I think one of my favorite stories I’ve ever heard Mark Hamill tell is the one about how the first time he heard the score for A New Hope he got sort of jokingly offended because it seemed like every other character had a specific song for them and he didn’t and John Williams just looked at him and said “…The main theme is your song” and Mark was like “WHAT OMG” like he didn’t actually understand before that moment that he was the protagonist.

Christopher and Millie from Chrestomanci series by Diana Wynne Jones. Here are some characters design I did of them right after reading this series (in English!!). Something different for today.

First illustration are them when they were children, from “The Lives of Christopher Chant”. Second as teenagers from “Conrad’s Fate”. Third and last as adults from the rest of the series.

I really enjoyed reading this series a lot. I wish I had know about this series as a child, because I think I would have loved it!!.

Millie is a cutie pie and I love her. I loved reading about her. I love her background and personality. I wish I knew about you when I was little. Christopher you are so insufferable and vague… Sadly I can’t hate you even if I tried XD. Such a contrast between these two.
