Malroth 2D

its a totally done malroth
This is the fastest that I have ever finished a base for this. So this is what it looks like currently, I have to re-shape, build better and shade the different pieces in order to make it look like the original model
This model will be avaliable to everyone to do as they please! :D
As long as you credit me I am happy. You should be able to rig this for animation and do a small amount with it. I made most of the pieces as basic as I could and should really make a more in depth on but this is what I am doing for my Patreon this month!
I really wanna make outfits but I have one more project to finish this month (meaning the DQ line up battle) so I am excited for that. Gives me something to look forward to

July Models
So! Its now the month of July and I have decided that 3D DQ models did really not work out for me....at all
I decided the best way to go about this is to take art and rip pieces out of it to make a sprite of. But of course I am starting with Terry.
So far I have a total of like three eye colors for him and I have re-edit / created the rest of the shoe on the model. Ideally most of the model should be able to be animated, which should be pretty simple if it is in pieces (and not something that i can do)
I haven’t gotten very far but thgis is the progress I have for one sitting. Which is not terrible but it could be going better. I will have this one ripped apart and probably just aklternate colors right now. After that I would like to have it with different clothing and SOMEDAY WE SHALL HAVE TERRY HATLESS AND I WILL DRAW HIS HAIR

If you have a model you would like me to work on this month you may send me a request! I also just like getting cute little letters in my inbox so if you don’t have a model that you’d like send me some colors you think woudl be fun !!

Hi! the model art is linked to a few posts that I have posted here before
This is where I post my character's models and what not, most of it if not all of it should be the models I make.
This is one of my most recent models :D
I did try to make a Malroth model at one point really early into my learning this and it did not work out well, but I have made some pretty good progress and am making DQ style models currently! (This means the prototype is in the works)
They are 3D models, but I am not giving out the model files themselves just images and editing them to use for icons, character claims and what not

So, through the month of June I am making models to give out just so we have something to talk about :D
I have made a post before here about June and July. June will be pokemon styled characters on my Patreon and July will be Dragon quest!
This is why I am currently working on Dragon Quest so they are ready to go for 07!!
Right now the feature character I will have is Milly :D And so far her headband is done and ready to use on anyone! The only struggle I am having is with the eye style and hair texture so I will be working on that :D
Good question though!
As much as I want to use this blog to post about my work and things I have been making as well as my own works and characters, I feel like the people here are really only here for the screenshots and DQ stuff so I didn't want to clutter this tumblr with unrelated stuff

July is DQ Month!
June is going to be pokemon month and following that theme I am pleased to say that July will be DQ month!

I have been kinda bogged down with commissions, and have not been really able to make models that I want
Send a bunch of malroth requests so I have to make them
Requests are open to ANY tier, as are pictures of models!
I want to make images in the style of the DQ Rivals cards! I am so so so excited
I can make humans, but I have never tried to make non-humans. So please feel free to request those and I will see if I can :D
Request can be put in early, they just won’t be done and posted until after the 2nd of that month. You don’t have to be a patreon member either but I would prefer the messages there so I can keep everything organized. Otherwise please feel free to send me an ask here!

I am thinking about making a sticker set of my favorite blocks from Builders 2. Maybe some of my favorite items too, that would be really fun!
Do you think I should make holo stickers or just regular stickers?
I would also love to publish a page of my terrible slime faces! Those were so good I enjoy and hate them and I hope you will too.
I have never actually made a sale on my artwork before though, so I am looking to get opinions before I actually invest the money into the stickers.

Malroth Model? Malroth Model.
I live !
So, in my time away from interacting with people I learned how to do this
Basically. I think we need some DQ Models
(That is doug in rough layout for RF5)
Now, I did try to do this with Terry, of course, and it really didn’t work out for me.
The things I am thinking that I will need to do
• custom eye set up
• way better hair rigging
I’ve been trying to use heroes as a reference and its not so much working out for me. More than that, I can currently only make 1 type of body. I rather dislike it.
So, I would really like any suggestions or tips but you know we gotta make a short king
Concerns I have for this model?
Hair. Literally like. Hair that is it. Do I make a texture for it? Do I make some custom shapes? Do I go full sharp stabby style? I am thinking the blocky style for hair
thinking it’ll look pretty good.
What are your guys’ opinions?
Right now I am thinking the most of the time is going to be spent on making his hair honestly, I have no idea what to do with his little horns. Refences and images of all kinds would be welcomed ;;u;;
Clothes and body should take me literally minutes to do. Necklace I am not good enough to add accessories on yet but am learning. Listen, it takes a whole another program to do
