Okay I was the one who wanted to make fanart of paranormaltale lol, but I was wondering what style of clothes does Piper usually wear? Does he wear something like what US paps usually wears? Sorry this is late! I see Piper as wearing clothes similar to US Paps, but cozier/more pajama-ish. His fleece orange hoodie is extra big but there’s a space in the back for his wings to poke out. He usually wears pajama pants or sweats. His eyes are normal, and when he uses magic his eyelights are orange. His antenna are feathery and droopy. He usually wears slippers or house shoes.

Of course, feel free to take as many creative liberties as you see fit. The paranormal skelly’s designs are still a WIP.

Despite how creepy Celo seems at first glance, he’s a chill guy. He’s a good judge of character, but not a judgmental person, if you get what I’m saying. He’s a judge but a fair one, one who believes in the good in (most) people. Of course, he still has his moments despite this. He’ll urge you not to be so hard on yourself or others even if he also struggles with the same feelings of anger and spite. It’s something the two of you work on together. Celo helps you relax and sort out your negative feelings, usually with a logic-based approach. He’s not super great with the cuddly tender type comforting, but he’s good at rationalizing. He’s also super impressed and proud of you for wanting to improve your mental health. He admires that kind of drive. 

That being said, Celo will hold you whenever you want. If you’re depressed or anxious and just want hugs he’s there with open arms. If you just need to vent and aren’t looking for advice he’ll shut up and listen. He’s a good listener. He’s just not the type to coddle you and tell you ‘everything will be okay’ because he feels it’s dishonest and empty. Maybe things won’t be okay — he doesn’t know. He’s much more likely to tell you he’ll be there for you even when things aren’t okay. 

Integrity is the #1 trait Celo looks for in a partner. He has trust issues and has been betrayed more times than he likes to admit. There’s a reason why he doesn’t make promises anymore. Your integrity draws him to you, though he’s wary at first — every soul color has its drawbacks. Be gentle with him. It may take some time to build a relationship with him, but once you do it’s definitely worth it. Celo is ride or die loyal to his loved ones. 

Celo doesn’t care about makeup. He also thinks you’re attractive no matter what you wear because you’re you. He’ll lend you his jacket if you want to be extra cozy (and because you’re SO cute in it) and doesn’t expect you to get dressed up for dates. It’s not like Grillby’s has a dress code after all.

Hey I wanted to join in on the matchup for paranormaltale? Idk how to start without sounding awkward so I’ll just start:)

I use she/her pronouns and I’m pansexual. I have blue eyes, currently have light pink hair (I’m thinking purple next) and I’m on the chubby side. I struggle with sensory issues and dissociation, I’m getting better but I have my lapses. I also tend to bottle a lot of things up and push it down, but I’m working on becoming a better communicator. I love to swim, do nail art, eat anything with pasta, and look at memes. I love to go to the library, the mall, the pool/river, or just the comfort of a familiar bedroom. I try my best to be nice to everyone because you never know what people are going through. I tend to be pretty quiet, I love to joke around but I have to hype myself up most of the time to do that. I’m pretty touch-starved, and once I get comfy with a person I tend to just always want to touch them in some way, but I respect everyone’s boundaries. I’ve been told by many (including a customer once) that I have rbf. Because of that I don’t tend to judge others quickly.

I  match you with Piper (Paranormalswap Papyrus)

I definitely considered Puck for you, and I think you’d get along with him as well, but end the end I chose Piper for his calm and patience. Puck is rambunctious and overwhelming at times, though you do have similar interests so I’d say you two would be great friends. 

Piper values honesty. He is also patient and understanding and will work with you on communication. The fact that you want to be better with communicating means more to him than the fact that you sometimes bottle things up. He gets that it’s hard to share your feelings sometimes, so he’s always gentle and encouraging when you feel like clamming up. 

When it comes to sensory issues Piper is a great person to have around. If you’re overstimulated he’s quick to get you somewhere calm and gets you whatever you need to feel better. He has a sensitivity to high frequency sounds and coarse fabric, so you never have to worry about squeaky noises or scratchy textures at his house. He also never just flips a light on or off, instead gradually increasing or decreasing the lighting because of his moth-like vision. 

At first he’s not sure how to help you when you disassociate. He just kinda… keeps an eye on you and makes sure you’re hydrated and fed. You’ll have to tell him in advance what to do if you start to disassociate when he’s around. It scares him, and he’s a huge worrywart afterwords, but he’s good at getting you what you need and keeping calm despite his fear. 

Memes and pasta are two of Piper’s favorite things. Macaroni and cheese is his go-to and of course Puck and Stein have their spaghetti and lasagna,  so dinner is almost always either a type of pasta or takeout. For him, wolfing down insta-mac and texting each other memes is the height of romance. 

Piper usually keeps his wings tucked away, but once you two have been together for some time he’ll take you flying. He’ll take you to the spring for a late night swim, or to tour the museum after hours. If Stein isn’t in a foul mood he’ll take you to the library. He’ll either read to you (he does great character voices!) or sketch you. He loves to draw you. If you let him, he’ll also help make designs for your nail art. 

He values kindness as much as he values honesty, and he adores that you try to be nice to everyone. That being said, if anyone tries to take advantage of your kindness he’ll be the first to rush to your defense. That aside, he loves how sweet and cuddly you are. You absolutely may cling to him as much as you like, he is a Snuggle Bug.

When you start to open up more and joke around with him he’ll fall in love with you 10x over again. He’ll joke back gently at first, never quite teasing, but pretty soon you two fall into a habit of bantering.

G'day to you! Could I get a Paranormaltale matchup, please? She/her pronouns, if that’s okay. I’m an adult above 6'0" in footwear with brunette hair half that length, freely draping over much of my face and torso however it pleases. I’ve got slate-blue eyes and am always dressed in all black from jeans to faux leather to chains. 

I game, read, dabble in writing, draw some, sing, can play a couple instruments, and am bilingual. Storms make me smile, the cold is where I feel most at ease, stargazing is a loved pastime, and I enjoy snapping pics on my cell of anything I find interesting while out and about.

Being anxious and fairly socially inept, I prefer the night and empty places, so I go about my day taking back roads and traversing through public areas only at the oddest times to avoid the general populace. I’m not shy; reserved, yes, and not one for conversation, but far from timid. My balance is terrible, major depression has been a constant weight, and I should probably put more work into having more than two and half friends at any given time.

I like to explore abandoned locations and untrodden scenic spots either searching for inspiration, animal watching, the paranormal, or just to get away for a time with some music. I’ve taken home more than a few strays I’ve found doing just that, as well as had to wait out many storms in the middle of nowhere.

On days that you’re depression is bad he’ll hit the town with a thunderstorm (a mild one) so the two of you have an excuse to stay inside and cuddle all day. 

Being a cryptid, it’s only natural that Mercury would stray from crowds. He’s more than happy to have your dates in quiet locations and knows plenty of mysterious places for you to explore. One particular place he takes you to is an abandoned toy store, which sounds weird, but the dusty shelves lined with tin soldiers and broken dolls make for some cool photos. 

Mercury thinks it’s so sweet that you take in strays. You’re so full of compassion! He loves animals as well, he just doesn’t have the means to keep a pet, but he’ll help you find your fluffy friends a good home or help care for them if you adopt them.

dreamed that kindergarten nap was called sleep class and everybody went to sleep including the teacher. if you were awake it would get a little bit foggy outside and grey and cloudy, and these guys would start approaching the classroom from behind the tree line (forgive my shitty phone drawing)

and they were at least a story tall, some of them were taller, you could see their legs over the trees. they would approach very slowly. this one (the one i drew) had a name for some reason, his name is kick.

before i was totally awake my brain conjured a meme of a bunch of these guys approaching from the treeline and a child watching from the window with the caption “when you the only one awake in sleep class 😂😳😏”

What draws Stein to you is your curiosity and love of learning. Once he gets to know you better he’s thrilled to find someone who can keep up with him. Literature and language are two particular passions of his, so that’s definitely something you two can bond over. He also knows quite a bit about the town’s crime history — and the history of anything he touches — so if you’re looking for information he’s a gold mine. He loves long intellectual conversations with you, but if you’re feeling quiet, don’t worry! He can talk enough for the both of you. 

While he has trouble going on dates during the day, he’ll gladly take you wherever you want to go at night. One of his favorite things is to take you under the town. The library has a basement that opens up to a tunnel system underground, all the way to the mountain. It’s mysterious and full of old treasures. He also takes you to the roof of the music hall to dance under the stars when he feels particularly romantic. 

Stein insists that you let him help you with your sleep schedule. Just because he’s up all night doesn’t mean you have to be! Humans are fragile and need rest. He’ll make sure your dates are over in time for you to get the proper amount of sleep, but if you want to stay the night in the library you’re certainly welcome. He can set up the projector to watch movies with you until you fall asleep or take you for a walk around town if you’re restless, then carry you home once you tire yourself out. 

Empathy is a trait Stein looks for in a partner since he often has trouble expressing his softer emotions. The fact that you can see past his rough exterior and understand him is something he appreciates immensely. 

Stein is already a protective partner, so the fact that you’re easily frightened only heightens this. When you’re scared he pulls you close and promises that he’ll never let anything — or anyone — harm you. And anyone who teases you for being a scaredy cat will face his wrath.

He thinks it’s super cool that you’re a witch! He asks you to teach him about what you do and is very respectful of your practices. He’s met witches before, so he understands each person’s path is different, and he’s always willing to learn about yours. 

The fact that you’re asexual really makes no difference to Papyrus. Sex isn’t something essential to a relationship, and honestly it’s not something he’d bring up unless his partner expressed interest in it. 

Puck is great to have around when you’re anxious. He’s a strong, steady presence and will give you all of the comfort and cheer you need. Even if you need to distance yourself he makes it clear he’s there for you. While he prefers to have conversations face to face, if there’s ever something serious you need to discuss he’s willing to text if that’s more comfortable for you. As long as you’re upfront and honest with your feelings, he doesn’t mind different modes of communication. 

Puck likes to take you on all sorts of dates. Nature walks, scavenger hunts, the theater, fancy starlit picnics. Of course, more casual dates are just fine. Helping you dye your hair is just as great as a fancy dinner, and much more colorful! As bubbly and boisterous as he used to be, Wirry is rather reserved around strangers now. That’s not to say he isn’t friendly, he’s just... softer, more cautious. It’s a bit of a slow start for you two, but he’s too curious and charmed by you to let you go. I’m imagining a slow burn that starts as a shy friendship that blooms into a very natural relationship. The more you open up to him the more he falls for you, and the more he opens up to you in return. 

Wirry loves that you’re athletic and adores going on runs with you. It feels good to have a jogging buddy again. A better jogging buddy. The nostalgia of it is bitter at times, but little things like this help him get back into activities he loved before the famine. 

He likes to stroke your head and play with your hair. He’ll pull you into his lap on the bench swing and pet you while you read. He’s also eager to see your art if you’ll let him, and he’ll show you some of his own! While he isn’t much of a writer, he’s an excellent painter. Maybe you can work on an art piece together, or he can paint something based on your writing. 

Coffee? Wirry is more into tea himself, but he can work with coffee. Because he needs to keep a low profile he can’t take you to cafes, but he’ll grow spices and learn what blends you like so he can brew something you’ll love. However, if he thinks you’re consuming too much caffeine he’ll make tea or decaf for you to try. 

Fortunately, Wirry is not a confrontational person. He hates arguing. Sometimes he’ll try to avoid a disagreement so much that he keeps quiet about things that upset him. This coupled with the fact that he has trouble communicating at times means that you’ll probably have to have a talk with him about... talking. Encourage him to be honest about his feelings and assure him you won’t be angry at him for expressing himself. And don’t worry, he’s always willing to hear you out without judgement if there’s something that’s bothering you. 

One more thing. While he doesn’t like confrontation, he certainly isn’t afraid of it. If anyone gives you trouble just leave them to him. He’ll scare the pants off of them for you or, if push comes to shove, make them... mysteriously disappear.

Appearance: Short, brown hair/eyes, pasty

I’m fairly quiet unless I know people well, I struggle to articulate genuine emotion (but can/will chat about everything else under the sun). Love the outdoors, and adventuring to new places but not fond of exercise. A fairly quick temper but I tend to get over it fast. Love to craft but I’m not always good at it (sewing is the worst but crochet is the best), read and write a ton. I tend to lean towards food/acts of service when showing affection, sometimes physical but I do have a bit of touch aversion (and also PTSD and anxiety but I manage those well enough on my own, usually). Awful at flirting and apparently dense when being flirted with. I get embarrassed easily but am never ashamed of it, which comes in handy because I can’t walk more than ten steps without eating floor. A bit of a mess in terms of style, I can’t match to save my life so I don’t bother. I forget and lose things easily and I tend to a bit of a motherhen with anyone who is not me. And I’m a sag…I think that’s it lol

Places I like to go: I prefer quiet/open places (less crowds), museums, libraries, outdoor exhibits, etc

Hound is pretty flexible when it comes to dates, so whether you want a night in to cook and craft together or a day out, he’s game. He’ll take you to his favorite hidden places and let you ride on his back if you get tired while exploring. On craft dates he’ll ask you to teach him how to do what you’re doing so he can make you something. If you give him any of your crafts he’ll treasure them forever. Soft things like scarves and plushies will be added to his nest. 

Hound is good at reading others’ emotions and is understanding. He empathizes with your struggle to articulate genuine emotion; he has a habit of handing over most of the conversation to his peers and is more concerned with others’ feelings that expressing his own. That’s something you can work through together, though. Chatting is a good start. He always loves to listen to you talk, and if you make it known you’ll listen to him as well he’ll open up more. 

Because he’s so attentive to your needs and emotions, he’s great with things like comforting you and knowing when you need to leave a situation. He’s patient and understanding, but also intimidating enough that nobody is going to mess with you if you’re upset and need to be alone. 

While Hound loves to cuddle he’s not pushy about physical affection. He’s sharp and will quickly find out what love language you respond to best and adapt to that. He ADORES it when you cook for him and shows oodles of appreciation when you do things for him. Sometimes it makes him flustered because he feels he’s not worth your hard work, but if you’re happy to do it for him he’ll accept it graciously. 

If you have a habit of losing things, no worries. Hound has a habit of collecting. If you can’t find something check his nest; chances are he picked it up and meant to return it to you but forgot. 

Like to be cozy and don’t care about fashion? Perfect! You can borrow his clothes. Wait until you see his favorite sweater. It looks like the 70′s threw up on it.

It's been awhile. I'm sorry for disappearing, but thank you to all who have stuck around. Things went downhill in the last couple of months, to be honest. I won't go into detail, but among the chaos I lost my journal, which has the writing for this blog in it.

I will still be answering match-ups, but the oneshots will have to come later after I've rewritten them.

Requests are still closed, but I'll try to be on this blog more. I've missed it.
