I Would Never Participate In Bold Shows Or Bigg Boss Says Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi Fame Erica Fernandes
Actress Erica Fernandes, who is all set to reappear in her character as Sonakshi Bose in the third season of the successful TV series ‘Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi,’ lately loosened up on not essaying bold content for TV, why she accepted to do the second season of the similar show, her view on doing reality series and much more.
The actress said, “I am not comfortable doing bold shows and content, and I am quite open about it. I have been offered quite a few shows until now. There have been shows that came my way and had bold content, and I have said no to them because sometimes I feel they are forcefully added to the show to sell. And I need logic to whatever I am doing and whatever is happening in the show. If it is genuinely required, then that is a different thing, and I might have to mentally prepare for it. That is a very different thing altogether. But first I need to know why it is required in the show. So if no one is able to give me that answer, then I don’t think I will ever do it.”
In conversation with beautiful TV actress Erica Fernandes she revealed that the role of Sonakshi is very close to her heart, and has made her reach where she is today in her career. She says, “Sonakshi’s character has always been very very dear to me because it was the first time that I played that type of character onscreen. The role has gotten me where I am today. If it wasn’t for the character that I played, I don’t think I would be where I am today. It does hold a special place in my heart, and that’s one of the reasons I said yes for the third season.”
The TV actress revealed saying, “A lot of people till date have so many good things about the show, they keep watching it. Even I watched the show again. I watched the second season, and it just brings back special memories. And when I watched the show it was so refreshing. I have never seen a show like that on Indian television, and it is so real and relatable. And at the same time, it is so encouraging and empowering. It makes you feel oh you are part of that family.”
Erica also spoke about why she won’t ever do the controversial reality show Bigg Boss, “I am open to reality shows, and I have been offered that too, but sadly I have not been able to be a part of it. Khatron Ke Khiladi I would love to do it. But not Bigg Boss because it is not my cup of tea at all. That’s something I would never do. I don’t even watch it so let aside doing it,” shared Fernandes.

The Family Man 2 Trailer Release: Manoj Bajpayee Is Boarded Between Samantha Akkineni’s Lethal Plans And Saving His Marriage
The Family Man 2 trailer is out for the people, and the wait was nothing but just waiting for the fruit of karma. Manoj Bajpayee reclaims his character, Srikant Tiwari, in the upcoming season of The Family Man 2.
However, Manoj Bajpayee has had a job change and is no more an Intelligence officer. Moreover, he is also going to a marriage adviser with his spouse to save his marriage. The first few ticks of the show’s trailer are all about Srikant trying his best to fit in his life encounters FOMO, which is fear of missing out on something or someone.
Before his job change, Srikant was an intelligence officer of the National Intelligence Agency, like his fans had seen him in the first season of the web drama.
A phone call with his ex-colleague recalled him of the excitement, action, and thrill he was missing out on being part of his, and shortly, we see him wielding a case of terrorism in Chennai.
On the other hand, Samantha enacts the character of Raji, a Tamilian from Sri Lanka and his new nemesis. The Family Man 2 will also mark Samantha’s debut on digital media.
Released in 2019, The Family Man was the action-drama series rotating around a middle-class man, Srikant, who works for the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The show is directed and filmed by Raj and DK, the web series examines Srikant’s tightrope walk as he thumps a balance amid his undercover, low-paying job and being a husband and father.
The part 2 division was deemed to dock online in February this year. However, days ahead of the listed release of the trailer, the series was delayed. It is now set for a June 4 release.
The new division of the show will also feature Seema Biswas, Sharad Kelkar, Darshan Kumar, Sunny Hinduja, Shahab Ali, Shreya Dhanwantary, Mahek Thakur, and Vedant Sinha in important roles.

Money Heist 5 Teaser Out: Popular Drama From Netflix Money Heist’s Finale Season Release Date Out!
The first teaser of Money Heist’s season 5 is finally out. The worldwide famed heisters are all ready and set to give a definition to the rules and regulations of the game as Tokyo had announced – ‘The important moments have no atheist march’.
The Ace actor, Alvaro Morte, who essays the character of Professor in the web series, took to his Instagram account on Monday and announced the final season’s release. He and Netflix both shared the teaser of Money Heist season 5 with the fans across the globe that were eagerly waiting for the season.
Last year in the month of August, the fifth season of the show started getting shot, giant OTT platform Netflix & the cast of the show had acknowledged that ‘the heist comes to an end.’ Netflix also cleared that season 5th will be the final segment of the web show. The show’s last season is shot in beautiful locations like Denmark, Portugal, and even beautiful Spain.
Moreover, the teaser is perfection in itself, showing emotions and rides of each heister from the show; the cat and dog fight between the cops and heisters in the Bank of Spain replicated in the teaser makes the fans even more excited for the release of the show.
One of the most famous non-English web series globally, Money Heist’s final season will be releasing in two parts, one in September and another in December. Each of which will have 5 episodes. The dates are September 3 and the other will be releasing on 3rd December.
Speaking about the same the Money Heist series (aka La Casa De Papel) director, Álex Pina said in a statement, “When we began to write Part 5 in the midst of the pandemic, we felt that we had to change what was expected from the ten-episode season and used every tool we could to create the sensation of a season finale or series finale in the first volume itself. We decided to work in an extremely aggressive genre, putting The Gang on the ropes. In volume 2, we focus more on the emotional situation of the characters. It is a journey across their sentimental map that connects us directly to their departure.”

99 Songs By AR Rahman Will Shortly Be Premiering On OTT Giant Platform – Netflix
Soon after its theatrical release in the month of April, AR Rahman’s 99 Songs is ready for its release on the OTT platform. The movie is AR Rahman’s debut project as a co-writer as well as a film producer. The film starring Ehan Bhatt, Edilsy Vargas, Lisa Ray, and popular Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala will be streaming on OTT platforms Netflix as well as Jio Cinema from May 21. The film, which hit the big screens on April 16 this year, will be available for streaming in three languages: Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.
The Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman shared the news with his fans and friends taking to his social media profile. He mentioned, “Here’s the announcement that will lighten your mood. #99Songs will stream on Netflix. #99songsthemovieonOTT @NetflixIndia @arrahman @jiostudios @YM_Movies @idealentinc @JioCinema #StaySafe @vishweshk @itsEhanBhat #EdilsyVargas @sonymusicindia @SonyMusicSouth”

The movie’s story is about a boy Jay who is focused on his singing career and is in love with a girl named Sophie. Things go haywire after the girl’s father challenged his music acumen.
Speaking of which, Debut producer AR Rahman said in a statement, “As part of my production company, YM Movies, I’m happy to collaborate with Jio Studios in bringing together this experiential movie. 99 Songs is about one man’s struggle against the old and the new world. And the antidote is music. It’s my pleasure to introduce the film’s director Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy and a talented cast comprising Ehan Bhat and Edilsy Vargas. It was a great experience working with icons like Manisha Koirala and Lisa Ray, and music legends Ranjit Barot and Rahul Ram.”

Sardar Ka Grandson Movie Review: The Movie Depicts The Value Memories Can Hold – Arjun Kapoor Dedicates The Movie To His Grandmother
Arjun Kapoor’s latest film Sardar Ka Grandson premiered on Netflix today, and the actor took to his Instagram to dedicate the flick to his grandmother. Arjun Kapoor is essaying the role of a grandson who is on a difficult journey to fulfil the last wish of his ailing grandmother.
The story revolves around the 90-year old Sardar Kaur, essayed by Neena Gupta, who belonged to Lahore but had to move to Amritsar during the blood-drenched partition of India. Although she is living in Amritsar with her sons and grandchildren and has championed a family business, cycling on this side of the border, she still has one part of her heart in her house in Lahore.
Arjun Kapoor plays a grandson, Amreek from Amrika, who has landed in Amritsar to appease his grandmother to stop insisting on visiting her Lahore’s house since she has a tumour. However, on hearing his grandmother’s side, Amreek has a startling realization that the hurt he has been experiencing for a few days after breaking up with his fiancée (the role essayed by Rakul Preet Singh) was what Sardar had lived with for 70 years. Amreek, then decides to fulfil his grandmother’s wish to relive her memories in her house in Lahore.
If Sardar can’t travel to her house in Lahore, can the house be brought to Sardar? This is the question Amreek Singh asks himself when his 90-year-old grandmother expresses a desire to visit Pakistan after 70 years and see the house she built in the 1940s with her husband, Gursher Singh.
In its light moments, Amreek’s cousin Lovely attempts to score a goal with his high-end, ‘The future is Lovely’ campaign for their family business of Champion Cycles and to impress Sardar Kaur to become the CEO of the company as per her will. But it is juxtaposed with a heartbreaking Partition track when Amreek and Sardar Kaur both are seen crossing the India-Pakistan border. While Amreek crossed over to Lahore to fulfil his grandma’s cherished dream, the scene mingles with a young Sardar fleeing in the opposite direction into the safety of Amritsar after her husband got murdered in the riots of Lahore.
The movie has been written & directed by the writer-director Kaashvie Nair, who told the media that the idea of writing this story came to her when she watched an Al Jazeera documentary about an old man revisiting his home in Pakistan after a gap of 70 years.
The film desires to dispense a message as transparent as glass, i.e. “love conquers all.” It is shown when even after so many obstacles created by the Government officials (esp. Mayor of Lahore) and the police officials, Amreek succeeds to take his grandma’s home across the border with the help of the locals. He also got the support of the builder, Mr Khan, who was there to demolish the building and reconstruct the same.
The “moral of the story” is articulated thus by Amreek while addressing the Mayor of Lahore as the film draws to a close: “Nafrat se zyaada taqat na, pyaar mein hoti hai. Tum chaahe jaise bhi ho, par tumhare mulq ke log na, bahut acchhe hain.” (Love is more powerful than hate. Despite the sort of person that you are, the people of your country are very nice.)
Sardar Ka Grandson felt like an Aesop’s fable for a kindergarten child with a “moral of the story” spelt out in the end. However, it also has some bubbly feel in its dialogues, like when the young tea-seller in Lahore (Mir Mohammed Mehroos) telling off Amreek that chaiwalas in your country aren’t given due recognition.
The movie is simplistic, basic and the emotions are well-fitted. The feeling of goodness persists even if it takes on petty ego battles on both sides of the border. The resistance from the Mayor of Lahore (Kumud Mishra) for permission to take the house across the border since he has a history with Sardar also doesn’t really whip up bitter tension.
Rakul Preet provides the mandatory dose of romance in a Bollywood film while being a flagbearer of empowered women. But it’s the feisty Sardar Kaur from Lahore, who’s the true gender champ of the story.
