College classes have been in for a little over a month now. I’m still working out my schedule, but I’ve been enjoying learning :)
Also, happy October! 🎃

I’m back! I finished up classes (woo!) and I’m officially enjoying summer. I’ve been spending my days mostly reading and listening to psychology podcasts.

It’s been a tough week, but I’m so close to finishing my classes. I should be finished with everything tomorrow, which is actually earlier than my deadline! I have one more exam, and I’m going to write an essay on a William Wordsworth poem tomorrow, though I haven’t decided which one yet.
During a break today, I reorganized my bookshelf by size!
📚 Currently reading The Return of the King by J.R.R. Tolkien

I finished my Art History Exam today! Although I loved the class, I’m glad I’m finished. I’m so tired now.
I’ve also been working on my language journal for Danish. I apologize if any of the words or grammar are wrong, please don’t make fun of it LOL! I still have a lot to learn! :) most of the sentences are just about random things, since my vocabulary is pretty limited, but I have fun!

An old study photo, but a new sunset picture! I had a meeting with my writer’s club today, and I worked on some Latin, Economics, Literature, and Danish!
I hope everyone has a great weekend!

I had a pretty productive day today! I think I’m a bit hard on myself when it comes to how much work I think I should do, and I need to work on that. I did get a lot done!
I also went for a walk at one of my favorite places :) I haven’t had much time to do things for fun lately because of exams coming up, so it was nice to get outside.
Also, here’s the milk tea recipe I used, for those who wanted it. It was a bit sweet for me, so I’d add less condensed milk. :)

I bought Special Topics in Calamity Physics by Marisha Pessl because I saw it in a list of dark academia books and it sounded like something I’d enjoy.
My Danish-English dictionary also arrived! I’ve been looking forward to having it. I think it’ll help me a lot in learning Danish with my language journal.
I also finally found a milk tea recipe I like! I find that a lot of others don’t taste like teas from shops, but I like this one!
I had my very last meeting for Art History today! It feels bittersweet.

I finished an Economics project and I’ve been practicing lots of Danish! I started a language journal, so I can learn more at a faster pace.
I bought three new plants to fill some empty shelves I have! I love them!
Now I’m having a cozy night. We made hot chocolate and I’m studying with lofi playing in the background. :)

I definitely didn’t get much done today, oops. I’ll be making up for it this weekend.
But here’s some pictures of my copy of Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. I (over) annotated it for my class, but I just love the way books look when they’re covered in notes.
I bought a jadeite glass for my desk to hold my pens and pencils, and it matches all my green stuff! I also found this pretty clock at a local thrift store! :)
