some people genuinely have just GOT to leave the fandom if they're that miserable. especially frequenters of the subreddit. if you view everything he does as something to disagree with or criticize then for your own health you NEED to leave the fandom. it is not healthy to obsessively criticize the every move of anything you claim to enjoy and if that's the spot you've found yourself in then you don't even actually like that thing anymore--you've just become obsessed with circle jerking over how much you actively dislike it with others who feel the same. it is not normal anywhere else for the fandom to criticize the Every Single Move of the person we are all meant to be enjoying. i wasn't in bandom watching a new essay on how a band should run their album cycle every single day like it's just something that only happens over Serious Issues in any other fandom. this is a byproduct of dream being the internet's punching bag in that even "stans" feel the need to criticize every thing he does in advance of people who dislike him doing it, and sometimes even in ways those who dislike him wouldn't even do. IT IS NOT NORMAL. NOT EVERYTHING HE DOES SHOULD BE A LESSON FOR HIM TO LEARN FROM. and at the end of the day if you dislike how things are going you should either take a step back for the time being or just leave the fandom. it is not healthy for you to be miserable over it constantly and it is not healthy for dream to have to read about himself and think that he should take it into consideration when doing things.
