She just feels a bit too childish for me. Like she is 17-18 by Volume 6/7, but she just seems a bit too immature still...
Weiss Schnee - PASS
Not really into the whole tsundere thing she has in the earlier volumes. Also, her new braid ponytail, while it has grown on me, still kind of irks me because it looks like it should weigh like 5-10 pounds and I don't know how she holds her head up for so long.
Blake Belladonna - SMASH
Not usually one for the mysterious type, but she is undeniably sexy and has her cute moments. Plus she's also very well read and smart! I liked her longer hair way more than her current short hair, but she's still super cool and has a lot going for her in my books.
Yang Xiao Long - SMASH!!!
SOOOOO freaking hot and sexy! I love her hair, her eye color changing, and her humorous personality. She is easily my favorite girl from team RWBY! SMASH as much as she'd let me!

Sorry to disappoint but I really didn't know half of these ladies. But
Shana and Yomiko Readman - PASS.
I had not heard of them nor knew either of their animes before this so I have no idea what their personalities are like. And while Shana is a redhead, which always gets some points with me at this point I think, that is not enough for me to say SMASH.
Mine - PASS
Not a fan of arrogance and tsundere's, which is kind of the only thing that stuck out about her anytime I saw her on screen.
Android 18 (Dragon Ball Z/Super) - I WOULD LOVE TO SMASH buuuuut she's head over heels for Krillin
Like a lot of people, I think Android 18 is super hot! Like one of the best things to come out of the Cell Saga hot. But, she and Krillin also are head over heels for each other and it's one of my favorite canon ships in an anime of all time!

My goodbye to Rooster Teeth.
I know this isn’t exactly recent news anymore, but yeah. Rooster Teeth is closing. It hit me hard when I heard that. I’m not going to lie, I haven’t watched much of their content at all in the past 6-7 years. Not since I was just starting college back in like 2018/2019.
I was also late to the party in the first place. I didn’t start watching Rooster Teeth until like 2013-2015? I believe it was the Minecraft let’s plays with Achievement City or the Rage Quit Series that got me started. RWBY, one of my all time favorite shows, came later. And after that, it was the podcasts, and Red vs. Blue. I only got to about season 15 I think, but it was definitely awe inspiring.
But despite that, RT was a huge part of my teenage years. I would come home from school and just watch countless videos from them. Sometimes stuff all the way back to their first years of creating things.
Now, it's all kind of just... over. I kind of feel like I've known some of them for so long, it hurts hearing this happen to them. Geoff especially hurt me... I cried as soon as I heard him on their response video thing. That man put his life, mind, heart, body, and soul into that company and now it's just gone. That feels so wrong to me. I hope all the employees will find great ways to keep following their passions and express all the creativity that they have shown over the last two decades. I know that no company can really last forever, but that doesn't make this any easier.
Obviously, I don't know what's going to happen to their intellectual properties, but I hope they don't end, RWBY in particular. It's been such a long journey for its creators and fans, this just can't be the end. I really do hope that it's continued. If not by Kerry or its other current writers and animators, then someone else. I heard that dillongoo, a former animator from RWBY (who makes really cool animations on youtube too), was interested in possibly buying the rights to RWBY which would be fitting in my opinion. We will all just have to wait and see.
In the meantime, I went and downloaded as much RWBY content as I could find and also some RT Animated Adventures because I don’t know what’s going to happen when the official shutdown comes. If the website and youtube channel gets shut down too then I don't want those to be lost for good. I wish I could download a lot more to save it all, but I just don't have that kind of time or storage space
I don't know what will happen in a few months after they're officially shut down, but regardless...

Thank you for the 21 years of joy, sadness, laughs, tears, comfort, suspense, adventure, inspiration, and family you gave us.
I wish you all the absolute best in your futures!

I thought this was incredibly sweet and heartfelt so I wanted to share it. It is also very close to how I feel myself, but I'll be making my own post (finally) about this as well soon hopefully.
A Fond Farewell
With Rooster Teeth beginning its draw down, an era has truly passed. The company has lasted more than two decades. 18 (soon 19) seasons, five mini-series, and cameos and references in Halo itself for Red vs Blue. 9 volumes alongside two movies, a chibi series, Ice Queendom, and its own games for RWBY. And so much more beyond that, RT Shorts, podcasts, Achievement Hunter, The Slow Mo Guys, and on and on. That’s a lot, especially for a little startup launching off a web series. I was listening to “This Isn’t Goodbye, It’s See You Later” by Richie Branson while I was making this little memorial post. It’s a song made for another Rooster Teeth show, Camp Camp, and I have to say it’s some very appropriate music for this moment.
The day the news dropped, I wrote up a little comment in response to Rooster Teeth beginning its closing down, and I thought I’d share some of it here. I grew up with Rooster Teeth, a bit of a cheesy line I know, but it’s true for a lot of us. I was just a little kid way back in the early 2000’s, a kid that liked Halo (a game I didn’t even own for a long time, but played at a friend’s house), and was just getting curious about what I could find about it on YouTube. And that brought me into the world of music videos and skits and montages made for that little game I liked.
From there, I discovered a small web series called Red vs. Blue. I’d sneak onto my folk’s computer to watch it since they didn’t appreciate the language, and in doing so I dipped my toes into the wide world of the internet for the first time. As I got older, I eventually hopped onto Reddit for its discussion threads of Rooster Teeth’s latest show, RWBY. I began my first in-depth fandom interactions, speculating about the show, enjoying the flood of fanart, even got into fanfics about RWBY (those fics have had their own amazing evolution alongside the show) and to this day it’s the fandom I’ve followed and bookmarked the most fics from. All the while I was making friends and bonding with people through the community this company and its shows have created.
Watching the shows and people grow over time was, looking back on it, just like watching myself grow. I was never really a social media/internet kind of guy, until it came to Rooster Teeth. The shows, shorts, podcasts, it all opened up a whole new world for me. It’s sad to see it coming to close, and I hope it gets picked up in the future. But I’m happy, too, that it’s left so much behind, and had such an impact on me. It’s left me with so many good memories. Rooster Teeth, its shows, those that created and worked on it, and above all the community around it will always have a special place in my heart.
So, I bid a fond farewell to Rooster Teeth and its crew, and anyone who may drift away from the fandom in time. I wish you all the best.
