think the video is AI are... probably in need of some professional help.

In light of the fact that the most recent handout they received from KP was pulled for doctoring, I reckon they were gonna slap a notice like that on anything that had been given to them by KP – regardless of its content.

My opinion is that the only thing the press has been "drumming up" is the guilt shaming of people making jokes about what's arguably been the biggest communications cock up in several decades by falsely insinuating these jokes had an ill Kate as the butt of them.

While I acknowledge that the UK ranks at the very top of the overwhelming amount of western countries whose publicly elected officials are not only perfectly satisfied with the genocide Israel is currently committing but also actively encourage repercussions against the tiny fraction of people in power who have recognised that Palestinians are currently being exterminated while their executioners are facing zero (0) repercussions, I think it's a bit of a stretch to say that William's comment was anywhere near impactful enough for anyone to want to "retaliate" against him.

Every year William finds a way to use someone to cover up for his mistakes or to somehow better his image be it calling his mother paranoid, nonstop leaking against Meg knowing she needed help, blaming anyone but himself for the disaster colonizer tour and now letting his wife with cancer take the blame and show up alone to tell her diagnosis to the world. I'll never understand how the stans romanticize his famous anger issue and act dense when everyone can see what an asshole he is. Also speedy recovery to her because cancer is fucking horrible and traumatizing. Also traumatizing to see Meg's traumas be derided but when you're black you learn to rely on few loved ones and march on I guess. Zero public or private support ever but she has the grace to wish this family well.

Yeah the lack of royals who can (or will) work with two out for serious health issues, and the King Constantine seating arrangements and it soon being overshadowed (the tabloids favorite word to use with a certain couple but certainly not with those who might deserve it in moments like this) made be realize once again “oh this family has lost the plot”.

My thoughts is 1.) I can't remember when I've last enjoyed twitter like I currently do. Like, I've been in a pretty bad place recently and I can't wait for Friday when my therapist asks me what's made me feel happy for the first time in weeks and I get to show her this:

And 2.) It is not lost on me how for GOD KNOWS which time, the W&K stans and their prejudice are caught in 4k again. NOW royals are entitled to privacy (something they still sneer at the Sussexes for wanting), NOW it's nORmAL to want to eNhAnCe photos (can't count the amount of times they've accused the Sussexes of doing just that – funny how only one couple has had numerous international news agencies RETRACT a photo because of manipulation 🥲), NOW a 42-year-old is a "young woman" (don't hate that ❤️) who is "being bullied" (but without fail every time Meghan opens her mouth, they have endless shit to spew about her being a gRoWn woman cOmPLaiNiNg – lest we forget when W&K stans dunked on her for writing an essay about her miscarriage 🤡).

As for the photo: I think the ridiculously obvious explanation is that they used a photo from November 2023. Nothing strange or new about that, they often use archive photos for occasions like that. Many royals do. Look at Vincent and Josephine's birthday photo this year. KP's problem is that they wanted the public to think it was a new photo to sate the obsession with wanting to see Kate post-surgery. So the doctoring (not made by Kate, let's just get that settled 🤣) wasn't about enhancements or wanting the kids to "look their best" but about changing bits and bobs of the clothing so people wouldn't notice it's an archive photo.

So now W&K are in a pickle because someone in their staff made up entirely of dingdongs has the photoshop skills of an earthworm. And everyone's like "just release the original!" But they can't because then people will know they were trying to make an old photo look recent which will only add to the "where tf is Kate?" frenzy. And in reality, Kate probably has her reasons for not wanting to go on camera right now which is so legitimate. Meanwhile William's little army of Eton yes-men – whose entire job description up until now has been "1. validate William, 2. throw the Sussexes under the bus" – are literally so inept at actual communications work that with every single move, they make KATE'S situation worse.
