Inj2 mobile sucks so much, it feels impossible to unlock a single character…

The shards system reminds me of marvel future fight, my beloved, but in mff there are a bunch of “basic” characters whose “shards” are so easy to get and you get all of them really quick. Mkm gives you a whole character at once and it’s hard to get diamonds, but you get the bronze and silver ones fast too, and even the golds come fast (I think I had all challenge ones before my hiatus, and I only missed one non challenge)

I am probably doing something wrong and I probably shouldn’t be spending my gems in the mk1!Scorpion pack (but! I am a mk fan! I can’t help it! I know he is a high rank character and a very new one and it’s unlikely I will get him, but-) but really, I am not getting shards of any type, not even the most basic low level ones, and they don’t come from the battles either, which is probably the desired behavior but it’s so annoying. This is probably the game in this genre that takes the longest to unlock a single character, among the ones I’ve played (and I play a good amount of it)

At least I get a good amount of gems for linking it to console. Mkm keeps showing me a banner for it but it won’t let me link, saying I already linked it - which I did, before my hiatus, but the game is not giving me anything. Though back when I linked it, the reward wasn’t daily souls, it was one diamond card, my first and for a long time only diamond heh

Overall, I’d say that despite its flaws mkm is still my favorite game of this genre, because as I said before, every character is a blorbo and I play these things to collect my blorbos. Mko still frustrates me a bit but it does have nice minor characters

Oh, right. Another annoying thing about inj2m is that I have to select auto fight at every single fight, which is just. Nooo. Do you think I want to tap the screen like a fool in these fights?? And it doesn’t have the option to fast forward. How cool this game thinks it is? And it doesn’t even give coins for daily missions

It’s literally the worst and I will probably drop it soon. Mkm and mko consume enough time on their own and if I want more I still have a bunch of marvel games downloaded anyway. I regret dropping mff after everything it did for me, 3 of my main blorbos (of a total of 4) are premium there, and despite that I managed to get all of them because that game actually loves me. Inj2m hates me and wants to see me crying and begging.

It’s worth it for Raiden showing appreciation for his champions. He speaks of them with such pride, which I don’t remember seeing before, but I’ve always known this was he truly felt

I’m also a big fan of his long-time hatred for Shang

But it’s mostly only lore dump for the game, which so far seems to be what happens when you put the second timeline in a blender (or simply want to have most characters stuck at the place they were in in the beginning, but making it look like it’s the middle)

mk1!Kuai beat Noob’s ass. I wonder how mk11!Kuai will feel about it. I am team “only I can beat my sibling’s ass” and I think this doesn’t include your alternate from another dimension

Noob recognized Kuai, but Kuai didn’t recognize Noob as Bi-Han. Noob was also very offended that Kuai was wearing “Shirai Ryu colors”

(Which is funny because mk1!Kuai doesn’t even know what a Shirai Ryu is yet)

I didn’t get to take the screenshots of the brothers’ encounter that I wanted :(

But I did get the best part of the Scorpions’ encounter:

((MK1!)Scorpion: They told me we could meet. But seeing you is worse than I imagined. An undead specter that wears a corrupted version of my mantle?!)

I didn’t write the first meeting of mk1!Kuai and mk11!Invasions!Hanzo in my fic, but this is basically where they are too. I’m still going to make them kiss
