This is something that I've been struggling with as a chronologically gifted person. At some point I realized that before I got married I had not really had consistent sex with the same person for longer than like a few months. So let me just say, that continuing to have sex with the same person over and over is VERY different from having sex with new people regularly.
Like my husband would want to know something about how I wanted the sex to be or what I liked, and honestly I just would not know. Or he would be doing things and I would have to be like, actually I don't really like that. And we realized he was working off something I said ten years ago about a dude I slept with for like a year, but that preference really no longer holds up. We are both working with OLD DATA, and it's been a learning experience to try and figure out what I want sexually NOW from someone I have sex with literally all the time.
Anyway, it was a wild realization and I don't hear much about happily married people long-term sex. I really did not have a ton of long term partners before getting married, so it's like all new and different to me.
characters in their 30's and older exploring their sexuality and discovering themselves beyond their teens and twenties is so important and beautiful and worth telling

It makes me insane that this man exists, that through some alchemy of make up and angle and lighting SPN was able create this incomparable beauty and then just broadcast it on the CW in a some dumb show about monsters like JA's face wasn't a revelation from the God's themselves.

OK, this is all great and makes total sense. Now my problem is, what about the tiny man ass??????
As a straight woman, I have seen the naked ass of many straight men, and they are almost always tiny and flat and sad (but like in a cute way? My desires are apparently all wrong because I like a dumb little man butt, which apparently would not be good at providing me with meat...)
What about these men with the tiny flat asses? I want to know what they were selected for that resulted in these tiny little asses.
Does anyone have this knowledge?
why do we have butt cheeks i dont understand why did we evolve this way
what use do butt cheeks have

I saw this and it reminded me about how angry Dean was after Cas died and how much he hated Jack. And look...I just. I just want to say that my mother recently died very unexpectedly. It was such a shock. A huge shock, like a black hole of grief opened up inside me and I HATE every single other old person that's not dead.
HOW DARE THEY STILL BE FUCKING ALIVE WHEN SHE IS NOT???!?!?!?!!?
So, I guess I just wanted to say that I get Dean's arc here on a much deeper level than I used to.

In the Pilot, while Dean's being interrogated in the sherrif's office, he asks, "We talkin', like, misdemeanor kind of trouble or, uh, squeal like a pig trouble?"
Initially, I thought it was a mixed metaphor between "bleed like a stuck pig" and "be a squealer" indicating Dean's need to 'fess up, but what he's actually referencing is the incredibly disturbing rape scene from the 1972 film Deliverance in which one of the main characters is forced to "squeal like a pig" during his SA. The question remains, why is Dean referencing that scene now?
My first impulse is to say Dean's merely asking, "how metaphorically screwed am I here?" But the reference just seems too targeted for that.
Another easy reading is to assume Dean's making a prison rape allusion as a way of asking "Are we talking jail time, here?" But that doesn't quite fit, either. Deliverance takes place in the backwoods of Georgia, and Dean'd go for the much more obvious Shawshank if he wanted to talk about prison.
There's something about Dean referencing Deliverance in this particular circumstance: a rural town in boondocks, USA, judged by a similar, small-town sherrif like we see at the end of the movie. In that something, there's also Dean implicitly asking "Am I about to get literally and figuratively fucked?"
There's been a lot of discourse about Dean and survival sex work and convincing meta about where the show might have been hinting to just that. I think this bit of dialog can be read as a reference within a reference, a moment in which Dean, through sexully-charged language (especially language that sets up a clear power dichotomy between him and the sherrif), introduces the possibility of sexual exchange. Beyond that, I think it was the writers introducing that possibility to us viewers. After all, I don't think it was coincidence just a few frames before was Dean forced over the hood of a car by two other cops. There's something predatory about it, and Dean's language is deliberate.
All I'll say is that this certainly isn't the first time Dean's been picked up by police, and he's never had Sam make a fake 911 call to bail him out of it before.

I just really love this take on Sam. "Also There." Hit the nail right on the head!
I’m back for 11x07 and it’s a Donna Hanscum episode (excellent news) and also a Sam and clowns episode (don’t care).
What I will say is that the writers do like to keep giving Sam insane prophetic visions that somehow do not ultimately affect or alter him in any way. At this stage Dean is crawling through each episode, torn to pieces by all of the shit he’s been through, and then Sam is just Also There, totally fine, not bothered at all. Story of the show, I guess.
