What do you mean DVD menu of Wall-E??

You can search up the video if you're curious, but it's literally this close up of wall-e's eyes like this. They'd dilate robotically (i usually find close up eyes dilating really creepy), and there's some ominous music playing the background. Not to mention it focused mainly on the visuals of the Earth advertising going to space part of the movie, which always made me feel dread watching because as a kid I always feared of apocalypses.

Seeing the menu now its not NEARLY as creepy as I remember, but there is still that shimmer of foreboding I still feel watching it. I remember when I was 4 or 5 my dad putting on the movie in his room for him before going off to use the bathroom. Except he only put in the dvd– he didn't actually PLAY the movie. I had watched the menu for a couple of seconds before I got so scared I hid under the covers and waited for my dad to come back.

Honestly the same kind of applies to the magic mirror from Snow White. I used to watch it with my dad on a projector screen and whoop de doo whatdya know the magic mirror is the dvd menu and I'd close my eyes and squeeze dad and waited for him to finally play the movie.

in response to ur glamrock freddy chocolate post: i got the chica chocolate bc i love vanilla and birthday flavors and it was like. overstimulating. like it was good but after a few bites i'm like "i have to put this down or i Will explodje"

Yeah i also got the Chica one and it was SOO good but super duper sweet. Like it was a comforting kind of sweet and soft but sort like an affectionate aunt who hugs you so so much and you need some air. I ate it a lot slower than Freddy's and still have some left over.

Freddy's was surprisingly good. The orange flavor was a lot subtler but left a nice aftertaste i think. The pop rock candy was my favorite part but that's mostly cuz I adore fun textures. so eating chocolate and having it pop fireworks in my mouth like it was Remy the rat eating a strawberry and cheese for the first time probably convinced me this was the best thing I ever eaten
