AO3 Comments are SO SO SOOOOOOO important because you can only leave Kudos ONCE. You add to the hit count ONCE (every 24 hours).

So whenever someone updates their fic, the ONLY way an author knows who their regular readers are is if they comment on each chapter. And we WANT to know who's still reading.

Believe it or not, some of us think about the name that pops up constantly in the comments and go "omg I can't wait to see what they think of THIS SPECIFIC SCENE cuz I KNOW they'll say something about it!!!"

it will always bother me that in the year of our Lord 1963, Susan said she made up the initials for the TARDIS, but that apparently every single other person on her planet and all over the universe for some reason call all of those ships TARDISes. they don’t have another name for it. Uuuuh... if that means how many are actually, and still, published, that's 48 on AO3 and mmmmh around 7 on Tumblr, I guess! That's more than 920.000 words still available. (Yes, if you follow me for longer, I had reached 1 million but I deleted some)

Hmm, initially, no idea. I'm writing since I'm a kid, I guess I just somehow found that I like it and that I'm kind of imaginative. Fanfiction, well, I think I told that story before, I started because it was something that was appreciated at the Star Wars cons I attended. And much later, when I restarted writing fanfics, it was Covid – too much time ;) But I've always been writing. I made it my job :)
