After the Sorting Ceremony, Professor Weasley had guided you through the knock to your house. You knew that this was all a dream and that you would go back to your real life.
However, when morning came, it all seemed that you were stuck in the Harry Potter world. You had no idea how you would go back to your old life and why you were here. So many questions and it seemed that you were all alone in this one before the trials would be started on your ancient magic journey.
You knew that you have to figure this out, but first, you needed to attend your classes firt and you knew that you would meet Sebastian.
After you had settled into your new house, you heard one of the student calling your name. ''You must be the new fifth year!'' A cheery voice called out as you walked out of your dormitory. You turned around and saw a small female brunette walking towards you. You guessed it must be Poppy Sweeting.
You knew about who Poppy was and she was your favorite character and you couldn't help but feel over protective over the small girl. ''Hi,'' You greeted her. ''I'm glad that we have a new hufflepuff, I hope that you're enjoying our common room,''
''I am,'' You chuckled. ''My name is Y/N L/N,'' You introduced yourself.
''Poppy Sweeting, I have a feeling that we're going to be close friends,'' She spoke. ''Professor Weasley had approached me to say that she's waiting for you outside,'' Poppy informed. ''Thank you Poppy, I'll go and see her,'' You replied.
''See you sometime!'' Poppy spoke before you said your goodbyes.
You walked out of the Hufflepuff common room and spotted Professor Weasley standing in front of the entrance. ''Good morning, I trust you'd ready for your first day at Hogwarts?''
''I've been dreaming of this day for a long time, can't believe I'm here,'' You stated. It was not a lie after all.
''Well, you are here, make the most of it, you only have one first day at Hogwarts,'' Professor Weasley spoke. ''Now, In light of your unique situation, joining us as a fifth-year, you'll need to catch up with your classmates, and not fall behind,'' She spoke with a stern voice.
''Especially as you'll be expected to complete your O.W.L.S at the end of the year,''
''O.W.L.S?''
''Yes, your Ordinary Wizarding Level exams, they will determine what type of career you can have when you leave here, after much discussion with the Headmaster and the Department of Magical Education at the Ministry, we've devised something extraordinary to ensure your progress,''
Professor Weasley then conjured a book. ''Here you are,'' She spoke and handed over the book to you.
The book then suddenly flipped open, revealing all the pages inside before falling back into your hands.
''What is it?'' You asked with curiosity. ''It is a wizard's fields guide, it will help you to keep track of what you're learning so that you master all that's expected of a fifth-year,'' Professor Weasley explained.
''You would be wise to take full advantage of this exceptionally valuable resource,''
''Thank you, professor, but what do you mean by it will keep track of what I'm learning?''
''Perhaps seeing it in action will answer any questions you may have, walk with me and we shall put it to test,'' Professor Weasley had given you a guide tour around Hogwarts and how to use the floo powder. You turn around and saw Professor Fig approaching the two of you.
''Speaking of the devil,'' You heard her mutter as you greet Professor Fig.
''Professor Fig, your ears must have burning,'' She spoke. ''Oh?'' Professor Fig questioned.
''Yes, you seem to have provided our new fifth-year with a solid foundation in the basics of spell-casting,'' Professor Weasley replied. ''Ah, I'm afraid I can't take all the credit there, Professor, they've a rare apitutde for magic, it seems,''
''Hmm, well, i'm just glad you both arrived in one piece, perfect good boats and carriages to Hogwarts and you chose to fly in the path of a dragon,'' Professor Weasley spoke and narrowed her eyes. ''I wouldn't say I chose the dragon's path Professor, rather, unfortunatley, it would seem that it chose us,''
''Very-well, enough chit-chat, I need to go get class myself,'' Professor Weasley dismissed us. ''Might I rely on you, Professor Fig, to explain the details of the Field Guide's map?''
''Of course,''
''And come to me after you've attended your classes, so you can have a trip to Hogsmeade to gather your supplies,'' Professor Weasley said as we said our goodbyes before I went to talk with Professor Fig. ''It's good to see you, professor,''
''And you, I was hoping our paths would cross today before you immersed yourself in studies,'' He spoke. ''Did I hear you masterfully evade Professor Weasley's interrogation regarding our late arrival?''
''I did try to evade her question, though I feel a little deceptive, I'm fairly certian she suspects that we're not being entirely forthcoming,'' I speak with guilt in my eyes. ''Yes, well, Professor Weasley is a brilliant, an astute witch, it was right to keep the details for now, we don't know where this path we've embarked upon will lead, it may reuire a bit more - flexibilty - with your time than she would approve of,''
''And she may feel obliged to share details with the headmaster that would be better left between us,''
''Understood, Professor,''
''Good, now, as capable as you are, I believe the ability you possess obliges you to be well-trained, happily, you have the benefit of an exceptionally skilled team of witches and wizards to guide you,''
''Now, sounds like you've quite a day ahead what with classes and a trip to Hogsmeade for supplies - including your own wand,'' You can't help but feel the excitment of the mention of going to Hogsmeade and getting your own wand.
''You'll enjoy Mr. Ollivander, he's an exceptional craftsman and a good friend, I shall reach out when I have more information about our mysterious locket, for now, focus on your classes, pay attention, more than your O.W.L.S may hinge on the magic you are able to master within these walls,''
You nodded and said your goodbyes to Professor Fig before you walked your first class of the day: Defense against the dark arts.
-
You knew that you would be meeting Sebastian there and you hoped that you would befriend him.
Walking into the class, I see already some students dueling against each other. I notice Leander Pewett and Sebastian fire spells against each other as Leander has his shield up before Sebastian broke it with his stupefy. ''Is that all you've got?'' You hear Sebastian mock Leander.
You turn around and saw the familiar brunette boy and you couldn't help but feel nervous. He looked even more handsome.
''Bombarda!'' Sebastain spoke as he reached his wand towards Leander as he had his shield to block his spell. You looked up as the spell hit the artefact on the ceiling and the head of the animal fell down. Before it could fall down on Leander, professor Hecat came in.
''Levioso!'' She chanted as the head from the dead animal floated up.
''Perhaps you'd be good enough to blast each other to pieces on your own time, I get new students every year but I only have one Hebridean Black skull,'' You look up at the balcony and saw an old woman with grey hair. ''It was a token from the Great Poacher Raid of 1878, no doubt you've heard of it,'' She spoke and walked down the stairs.
''Now, you may have be asking yourself how and old woman like me single-handedly took out the largest poacher ring in eastern Wales and lived to boast about it, knowledge,'' She spoke in a matter of a fact voice as I looked at the magic with amazement.
''To the wise, age matters very little,''
''Today, we will review a spell that has saved me from death at the hands of Dark Wizards more times than I care to remember: Levioso,''
''Levioso, a levitation charm?'' You heard Leander Pewett's whine in class. You wanted to roll your eyes at his complains. ''Levioso!'' Professor Hecat chanted, making Leander fly into the air. I can't help but letting out a small laugh at the sight of Leander flying in the air.
''A surprised opponent is a weak opponent, care to defend yourself, master Prewett? No?'' Professor Hecat questioned him. Leander looked at her with a bewilderment look on his face as Professor Hecat released him to stop him floating.
''One thing I've learned as an Unspeakable is the value of simplicity, especially in the heat of the battle, now, let's practise what we've just learned, starting something small,''
I walked back to my desk, practising my wand movement and the spell in front of me. ''Levioso!'' I enchanted, feeling the magic flow through me as I succeed to make the feather in front of me levitate. I feel a pair of eyes looking at me as I turn to see Sebastian catching my eyes.
I blush at the sudden contact and drift my eyes back as I didn't notice the smirk on his face before focusing back on class.
''Now, let's try something a little larger,'' Professor Hecat informed as she had seen us succeed on spell-casting Levioso. I look as Professor Hecat summoned the dummy in front of us as she moved the tables to the side. Professor Hecat gestured for me to demostrate as I look around the room nervously at the attention on me.
I met Sebastians eyes as he notices that I was nervous and send me an encouraging nod. ''Let us begin with basic cast,'' Professor Hecat instructed. I reached out my wand as I saw some red spark deflecting my spark. ''See how the dummy deflected your cast? This time, cast Levioso first, then the basic cast,'' She informed.
''Remember, a surprised opponent is a weak opponent, as Master Prewett so artfully helped me demostrate earlier,'' Professor Hecat spoke, sending some of the student into giggles.
''Levioso!'' I enchanted, reaching my wand to the dummy as the dummy floated into the air. ''Good! now the basic cast,'' I listened on Professor Hecat as I sent red spark towards the dummy as it bounced into the air.
''Well done!''
''Very good, but the best way to practise is by dueling,'' Professor Hecat spoke. I turn around and spot a familiar blonde boy standing next to Professor hecat. ''We'll start with you two,'' She spoke and I look to my left and see Sebastian standing next to me. I couldn't help but look surprised.
''Duelist, take your marks,'' Sebastian looks at me and send me a smile. ''Time for a proper Hogwarts welcome,'' I hear him comment and I chuckled under my breath. ''Let's see about that,'' I challenged him, making him raise his eyebrow at me.
''Don't get too cockey now, don't want to see you upset that you're about to lose,'' Sebastian teased me as we both walked so we faced in front of each other. ''Now, I want a fair duel using only Levioso, basic cast, and Protego,'' Professor Hecat warned us.
I look in surprise when i saw the familiar dueling pop form the ground and turned to look at Sebastian. ''Scared Sallow?'' I tease him as I pointed my wand towards him. ''You wish, darling,'' He teased and I ignored the feeling of my cheeks getting warm.
''You may begin,'' Professor Hecat instructed. Sebastian smirked at the affect he had on her. He took it as an advantage and casted Levioso, but I managed to use Protego just in time to dodge his spell.
''Levioso!'' I shouted, making him fly and used the basic cast on him. ''This can't be your first duel,'' You heard him say and grunted in pain when he fell on the ground.
''Let just say I'm a quick learner,'' I responded. ''Protego,'' I spoke, as I made an barrier around me.
''Levioso!'' Sebastian and I spoke in unison as I succeeded to block his spell. I used basic spell casting on him, knocking him as he fell back of the platform.
The class had ended and you saw Sebastian approaching you. ''Not bad for a beginner, you give as good as you get,'' He chuckled. ''Are you saying I caught you off guard, Sallow?'' I teased him. ''Perhaps,'' He responded with a grin.
''I would like to have a word with you, after class,'' Professor Hecat spoke to me, interrupting me and Sebastian's conversation. ''It was fun meeting you,'' I told him as he nodded. ''The same, hope we will meet each other again soon,'' Sebastian replied, saying goodbye before I walked to Professor Hecat.
-
After learning another spell from Professor Hecat and myself expected that she wanted me to practise on my dueling. Luckily, I already knew who to ask about the dueling club. Before that, I needed to join my classes and I met Natsai Onai. The gazelle female was just like the game and I hoped to prevent her from sacrificing herself from the Cruciatous curse.
I chose myself that Sebastian would cast the curse on me because I couldn't bear the thought of using on Sebastian. However, the pain was something I would not to experience again.
After a day of classes, the day seemed to end and I was back in the common room, in my dorm. I felt sad that this was all a dream and that I have to go back to my real world tomorrow. You couldn't help yourself but remember the small moments when you met Sebastian for the first time and you hoped that you could save his life from being sent away to azkaban or in fact you would maybe save lives.

All you knew that you woke up and felt disoriented. You heard your mother's voice coming downstairs and calling your name to wake up. You thought it was your real mother before you had woken up, got changed, and then walked downstairs. Your first reaction was that you were shocked.
But not because you didn't recognise your real mother, but the way she used her wand in her hand and used magic. You almost passed out and thought it wasn't real until when she said that you were almost too late for the carrige that would take you to Hogwarts.
You didn't question it, since your mother would think that you had loosen your mind and before you knew it, you were waiting outside for the carriage and Professor Fig would accompany you to Hogwarts.
It felt real. Almost too real and it made you shudder with fear, knowing how things and event would turn out if you didn't act quickly.
You waited with your bags in front of your apartment and saw a carriage approaching you. Your eyes widened in surprise when you realized who it was. You recognized professor Fig and you knew he was not from your world.
''This is impossible....'' You whispered to yourself. ''I must be dreaming,'' You muttered as he approached you. ''Ah! it appears we are almost ready to depart,'' You heard him speak to you and you almost wanted to approach your soon to be mentor a hug. He was one of your favorites person in the game and you knew that he was soon going do die.
You took in your surroundings and you knew that scenario. It was the beginning of the game you knew very well and you knew that your journey to Hogwarts was not going to be a pleasant one. ''It's a pity we didn't have a bit more time to spend on spell-casting,'' He spoke.
''I persume you've been practising the spells we worked on?'' He asked you. You nodded. ''I have, professor,'' You lied. You actually didn't know if you had practised with the spells since everything felt unknown at the moment.
''Well, I'm quite sure I've never seen anyone take so quickly to a second-hand wand,'' He complimented. You glanced at your wand in your hand and remembered that scene very well. ''You'll be a force to be reckoned with when you get your own,''
''Thank you, Professor Fig, I appreciate your working with me before the term begin-'' You were about to say before you noticed a familiar figure that had apparated in front of the two of you.
You felt your stomach turn into a twist.
''Oh! Eleazar!'' Mr. Osric exclaimed when he saw Professor Fig. ''George, glad my rather cryptic description of our location did not thwart your finding us,'' Professor Fig told him. ''I've apparated to more vaguely defined destinations than this,'' Mr. Osric informed and chuckled.
''Though, I confess I may have miscalculated slightly on my first try, gave quite the fright to some theatre-goers in the West end,''
''It's been much too long, when I recieved your owl, I must say I-''
''Best not to speak here, Elzear,hm?'' He stopped him before he could finish his sentence. ''Of course, why don't we speak en route to Hogwarts? We have a start-of-term and a Sorting Hat to get to,'' Professor Fig replied and looked between you and Mr. Osric.
''Wonderful idea, as long as your young charge here doesn't mind me tagging along,'' Mr. Osric asked you. ''Not at all, sir,'' You told him.
''After you,'' Professor spoke and gestured towards you. You entered into the carriage as the two of them followed after. You knew that Mr. Osric would die on your way towards Hogwarts and the dragon and about the portkey would be on your hands. You decided not to stop it since all you knew that it felt like a dream, that you were still dreaming, but you still felt like his blood was on your hands.
Mr. Osric and Professor Fig began to catch up and you looked out from the window to spot the dragon. It was all too foggy and you couldn't see anything so it was pointless to keep an eye. Your eyes drifted back when you noticed that Mr. Osric had asked about you.
''A new student,'' Professor told him. ''Y/N L/N, pleasure to meet you, sir,'' You introduced yourself with a smile. ''New?'' Mr. Osric asked with a surprised expression. ''Yes, sir, I'm starting school as a fifth-year,'' You explained.
''How extraordinary,'' He spoke. ''It is indeed, none of the faculty has ever heard of anyone being admitted to Hogwarts so late,'' Professor Fig informed.
''Nor have I,''
''Of course, as the other fifth-years will have been honing their magical skills for four years now, the Headmaster asked if I could get our new student up to speed a bit before the terms begins,'' Professor Fig told Mr. Osric.
''Well, you couldn't have asked for a better mentor, Professor Fig is not only an exceptional teacher, he is also a remarkably intuitive - and gifted - wizard,'' Mr. Osric spoke with a glint in his eyes. You smiled softly when you heard Professor Fig's friend complimented him.
He was indeed, you thought.
''Mr. Osric is prone to flattery, I daresay it's one of the reasons he's risen so far at the Ministry,'' Professor Fig spoke.
''Have you seen this?'' Mr. Odric asked and pulled out a newspaper in front of you. You noticed the person and knew who it was. The goblin rebellion and Ranrok. You felt a slight anger when you saw his face appear in front of you, knowing why he must be stopped.
''I have, opinions differ as to how great a threat Ranrok really is,'' Professor Fig spoke. ''Although, I've yet to convince my colleagues at the Ministry, I believe he is a significant threat,''
''And it was your wife, Eleazar, who alerted me to his activities months ago'' Mr. Osric informed. ''Miriam, how?''
''She wrote to me about Ranrok before she died, wondering what the Ministry knew about his activities,'' Mr. Osric explained with a sympathetic expression. ''Before I could respond, I recieved this, it was the last thing she sent me, Eleazar,'' He replied and pulled something out of his pocket.
It caught your attention since you recognised the portkey in his hands and the symbol but also the strange glow. The glow was exactly like from the games would show up. ''It came via her owl, but with no correspondence, I can only assume-''
''That she had to get rid of it quickly to keep it safe,'' Professor Fig spoke as Mr. Osric handed the objec in his hands. ''Persumably from Ranrok,'' Mr. Osric said.
''I cannot open it, whatever magic protects this is powerful indeed,'' He spoke. ''It looks liek goblin metal,'' Professor Fig spoke as he examined the Portkey.
''That symbol-''
''What's that glow?'' You spoke. ''I don't see a glow,''
''Neither does I,'' You looked between the two men as Professor Fig handed you over the Portkey. The lid suddenly opened up and revealed a key. ''Merlin's beard, how did you-?''
You were about to grab the key before Professor Fig stopped you.
''Wait! We don't know what-'' Professor Fig spoke and grabbed the Portkey. The dragon suddenly attacked the carrige and split it in half and Mr. Osric was long gone before that. It felt too real, but how brains play a trick on us. You knew that would happen and you tried not to panic.
''Hang on!'' Professor Fig yelled. You suddenly flew out of the carriage and you saw the key flying beneath. You tried to get to the key before it could fall. ''Grab my hand!'' Professor Fig shouted as you grabbed his hand tightly and before you knew it, you apparated.
The next thing you knew, you felt like you were going to throw up.
You realized you were in the cave of the beginning in the game and I knew how this was going to be further.
-
After finding Professor Fig and defeating the Pensives, you found yourself back at Hogwarts. ''Are you alright?'' He asked you with concern. ''I've never seen so powerful a goblin, he seemed totally unaffected by my magic,''
''It seems like we're back where we're supposed to be,'' You spoke and looked at your surroundings. You spotted the familiar castle up ahead and that brought you a smile on your face.
''You're right,'' Professor Fig chuckled. ''It seems those who set up the pensive, the locket, and the path to both wanted someone with your ability, to end up here,''
''Come, we have a sorting ceremony to get to,'' He spoke. You followed after him and towards to Hogwarts.
As you walked inside of the familiar corridors that you had seen in the movies and in the game, you couldn't help but gasp in surprise when you saw the hallways.
''Remarkable, isn't it?'' You heard Professor Fig question next to you as you took in the castle. It was every harry potter fan that had wished for ever since to see the real castle in front of their eyes.
You watched as you stood at the entrance to the great hall as you saw Professor Fig facing you. ''Oh good, we haven't missed the Sorting ceremony,'' He spoke with a relieved voice after he peeked through the doors. ''I'm no expert, but-'' Professor Fig stated before he used his wand to change your clothes into the same first year clothing that they had in the movies before they got sorted into their houses.
''That seems more appropiate, now, I need to study this locket as soon as I can, but first I must contact the Ministry, they need to know what happened to George and be warned of Ranrok, for the moment, I ask that you keep all that's happened this evening between you and me,''
''Of course,'' You told him.
''Thank you,''
''Ready for the Sorting Ceremony?'' He asked and looked at you with excitement, ''Yes,'' You spoke. Professor Fig opened the door to the great hall and you saw the other students gathered around as well by their houses at the dinner table.
You spotted your headmaster, Black and Professor Weasley with the Sorting Hat in her hand. Headmaster Black noticed Professor Fig at the door.
You heard Professor Fig mutter something about Black before he approached the two of you. ''Fig,'' He spoke and you rose your eyebrow towards the man.
You understood why the other Professor didn't like their headmaster that much.
''Nice of you to join us, the Sorting Sediment is over,'' He replied.
''There were complications,'' Fig replied. ''Complications?'' Black repeated and looked at him. ''It seems the goblin is-''
''Goblins! No time for rumors, Fig, and I'm rapidly losing whatever patience I had left,'' Black spoke before his eyes drifted towards to you.
''If you're lucky, we might still be able to get you sorted this evening,'' He spoke and walked back to the great hall. ''I'll be in touch,'' Professor Fig spoke as you nodded before walking inside. You couldn't help but look marvelled at the sight.
It was just like the movies when Harry, Hermione, and Ron had walked for the first time and the ceiling was written in the stars. You looked at your surroundings, spotting a familiar Slytherin brunette boy who talked with a blonde one. You thought it must've been Ominis and Sebastian.
As you walked down, Sebastian could feel someone was watching him and noticed your eyes on him. While you locked your eyes with him, you sent a small smile before turning back to the Sorting Hat.
''Professor Weasley!'' Headmaster Black called after her. ''We've one more to be sorted,''
''Welcome, you're just in time, have a seat,'' She spoke as you sat on the chair in the middle. You took a deep breath when you felt the hat on top of your head.
You were nervous and always wondered in what house you belonged to. Sure, you've taking dozens of quizzes and even in your game got you placed in Hufflepuff. ''Ah yes,'' You heard a voice inside of your head.
''A bit older than the others aren't you? You come here with preferences and preconceptions, certian expectations,'' The sorting hat told you.
''I know where to put you, better be Hufflepuff!'' You smiled as you felt the hat was removed from your head. You wondered how this was going to be and you knew that this was just all a dream before you were going back to the real world.
At least that what you hoped.

-
You felt like you were drowning before you jolted awake.
You choke on the liquid in your mouth before bracing yourself as you blink rapidly. You feel that you couldn't breathe and everything is just a blur. All you know is that you're scared; terrified even before you tries to get a sense of your surroundings.
You notice that you're moving and are inside of a strange box. You frown and tries to think of something; something more of how you got here or your name but nothing pops up. Everything is blank and you try to remember but nothing.
A loud whirring sound appear and you winced in alarm in fear. You tried to calm yourself down before you noticed that other things are with you. You hear a squeling noise but you are too distracted by the box you are and the fear only appears again.
Then the elevator stopped; making you trip and lose your balance before letting out a curse. You let yourself brace for whatever is coming but nothing happens for a while.
It is just silent before the door upside of the box opens making you wince in surprise at the bright sunlight direct to your eyes. You raise your hands to cover as you hear multiplie voices mimx into another.
''You've got to be kidding me,''
You lowered your hand as you squint your eyes and you saw figures appear. When you do, your terror intensifies because you realize that there isn't a single girl between them. It was boys that you didn't recognize
Then, another voice appears. ''It's a...''
''A girl?''
''They sent us a girl up here?'' A stern voice appeared, making you snap your terrified eyes towards the boy in front of you. Two boys that stand near the front, a blond headed boy and another one who has the same hair but is only much taller and bigger too. By the sight of it, you felt discomfort by his stern eyes but something about him was familiar.
''Gally, calm down,'' the blond boy next to him replied as they jumped down in front of you. The box shakes slightly as you let out a whimper in fear before taking a step back inside.
''Hey,'' The tall boy calls out with a soft voice but sound more confused than anything. ''Hey, it's-''
''Don't touch me,'' You shrieked, slapped his hand away. He pulls away back in response, lips parting in surprise.
The tall boy in front of you hardens his expression. ''Listen, I'm trying-''
''Stay back,'' You warned him. ''Fine, if you wanna stay here, fine by me,'' The tall boy snarled before climbing up. The blond boy was still there in front of you, having no choice to leave you down there.
It was better to stay down there in the box than going up with boys who you don't recognize.
-
A week has passed and you were still in the box.
All alone and was still terrified to even go out. However, it was one person you might have warmed up to was Chuck. Chuck knew you since it was all the boys who talked about these days and his curiosity ran through his mind when he got signed up to bring some food to you.
It took some time for you to adjust or even trust him and later on, Newt came every once in a while to check up on you.
''Hey, she-bean,'' A familiar voice erupted from above, making you look up and saw Newt. ''Got you some food,'' Newt spoke. He looked down and saw you sitting in a corner with your legs up as you wrapped your arms around them for comfort.
''Listen, I know that you are scared right now but all we want to do is help you,'' Newt replied, hoping for an answer from you but all he got was silence.
Letting out a sigh, Newt walked away, yet leaving you all alone.
-
Two weeks has passed by and you were still in the box, refusing to go outside. Alby and the others began to worry, wondering if you were gonna stay inside forever. The box hasn't gone down ever since you decided to stay in there and they got concerned.
It was nighttime and the gladers was preparing to go to sleep before it was Gally's turn to check on the she-bean before he went to bed.
Alby had designed almost everybody in the glade to check on the she-bean every once in a while to see if that you were still alive. ''Hey, She-bean, got you some food,'' Gally spoke as he had the torch in his other left hand.
He saw you look up and stared at him. ''But you have to get up from the box,'' He responded. He waited a minute to have an response and was about to turn away before he heard your voice.
''I thought you wanted me to stay in here,'' By his surprise, he turned around slowly and met your eyes. ''Didn't meant it, literally,'' Gally responded.
He didn't know why but he felt a familiar feeling when he talked to you. As if that the two of you have met before you were put in the glade. ''Listen, I know that we're not on the right terms, but everybody in here is worried,'' Gally spoke.
''Including me,'' Gally said. ''Then why am I here?'' You questioned.
''It's complicated,'' Gally responded as he heard you scoff. ''But I can tell you everything if you come outside,'' Pausing, he lifted the doors and reached out his hand. You stared and debating if you could trust him and you couldn't explain the feeling but it felt oddly natural when you grabbed his hand.
''Now, do you know your name?'' Gally asked.
''Y/N,'' You told him.
''Well, Y/N, welcome to the glade,''

A YEAR LATER
You're younger, younger than you've been or that you remember being. The memory or the dream you are having it is almost blurry that you can't grasp. There' here but aren't and you can only see some blurry faces that your mind doesn't recognise.
Your head turns and you see a woman with kind eyes looking down at you. ''Hold your brother hand tightly,'' You hear her speak and you turn around and see a young boy next to you grab your hand tightly.
You don't know what's going on and there's people around you as you and your brother tries to walk through the crowd with the woman in front of you as he held your hand. Then, you're pulled to a stop and you see your mother crouching before you as she began to start crying.
''What's happening, mommy?'' Your younger self ask.
''This is goodbye,'' You heard her ask before you felt her stroke your cheek and then look at your brother.
''Take care of your sister,'' And before you know it, your eyes snapped out of the dream. Panic flooded through your body and the first thing you notice is how quiet it is. All you could hear was your breathing and how hard your heart was pounding.
You tried to take a deep breath before you looked around and noticed that you were in the homestead in your hammock.
They're just dreams, you keep telling yourself.
After calming down, it was then you noticed that you were alone.
Cursing to yourself, you push yourself out of the makeshift bed before searching for the others. You know it's still early already, given that the sunrise hasn't completly risen yet, so you make your way over to the kitchen where you know that the rest of the Gladers will be eating breakfast.
The moment you are in the kitchen, you spot Newt in the far corner and you quickly make your way over before sending Fry a smile and taking the plate he had prepared.
You accept it before taking a seat in front of Newt. ''Good morning, Y/N,'' Newt greeted before taking another bite from his food and didn't look up. ''Tell me why again Clint didn't wake me up today?'' You asked before placing your plate down at the table.
''Said that you needed another day's rest,'' Newt responded. ''That's a load of shuck,''
''Who does that shank think he is? Telling me when or when I can't-''
''Actually, he's right,'' Newt cuts you off and looked up from his plate.
''Gally saw you tossing and turning all night, Y/N, and after what happened-'' Newt trailed off, shaking his head before grabbing back his fork. ''Anyway, doesn't matter, Clint told me that you can step in later for the day,'' Newt informed.
You huffed and decided not to debate against Newt's words before taking the seat in front of him. Breakfast passed quickly, and you walked over to the Medhut where you saw Clint and Jeff taking care some of the slicers.
''Seriously, guys?'' You spoke, crossing your arms as you sent a smile to Ken while Jeff wrapped the bandage around his arm before sending him off back to work. ''Sorry, Y/N, but it was Gally's orders,'' Clint replied with a shrug.
''Since when do we listen to Gally?'' You huffed before you walked over to Clint and helped him to sort out the medical suppliers. ''Since when you're his girlfriend,'' Jeff remarked, earning a slap on the arm from Clint.
''Dude!''
''What? It's true, Gally's over heels for her, even surprised when he would only listen to her sometimes,'' Jeff replied with an offended expression.
''Alright, he's not my boyfriend and besides, Gally? We're just friends,'' You shrugged it off.
''Whatever you say,'' Jeff replied as you saw the smirk forming on his face. You shook your head with a smile before going back to work.
Gally walked inside of the Medhut at some point, to see if you were okay after last night. Clint and Jeff had already gone off somewhere, leaving the two of you alone. ''Hey,'' Gally spoke as you turned around and saw him. ''Hey,'' You greeted him with a smile.
''Heard from Newt today that you were going back to work,'' Gally spoke and looked at you. ''Yeah, after you told him that I needed another day's rest,'' You replied and looked at him with a raised eyebrow.
''Wanna tell me about that?'' Gally sighed. ''Listen, after everything that happened last time-''
''Nothing is going to happen, when am I gonna have you guys to trust me again?'' You begged him. ''Listen, I'm not going to be a runner, not now or ever again, I promised you that,'' You replied. Gally was about to say something before a familiar ringing echoed.
Your eyes widened as you and Gally met each other's eyes before walking outside towards the familiar sound.
A new Greenie had arrived as you found yourself with others. You sometimes would wonder if this one would be a girl, though, you doubted it.
The box had arrived and there was a moment of silence, just distant murmures and then the box slides open. As you'd expected, it was another boy. He held his hand above his eyes, blocking from the sunlight and as usual, the boy looked terrified.
You could hear some of the Gladers around you laughing at the poor boy and you couldn't help but roll your eyes. You didn't know what was so funny since they've been through the same and you remembered that they hadn't laughed at you like that from the first time you got sent up.
Two boys stepped forward, grabbing the wired gate and pulled it open as the others stepped back to help out. As per usual, Gally stepped forward, jumping down until he was in the box with the newbie, who had pushed himself as far away from Gally only stepped toward him.
''Day one, Greenie, rise and shine,'' You winced as he pulled the boy up with some help from the others. You sighed and shook your head with disppointment as the boy laid on the middle of the crowd. ''Kid looks like a slopper to me,''
''I could use some help in the kitchen,'' Frypan spoke and grinned down at the newbie. You rolled your eyes for a moment as you met his eyes for a moment. His gaze paused on you and you sure it was because you were the only girl between the sixty of boys. But then, his gaze flooded with panic and for a moment, you remembered your dream.
The Greenie stood up abruptly, shoving his hand through the crowd and yourself before he began to run. ''Hey, we got a runner!'' You heard Zart speak with sarcasm but you couldn't help but agree.
''Yeah, look at him go!''
The Greenie began to trip, flipping over himself as he face-planted into the grass. You winced at the sudden action while everybody laughed. You let out a small smile and shook your head.
''Woah!''
''Watch it there, Greenie!'' Whoops echoed but suddenly died down when the Greenie realized his surroundings. The terror that had enver left his face increased as he slowly pushed himself to his feet.
You looked at the Gladers, waiting for someone to do something. Help him, or maybe throw him in the slammer since you knew that all of you had been through the same. Just been as scared as he was right now. You shook your head with disappointment at the boys before taking a step forward before Gally stepped to block you.
''I know, in the slammer, just me a second,'' You told him. Gally looked at you, debating for a moment he stepped aside. You approached him, trying to send a comforting smile.
''Welcome to the Glade, I'm Y/N,''

Always noticed you | Nikolai Lantsov x Starkov! reader x Kaz Brekker | PART TWO
Summary: after running away from Nikolai, the crows got a message to find you and not long after, you got to meet dirtyhands where they convince you later to help them and find the sword from the neshyenyer while kaz brekker is not trying to fall for you.
Warnings: violence and angst, mention of Kaz's ptsd and phobia.
A/N: here's part two and part one can you read it here!
Tumblr media
Not long after the crows recieved the message from the prince and the Sun Summoner of finding you, the crows didn't waste a second to begin their search. However, Kaz had not the slightest idea of finding you for the first time in his life, but to their luck, he found you.
Nikolai had begged them to find you, knowing that if people knew that the Sun Summoner's sister was outside far from the grand palace and out or reach from their protection, he didn't want to think that would happen if you were in danger because of him.
Tolya and Tamar had offered to go and find the crows while looking for you and the sword of neshyenyer.
After packing your things in the spinning wheel and then leaving off without leaving a note, you found yourself in Shu Han. You knew that your mother was from Shu Han however, you got a little information from your parents when you were younger. You didn't knew about much of your past ever since you and Alina was sent to the orphange.
Shu Han was a beautiful place. A place filled with color and different food that you enjoyed during your time. It was at that point you realized that you missed venturing out the unknown while you tried to survive for your sister.
You knew that if you wasn't there, you wouldn't bothering them and the people wouldn't know that you are the Sun Summoner's sister, but you were wrong.
After strolling in the market, you found yourself running from your life after hearing that they wanted you to get through the Sun Summoner and the prince.
You were panting hard, trying to dodge the crowd at the market while not trying to bump into their stuff while trying to find a way out. You didn't know where to go next and you were terrified.
The next thing you knew, you were in a dead end. You sighed before turning around slowly and saw the men surrounding you. You, however, raised your fist and prepared for a fight as you tried to remembered the leassons that Zoya gave you back at the little palace.
However, a knife was suddenly thrown behind their backs and you saw some of them collapsing to their knees and to the ground. You furrowed your brows when you saw a familiar face approaching and knocked the man out with his cane.
''Huh, on point, actually,'' You breathed out and gestured toward the men.
Kaz only gave you an amusing expression as he always did. ''Did you really expect us to be that low?''
''You are gangsters and from what I recall the last time we met each other, you are the brains for the crows and the one who kidnapped me and my sister,'' You remarked as Inej, Jesper, and two familiar faces appeared but you didn't knew the second female next to them. You assumed that she was also a heartrender because she took down one of the men. You ignored how Kaz rolled his eyes toward your remark.
''Nice throw,'' You commented to Inej, making her smile at you before you. Upon noticing, the gang surrounded you in the dead end, making you thinking that they were there to bring you back to the spinning wheel.
''Great, here to kidnap me again?'' You asked and turned to Kaz. ''They want you back, I'm only here to do the job,'' Kaz responded, making you sigh. Of course, you had expected that Nikolai would beg the crows to bring you back to the spinning wheel before the general found you.
You knew that you could take care of yourself and weren't to let him take you back. ''Then, good luck of catching me again,'' You spoke, turning on your heel before Kaz placed his cane in front of you to stop you.
''I wouldn't do that if I were you,'' Zoya announced herself, making you roll your eyes at her.
''Wait,'' You heard his response and you turned to look at him. ''If you're not going back, then you're going with us,'' He responded and you looked at him with a frown. ''We're looking for the sword of neshyenyer, and we need your help,'' Inej spoke and you scoffed.
''With what? With my useless talent?'' You questioned.
''You're not useless, you are a map maker, aren't you?'' Kaz asked.
''I was,'' You corrected him. ''Then you know the story behind it and the information we could gather,'' Kaz replied.
''So, are you in?'' You heard Jesper asking you, making you sigh heavily and drop your shoulders in defeat.
''Yes,'' You replied and rolled your eyes as Kaz smirked slighty and dropped his cane.
-
Kaz Brekker was not the one who believed in saints of love. No saint was ever there for him during the fire pox and when Jordie died and he stopped believed in love at the moment when he fell for Inej.
Falling in love was a dangerous to him and if people knew (more like his enemies) his weakest spot, his work would be destroyed. He had tried to build something ever since Kaz Brekker was born since Kaz Rietveld wasn't capable of doing it.
When he met you, it was an odd time. He had seen you, even when Alina was put out first and he noticed that you were always in the background when no one else noticed. He noticed the smallest thing when he first saw you back at the little palace when they announced the Sun Summoner existed.
After all, to him, you were easier to read.
He saw something back there in your eyes, the longing love for the general, the sneaky glances between you went unnoticed by everyone, everyone except for him. The pain in your eyes could be seen by him and he knew at the moment you loved the general, but the general had already chosen your sister.
He could somewhat relate because your story was the same as he had with Inej. The longing of someone was crawling deep inside of him but when he confessed his love for her, Inej didn't felt the same.
The guilt of oversharing his feelings for someone that didn't share the same suffocated him and it took months for him to get over it.
That was the last time when he saw you after seperating through the Fold. He had asked you to come with them back to Ketterdam, but you said to him maybe another time when times were calmer and when Alina had taken the Fold, then maybe, you would be there with him.
And when he had gotten the note from the prince to find you, he couldn't help but to feel excitment to see you again after being seperated for months.
To him, you weren't useless. He saw something in you that many didn't see clearly. You were intelligent and knowing the routes of the maps was making it easier to them to find the sword of Neshyenyer.
All of you headed back to a cafe in the market as Kaz had informed the plan. ''The Neshyenyer? Sankta Neyar's blade?'' Nina asked with disbelief on her face as she looked at the group.
You were also surprised by the news as soon Kaz had read the letter that Nikolai had sent him. You figured it out that Nikolai had also written to him that they would find you before anyone else did. ''So, you haven't forgotten what you were taught at the little palace,'' Zoya remarked and looked at Nina.
''Just your loyalty to Ravka,''
''Ravka? Or Kirigan? It didn't take him destroying a city for me to question my loyalty,'' Nina replied. ''So, now that we all know that you two have history,'' Jesper cut in and looked between them.
''What's the payment for this job?'' Jesper asked.
''Name your price,'' Tolya responded. ''It matters that much,''
''Obviously,'' You responded and rolled your eyes and crossed your arms above your chest. ''Is that the Lantsov crest?'' Wylan asked and looked at the letter that Nina held. ''You know because it's hideous,'' You remarked as Zoya looked at you with a deadpanned look.
''Prince Nikolai requested your services to bring back her,'' Tolya remarked and pointed at you. ''And to find the sword and deliver the sword to Alina Starkov in East Ravka,''
''She's returned?'' Nina asked.
''As has the Darkling,'' You spoke. ''With an indestructible army of shadow monsters,'' You informed them.
''Then what are you doing here instead to be with your sister?'' Nina asked you with a concerned expression.
''It's complicated,''
-
Not long after Zoya and Tolya tried to bargain their price to the Crows and they walked in seperated ways to prepare to find the sword. You trailed over your glass at the bar, lost in your thoughts as you didn't hear the footsteps from behind.
''I'm not going back, not after we have found the sword if that's what you're thinking,'' You spoke when you noticed Zoya stood next to you, signalling the bartender to give her the same drink as you had.
''If that's what you're thinking, you know I'm not going easy on you then,'' Zoya commented. ''Whatever happened between you and prince Nikolai, you need to let it go,'' Zoya responded.
''I know how hard it has been, but life's at are stake here,''
''You may think that I'm harsh, but face it, Y/N, he loved you, maybe he still does, but at one point, we all need to pick sides at the end,''
''I'm not taking anyone sides here,'' You argued. ''Then you have to at one point, this is war, get your head together,'' Zoya replied.
''You're right,'' You replied with a sulking expression as Zoya looked at you with wide eyes. ''Whatever happened between me and Nikolai, it's not worth it,'' You responded and turned to face her.
''So, you're over it?'' Zoya asked with an eyebrow raised.
''I know it's going to be hard, but i try not to care,'' You responded before she shrugged her shoulders and took the alcohol and held it up. You grabbed your glass and clinked it before you drank the alcohol burning in your throat.
Not far from the bar, Kaz had his eyes lingering on you from the distance as he promised to himself that he would try to be the better man but he can't do that when the demons inside of his head.

Climbing over the wall | Nikolai Lantsov x reader
Summary: You haven't met your bethroted yet and from what you've been knowing by your overthinking, you didn't waste a second to come up with an escape plan that didn't go that well.
Requested? Yes by @lexilulove: Love your writing and excited requests are open!! I saw this on insta the other day and now I want nothing more than a Nikolai based around this idea. With Nikolai’s love interest constantly sneaking away during events and parties. Dealer’s choice if it’s an established relationship of it Nikolai charms the shy girl and the relationship grows.
A/N: ngl, took this inspiration from queen charlotte at the attempt of climbing the wall while george is behind her like ??? and that got me thinking about y/n and nik.
Warnings: painfully longing eyes behind Nik and the reader.
Tumblr media
The king was late.
And you were growing nervous and thought of every possible way to escape the room.
You didn't enjoyed parties, in fact, you hated them. You didn't like to be the center of attention and it was even worse when you haven't met your bethroted yet.
You was a child from a duke and your father wanted you to marry since he worried of you that you would end up alone knowing that you were too shy to even make social intercation. You had been like that ever since you was a child and when your mother had passed away. Always so quiet and enjoyed your own company.
So, when the rumor had spoken that the king of Ravka was looking for a wife to marry, let alone to rule a whole country, your father had suggested you to him.
You had been hesitant but you wanted to please your father and said yes to the arranged marrige. You haven't met the king personally, but from what you've been told by the maidens and by Genya, Zoya, and Alina, that he's kind and handsome.
You've heard some stories and the rumors about the youngest prince that he was a bastard, but you didn't care that he was one. All you cared that if he was going to treat you right as a husband.
Genya and Zoya had invited everyone to the ball to celebrate your marriage and of course, Nikolai himself was late. Zoya had already gone off to scold Nikolai for being late while Genya was somewhere in the room with Alina, leaving you all alone full with nerves.
You scanned the room and saw an opportunity to escape the ball while nobody was noticing that you were gone. You placed your glass of champange down as everybody continued to chat with each other and the music played loud enough that nobody saw you slipping away.
You walked through the gardens but stopped when you saw a wall in front of you. You huffed with annoyance as you knew that you had to climb the wall over.
But you knew that it would be a struggle because of your dress that Zoya had picked for you and she would kill you for destroying the dress. ''Ah, what the hell,'' You muttered to yourself as you embraced that Zoya will kill you for ruining the dress.
You grabbed one of the branches from the tree on the wall and tried to climb up. Upon hearing, you heard footsteps from behind. ''Milady, do you need help of an assistance of some kind?'' You heard a male voice coming from behind you.
''I am, uh, quite fine, thank you,'' You spoke and didn't look behind and tried to figure out a way to climb up higher. ''You can go back inside and wait with all the other gwakes, '' You dismissed and didn't think much of it since you thought it was one of the maidens that had found you.
''I will, but first, I'm curious, what are you doing?''
''Nothing,'' You spoke and huffed.
''You're doing something,'' The man replied with a deadpanned look.
''I am not,'' You spoke. ''You are,''
''I am not,'' You argued and let out a sigh and looked at the tree in front of you. ''If you must know, I'm trying to ascertian the best way to climb over the garden wall,'' You responded and gestured toward the tree.
''Climb? Whatever for?''
''Because I think he may be a beast,'' You replied and placed your hands over your hips. ''A beast?''
''Or a troll,'' You responded. ''A troll?'' The man replied with an offended expression.
''Who are we discussing?'' The man asked. ''Oh, that is impertinent, none of your buisness,'' You replied and glanced back at him before looking around.
''The king,'' You answered after a short silence. ''From what I've heard: that he's handsome, kind, but some people won't even speak of him,'' You informed.
''And that makes you think that the king is a troll or a beast?'' The man asked. ''Well, I haven't seen him yet,'' You answered. ''And I'm overthinking things,'' You spoke.
''Ah, understood,'' He replied. ''You know, if I grab there,'' You said and pointed toward the garden wall. ''Perhaps you could assist me by lifting up,'' You told him and began to climb again.
''Uh, one question, you do not like beast or trolls? What he looks like matters?'' He asked you.
''I do not care what he looks like, what I do not like is not knowing, now, here, just take a hold here with a lift, I believe that I can make it over the garden wall,'' You said and went back to the garden wall and gestured him to help you.
''You want me to lift you over the wall so you may can escape?''
''That is what I said, yes,'' You replied and rolled your eyes. ''People will notice you are missing will they not?''
''Oh, please, they won't,'' You assured him and waved him off. ''Now, if you please, I just need a little help, come, make haste,''
''I have no absolutely no intention of helping you,'' He responded, making you pause before turning to him. ''I am in lady in distress, you refuse to help a lady in distress?'' You asked him with an offended expression.
''I refuse when that lady in distress is trying to go over the wall so that she does not want to marry me,'' He replied making you look at him with wide eyes and shock. Nikolai only found it amusing when he saw the reaction in your face.
''Hello, Y/n,'' He greeted you with a smile. ''I'm Nikolai,'' He introduced himself and you looked at him. ''Please accept my apology, if I had known that you were you...''
''You would have what?'' Nikolai interrupted you. ''Not told me that you were trying to escape?'' He asked with an amusing expression.
''Well, yes, I mean, I do apologize, moi tsar,'' You spoke quietly and looked down at the ground.
''Just call me Nik,'' Nikolai responded and looked at you with a kind smile. ''The king situation, it towers over us, accident of birth on my part, but I thought maybe perhaps, as my wife, you could ignore it, and I could be just Nik to you,'' He spoke.
''That was of course, before I found out that you do not want to be married to me,''
''I did not say that,'' You looked at him with an offended expression.
''Oh you did,'' He responded. ''I did not,'' You argued. ''You did!''
''It is not,'' You argued and paused. ''I do not know you,'' You replied and sighed. ''I do not know you either, except that you are terrible at climbing a wall,'' Nikolai teased and you saw the smile in the corner of his lips.
''You try climbing a wall in all of this,'' You gestured towards your dress that now was ruined for the ball and huffed at him.
''I was told that you were late,'' You replied and looked at him. ''Yes, my apologies for that, king duties you know,'' Nikolai informed and you nodded slightly.
''There you are!'' You heard Zoya's voice exclaim from behind as the two of you turned around. ''What have you done to your dress!'' You heard Zoya exclaim angirly. ''Zoya, calm down,'' You replied.
''She was trying to climb over the wall,'' Nikolai responded and you looked at him with a glare.
''Over the wall?'' Zoya questioned with a confused look. ''That's is not important, now we have to change you into a new dress,'' Zoya grunted with annoyance and dragged you from Nikolai.
''You will pay for this,'' You mouthed over to him as he looked back at you with a smile as Zoya dragged you away.

Second in command | Nikolai Lantsov x Starkov! Reader
Summary: After being tested in Keramzin, you found yourself in the little palace and after joining the second army, you got captured by the grisha hunters that led you into a terrible fate. However, after getting rescued by the hands of dirtyhands of himself, Kaz Brekker saw you as an great investment for his team. After reuniting with Alina and Mal throughout the kidnapping and going on your seperating your ways, you meet the prince himself and joins him on his ship and as the third charm, Alina and Mal joins your ship after running away.
Requested? yes: I was wondering if i could req a Nikolai lantsov x Starkov! reader? Where she (as alina's older sister) and Alina somehow got separated after getting captured by grisha hunters, but she escaped and eventually went on to become a crow. They finally reunite when Alina & Mal running away from Bohdan, unexpectedly sees her in Sturmhond's crew, and especially how close Sturmhond seems to be with Reader.
A/N: lol, my goal is to fill tumblr with Nikolai Lantsov fics.
Warnings: ptsd, violence, blood and gore, mentions of scars.
he seriously taking my breath away in this gif
Tumblr media
You could remember when you were a child, your life got taken away abruptly. You never had a choice to taking care of your younger sister back at the orphange and had to have your head straight. That all changed when the Grisha people came to test you.
You had hoped that Alina would come with you and as well Mal. You could remember the screams that left your lips as they dragged you away to the little palace.
It was then you hated the place. You hated how the people looked at you because you were an outsider. At first, you had a hard time fitting into the place. You couldn't control your powers, let alone to use your power to create a wave with your powers.
It took time and when you finally mastered your powers, the general had assigned you to the second army. You had made a few friends there, back at the little palace and Zoya was one of them.
Zoya was a popular girl there and you didn't knew why the two of you matched so well. Zoya thought that you were an odd, quiet girl who stood out in the background and often thought to herself why she tried hard to befriend you.
You had asked the same questions for years and the two of you befriended each other. The two of you got assigned by the general since the two of you were a trusted companion during the sea and since Zoya was an excellent squaller.
The general had assigned the two of you to rescue some Grisha that had been caught by grisha hunters, however, you got seperated at the sea with yoru crew, losing Zoya in the process and then getting captured by the Grisha hunters that they considered themselves as the drüskelles.
You met a heartrender there at the same ship, lovely woman that one and the one thing you liked Nina Zenik was with her quick wits. You couldn't use your powers since they were being tied up, your hands were no use.
The ship settled down in Ketterdam and somehow, you got lucky when you could escape from the ship. You was about to move toward Nina to help her out of her chains, but she shook her head. ''Go,'' Nina replied, making you frown at her.
''What about you?'' You asked her. ''I'll be fine, go when you have the chance,''
''I will to leave you behind,'' You argued. ''But you have to,'' Nina replied. ''Go before they come back,''
''How will I ever repay you?'' You asked. ''Spare me a waffle if I survive,'' Nina responded with a smile. You shook your head before you sprinted out of the ship.
You could hear one of the Drüskelle shouting in Fjerdan as you ran through the city of Ketterdam. Upon stumbling, you saw a crow in front of you before you saw the Grisha hunters coming towards you.
They approached you as they tried to fight you, however, you waved your hands in motion as the water from the fountains moved towards them, knocking them down.
One of them stood up from the ground and was about to attack you again before a knife was thrown into their chest. You looked at the man in shock before turning around and saw a female and two males behind you.
''I suggest you will leave this place before we do something that you will regret,'' The man in the hat spoke with a dangerous low tone and looked at the Grisha hunters.
''She belongs to us, she's a witch that has escaped,'' One of the Grisha hunters sneered and looked at you wiht disgust. ''She does no longer belong to you, leave, or we will do something that you will regret,''
''Literally,'' The man next to the hat replied and showed the guns in his hands. The Grisha hunters huffed and didn't say a word before they left the place.
And now, three years later, here you were with the dangerous criminals in Ketterdam as a crow. Looking back, you often thought to yourself if you missed your old home, and it had changed over the years since the crows was your family.
You were lucky that day after Kaz and the others had set you free from the Grisha hunters. However, you wanted to do something so much more than running in a club with gangs. You longed for the adventure and after hearing a rumor about a pirate named Sturmhond and his crew being in Ketterdam for contacts and recruiting vaulable asset to his crew.
After saying goodbye to the crows and making your way to contact Sturmhond, you were overjoyed that he recieved it and arranged a meeting.
Upon first glance, you never expected him to be soo... young for being a pirate. It was an odd thing, that he was a little too young and almost too handsome, you wanted to think that.
Most pirates that you've seen when you got captured and during your time at the sea, however Sturmhond was different. You didn't thought much of it.
''So, Y/N,'' Sturmhond replied and looked at the letter in his hand where you had wrote him the message that you were interested of joining his crew.
''What makes you so valuable to be with our crew?'' He questioned, leaned into the chair and sent you a flirtatious grin. ''I'm a tidemaker, a powerful one,'' You spoke, ignoring the comment he made. The only downside was that he was a flirtatious pirate.
You watched him as he looked at you with a thoughtful look before shrugging his shoulders. ''Alright, you are accepted into our crew, Tamar will show your room,'' He spoke and you looked at him with a deadpanned expression.
''I'm sorry, is that just it? No other questions or...?'' You trailed off as he chuckled. ''No, I trust you enough with your beauty,'' Sturmhond remarked.
And that's how it has been ever since you met Sturmhond. He was reckless, funny, caring, and most of all, he was very flirty with you.
Only you and you noticed it. The whole crew noticed it that Sturmhond had fallen in love with you and he was sure that he would make it that everybody will know it.
It bothered you, in fact, you were annoyed by his comments but deep down, it made your heart warm.
After hearing that you got new arrivals when your crew had prepared for your next journey during the night, you were shocked to see your sister and Mal again after so many years.
You didn't spoke much of your family and Sturmhond knew that was a sensitive spot for you. You spoke so highly of your sister sometimes throwing in comments like: ''Alina would've like this'' or that ''Mal was the protective one over you'' and he finally got to see how they acted and know.
You two didn't got the time to speak or catching up since Alina and Mal would drag you with them and catch everything up, but they didn't miss the longing eyes in Sturmhond. They had always a suspicion that Sturmhond had feelings for you, but never spoke it about it.
After crossing the Fold and Alina's attempt to getting it down, you never expected to find about who Sturmhond really was. After knowing in for four years and trusting him, you got your answers right when he revealed to be the prince of Ravka.
You thought all of it was a joke when Alina had punched him in the face and wanted to confront him. Alina had walked away after that and cooled off somewhere with Mal as you walked inside of his tent.
''Can we speak?'' You asked as he turned around. It all was so different now when he wasn't wearing his regular clothes.
''Yeah, I think we need to,'' Sturmhond - or Nikolai replied. ''What do I call you now? Sturmhond or Moi Tsar?'' You asked uncertianly as you heard him chuckle.
''Just call me Nikolai,'' He responded with a soft smile. ''I know I haven't been truthful about my identity and I understand that you don't want to be in my second anymore,''
''You still want me to be it? Your second?'' You asked him with wide eyes.
''Of course? You've always been my second, Y/N,'' Nikolai replied and began to step closer to you. ''You're the one who belongs to my heart,''
''So, how much this change, about us?'' You asked quietly and looked down. You felt him lift up your chin to meet his eyes.
''Nothing,'' He replied and flickered down at your lips. ''Really?'' You questioned with wide eyes.
''Really, really,'' He responded as a small smile formed on his lips and then leaned down to meet yours.
