Temptation Analysis

On a more serious note, this episode perfectly captured the quintessential issues and insecurities that plague Blitz’s mind. The desire to prove himself, to show his worth and skills, wishing to be more than what the hierarchy had given him. Here we see a man torn apart with inferiority complex on one side, and high pride and desire for achievement on the other side. 

What Blitz craves most is both being acknowledged as more than what Hell’s society thinks of his kind. And Striker knew exactly what kind of temptation to use against him, dangling the possibility to have the upper hand over both Royalty and Overlords. 

And yet! He has enough willpower to completely free himself from such a spellbinding offer and he still does the right thing. Mad respect for Blitz.
