Adrian knows how to sew and stitch. He isn’t the best, but he needs someone to fix his suit but he can’t let anyone know he’s vigilante. once you’re dating, he teaches you (if you already didn’t know) and you end up being better than him at fixing his suit

speaking of suits??? he always asks for your help to tie his tie if for some reason it’s needed to dress up. please imagine him in a suit and his little curls look so good and his glasses

Asking for help with your necklace and Adrian struggles for a few moments with his big fingers. Once he gets it, he presses a kiss to your cheek and neck as his hands snake around your waist

okay, they’re in Washington right?? ok, so when it gets cold, before you two leave the house he makes sure you’re all cozy in your coat/hoodie/cardigan. if you have to stand outside, he stands behind you and does the thing where they rub your arms to create friction

always gets you a drink from the gas station whenever he goes to fill up his car

depending on the day, you go visit adrian for his lunch break. you both just sit in the car, chatting and eating, sometimes a quickie. he loves it when you visit him at work

makes you cd mixtapes and scribbles really cheesy titles on the discs. ex: songs to eat to, songs to eat you out to, crashing your car because this mixtape because you can, taylor swifts underrated songs, tony hawk video game soundtrack but for you

he lets you put your cold feet on him in bed

a denier that fully believes he will never get sick. but when he gets sick you get to take care of him. cooking him soup, warm wash cloths, some of his favorite ice cream (he strikes me as a creamsicle type of guy).

makes the best grilled cheese.

he gets teary eyed when visiting animal shelters wishing he could take home all the animals. he blames it on allergies.

Always asks you to clean his glasses on your shirt because it is the ‘perfect cleaning material’.

I feel I should specify when I talk about the vast majority of Israelis supporting this genocide it's not to call for violence of them or even to demonise them. It's to call attention to Israel having a genocidal education system which dehumanises Palestinians from the moment Israelis start school. Ilan Pappé did a study in 1994 of the Israeli education system and raised the alarm that it would raise a generation who are even worse than those who first colonised Palestine in 1948. We're seeing the truth of that now.

I raise this point because we're seeing this attempt by politicians and the media to claim that it's just Netanyahu who is to blame for this genocide and not a systematic problem that requires boycotting, divestments and sanctions to push them to correct. This lie is being pushed because they do not want to change the status quo which allows for Israel to steal Palestinian land and homes and keep Palestinians under military occupation.

Do not forget about Palestinians on this Eid, do not forget about Gaza, do not forget about the lives taken and homes destroyed, do not forget about the joy and life so cruelly snatched from them.

Eid means to us what Christmas means to most of you. And they're spending it digging through rubble and locating bodies to burry.

They have no chocolates, no new clothes to wear, no homes to decorate, they lost loved ones which would gather together, no Eidi to give to children to make them happy, no mehndi, no jewelery, no new toys.

Do not forget about Palestine.

Keep boycotting for them, keep protesting for them, keep donating to the families through the link tree, keep buying e-sims for them, keep sharing the truth, keep exposing Israel for their consistent humanitarian crimes.

Remember the Palestinians, especially today, on Eid, an occasion of joy.

Bridge paragraphs: Include bridge paragraphs between scenes to provide a smooth transition. These paragraphs can briefly summarize the previous scene's events, set the scene for the upcoming events, or transition between different settings, characters, or points of view.

Change in tone or focus: Shift the tone or focus of the narrative to signal a change in pacing. For example, transition from a tense action scene to a quieter moment of reflection by shifting the narrative focus from external events to internal thoughts and emotions.

Utilise pacing within scenes: Even within a single scene, you can vary the pacing to create transitions. Start with a fast-paced opening to grab the reader's attention, then gradually slow down the pacing as you delve deeper into character interactions, dialogue, or introspection. Conversely, speed up the pacing to inject energy and excitement into slower scenes.

Symbolic transitions: Use symbolic elements within the narrative to signal transitions between pacing levels. For example, transition from a fast-paced scene set during a stormy night to a slow-paced scene set in the calm aftermath of the storm, mirroring the shift in pacing.

Foreshadowing: Use subtle foreshadowing in fast-paced scenes to hint at upcoming events or conflicts that will be explored in slower-paced scenes. This creates anticipation and helps to smoothly transition between different pacing levels by maintaining continuity in the narrative arc.

Character reactions: Show how characters react to the events of fast-paced scenes in the subsequent slower-paced scenes. Use their thoughts, emotions, and actions to provide insight into the impact of these events on the story and its characters, helping to bridge the transition between pacing levels.
