I wanted to rewrite a bunch of stuff I said over on twitter about TotK's world building (mainly about Ganondorf and the Zonai), but I'm really bad at writing and I did all those tweets in a feverishly focused state. I'll try my best cause those tweets are riddled with typos and I want to bring my knowledge here 🧠 but I also cba. Many such cases.

Im dying so much in ALttP because these enemies do so much damage to you, plsss I am a lil guy with five itty bitty hearts trying to find some jewellery, be nicies to mee.

Hard to say but two games are my tops I'd say phantom hourglass! It was my introduction to the series and blew my mind as a kid, spent hours scouring online for puzzles still never finished it funny enough. My 2nd is hyrule warriors the 2014 one while not a mainline, I have been playing that title since the 3ds days and now onto switch I have a ton of hours sunken into it and introduced me to my 2 most fav characters like ever! These two titles are very dear to me! :]

My fave 2D game is definitely Minish Cap :3 Vaati is my fave character for way too long now lmaoo. Btw great art you have there 👀 let me quickly drop a follow

Minish Cap..... Ooooughv Minish Cap!!!!!! I love you Minish Cap. It's a very good game with loads of fun things to do (not you gachapon quest and 10 round cucco minigame). I loved hanging out with the Minish in their little houses and café up in the rafters.

Oh oh and yes!! The dungeons are so good (except you ice ruins), I can't remember what my favourite one is though, my head is full of MC dungeons at the moment.

I dunno if it counts as “2D” because it’s a 3DS game, but A Link Between Worlds is my favorite top-down Zelda. It has some of the best dungeons in the whole handheld series, plus I loved finding the hidden secret treasures.

It counts as "2D" because of its top-down genre of video game, or at least that's how i categorise 2D vs 3D.

Yessss I love ALBW!!! I'll be revisiting that Hyrule soon enough with ALttP.

For me, ALBW was just a pleasant experience, but I'm fine with not 100%ing it unlike a lot of Zelda I love (mostly because my L trigger on my 3DS doesn't respond consistently, which makes using the Pegasus Boots really awkward. I haven't checked, but I just assumed there was going to be some tight timed race that requires good control of the boots, that will reward you with a heart piece).

Yuga, Hilda and Ravio were all great!
