Talk shit about someone my Muse knows.
Could be a friend, a loved one, maybe even an enemy! Try to provoke some sort of action out of them! Can be done on or off anon.

“The world is pleasure first, then grief, and then
We leave this fleeting world of living men—
Our beds are dust, for all eternity,
Why should we plant the tree we’ll never see?”

The Djinn!Verse (as a subverse within the Devil May Cry AU verse):
Tumblr media
This version of Nadir is the result of the union of a djinn (jinn and thus a category of demonic entity/devil/spirit) father named Ahriman and a mortal human mother named Shirin. Her exact age is unknown, though she is assumed to be at least over the age of 500 years in Castlevania verse (while maintaining the appearance of a fairly youthful woman). Though her precise age is unknown as far as her DMC verse is concerned, she appears to be in her mid to later twenties (or older, depending on verse and timeline). Her abode remains hidden among and surrounded by the ample foliage and towering trees somewhere in the shadowed outskirts of the village’s woods. I like to imagine this half jinn/demon incarnation of Nadir as drawing influences from the tale of Rumplestiltskin and the myth of Circe from Homer’s Odyssey as well as inspired very loosely by elements of Zoroastrian demon lore.
Being of half-djinn descent as opposed to full, Nadir assumes what seems to be an almost very normal human appearance, her ‘supernatural’ or more demi-human characteristics being more evident in the powers and abilities she wields along with the deals/contracts and magical trickery she’ll engage in whenever dealing with humans.
This version of Nadir (in general as the djinn was initially was in the Castlevania verse) holds rather cynical and disdainful views of humans in general, yet she finds it rather amusing to try and at least pretend to entertain whatever it is they have sought her out for. Often she will attempt to maintain a façade of neutrality or disinterest, all while attempting to look for some way to undermine the wish/deal that a human attempts to make with her in order to tip the scale of benefits far more in her favor. Any loophole, lack of specificity in a request, even the slightest or most menial mistake is all she needs to make a request fall flat or short of what the person was expecting. She usually feels very little (if any) remorse in carrying out such antics, believing humans to be a mostly avaricious race of self-serving, pretentious, and laughable beings who grossly overestimate their importance and place in the world.
In DMC verse, this has happened in the past mainly with those individuals whom she found to be truly deplorable beings and thus wished to torment for her own amusement and out of disgust for their existence. However, she has since let go of this pastime as she as focused her efforts on defending those humans she deems to be the most innocent and/or vulnerable (e.g. children, the elderly and frail, etc.) from demons and other forms of monstrosity. However, her duplicitous and manipulative nature remains very much intact, though overtime she has come to utilize such underhanded tactics against other demons aligned with more malevolent forces, despicable members of the human race, etc. as opposed to anyone and everyone indiscriminately.
Despite utilizing her cunning, abilities, and powers of deception to ultimately inconvenience those who fail to captivate her interest or whom she deems not worth her time, she will usually avoid engaging in outright violence. Humans simply aren’t worth the time to expend that amount of negative energy, and in addition she doesn’t exactly wish to draw a lot of attention to herself (negative or otherwise). Or alert the surrounding human masses and settlements to her existence, or have to waste time fending off large angry mobs of them should it come to that. Though she is quite capable if need be, or if some other force(s) (whether they be human or otherwise) attempt to threaten her in any way.

Identity
In this verse, Nadir is deliberately evasive, secretive, and misleading as far as her true name and the details of her past are concerned. She will not give you her real name, as knowing her real name enables the one who knows it to wield more power over her as far as sticking strictly to the original intent of deals/contracts and demands go, and there is no way she’s permitting anyone to even remotely wield that kind of power over her. In her earlier youth, another malevolent serpentine demon by the name of Zahhak, who despised her father for his strength and coveted his influence, was able to exploit her naivete at the time and was able to find out her true name.
As a result, she had been coerced to commit harmful acts against others against her will, and a series of events followed which ultimately took the life of her human mother (Shirin). Her djinn/demon father (Ahriman) never forgave her for this and basically disowning and rejecting her, she has not heard from him in many years as a result and has no idea if he is even still alive. at some point another force ended the life of that demon (likely her father in a fit of rage, though this has not been confirmed). but the extensive damage, physical and mental trauma, had already been done and she keeps her true name under heavy wraps from now on.
The very thought of any being becoming so smug, entitled, or having any amount of agency over her absolutely turns her stomach. Some alternative aliases she’s given others in the past include: Nadir (her most used alias), Farangis, Jaleh, Sepi, Anahita, Niloufar, Zohreh, etc. Her real name is Arnavāz, a name inspired by the epic poem Shahnameh by the Persian poet Ferdowsi  . For all intents and purposes, none who encounter her have any knowledge of her true name. The very utterance and wielding of her true name is so potent such that it is one that she has not uttered in centuries in order to ensure her own safety.

Weaponry, Items, Familiars (in progress)
1. Avesta (scimitar/sword) - this blade was given to her by her father, Ahriman, which she has wielded since her later teens
2. Iskandar (bazooka) - acquired at a later point in time
3. Simurgh - a falcon familiar who reports to her with information concerning individuals as well as assists her in battle
4. Soraya - another familiar (feline) which can transform into a more monstrous panther form in battle
5. Farvahar necklace - though initial seeming more than a mere benign piece of jewelry, this artifact can be utilized to augment her demonic energies and add more weight behind her attacks. A gift bestowed upon her by her mother and later fortified with magical enhancement of her own design

Much like her normal verse, she does at times like scribbling her thoughts down, whether they be upon loose pieces of parchment or within the confines of whatever withered journals happen to be within grasp at the moment. Sometimes her thoughts tend to take the form of informal poems here and there, couplet form usually being her preferred form of expression.
She also likes revisiting worn pieces of classic literature that she has in her modest collection with favoritism for 19th century literature. Percy Bysshe Shelly and Lord Byron are among her preferences for poetry from this era as well as in general, though she does also enjoy the poetry of others and from different time periods.
Her favored epic poem would be the Shahnameh by the Persian poet Ferdowsi, having been introduced to this by her own mother as a child, followed closely by Homer’s The Iliad and The Odyssey respectively (Greek mythology especially being a great area of interest to her and comprising a good percentage of her personal library).

Took a little bit of time, but I believe I finally found a suitable faceclaim for Nad’s father (Ahriman), at least as he seemingly appears in a hybridized form of his true demon spirit/djinn form and his human guise.
