Victor Cassadine on GENERAL HOSPITAL — Everything You Need To Know.
Victor Cassadine on GENERAL HOSPITAL was believed to be deceased, but as longtime viewers know, it’s hard to keep a Cassadine in the grave! But for newer fans who might not be familiar with Victor’s history, he’s one of the more dastardly members of the Cassadine family, who has threatened multiple lives — and even the entire city of Port Charles! The character of Victor Cassadine was introduced back in 1981 along side brothers Mikos and Tony ( Thaao Penghlis). who also reprised the role in 2014, but when the character was brought back to life in September 2021, Victor was being portrayed by Charles Shaughnessy.
In one of GH´s most infamous storylines, Mikkos, Tony, and Victor stole the Ice Princess diamond and planned to use it as a power source for a weather machine that would freeze the world! But he wasn’t without a heart, because Victor had a brief romance with B-movie actress Tiffany Hill. Luke, Laura, and Robert journeyed to Cassadine Island where they thwarted the evil plot and while Mikkos and Tony were both killed, Victor was arrested and was later believed to have been killed behind bars.
In 2014, Victor appeared at Robin Scorpio’s doorstep to reveal that he was the new director of the WSB and he wanted the doctor to bring Helena Cassadine and Stavros Cassadine back to life. When she refused, he informed her that her beloved Jason Morgan was still alive in cryogenic stasis, so she could help him as well. Reluctantly, Robin eventually agreed to his scheme.
It was revealed that Mikkos has a past with Liesl Obrecht and had also put Rafe up to running Patrick’s car off the road, resulting in the death of his and Sabrina’s son, Gabriel. At the Crichton-Clark Clinic, Robin had a breakthrough with her reanimating process and wanted to test it on Stavros and Helena, but Victor didn’t want to risk his own family and forced her to try it on Jason first. Once he was successfully brought back to life, Victor had no further use for Robin and had his goons take her away as he prepared to resurrect Helena and Stavros.
Victor was also working with Levi to steal the Aztec treasure, and when Nathan West came came to Maxie’s rescue, Victor was stunned to learn he was Obrecht’s son and hesitated to shoot the cop, presumably fearing he could be Nathan’s father! After taking a blood sample from Nathan and locking him up with Maxie, Victor asked Liesl if he was Nathan’s father, but she denied it. However, later, Obrecht claimed that it was true, and she had only kept quiet to protect Victor from a jealous Cesar Faison.
Victor was furious to have had his child kept from him, and when Nathan burst into his office demanding he release Maxie, Victor warned the cop he couldn’t shoot his own father. Nathan was stunned when Obrecht confirmed the claim, but after he ran off to save Maxie, the DNA test results came back and Victor was confused to find he and Nathan were not related. When Anna arrived to arrest Victor, Obrecht grabbed his gun and shot him. She insisted she had to do it to protect Nathan because nobody else could know Victor wasn’t really his father — the truth was much worse! (It was the evil Faison who was later revealed to be Nathan’s dad.)
Victor set off a self-destruct bomb that destroyed the clinic and presumably himself, but as soap fans know, characters come back to life all the time. And in 2021, the Cassadine turned out to be very much alive, to Obrecht’s shock! After passing out during a turbulent plane ride, Obrecht awoke to find herself being held prisoner by Victor, who admitted he didn’t approve of her new relationship with Scott Baldwin. Thankfully, he had his goons give Scott a parachute before tossing the guy out of the plane when he abducted Obrecht for himself!

GENERAL HOSPITAL Spoilers 9/3/21: Carly and Jason Take the Next Step!
Brando wants to be taken in, Olivia has a surprise, Jax presses Ava for information, Curtis gives Sam the cold shoulder, and “Mike” checks in with Nina as Jason and Carly take the next step towards becoming man and wife!
Brando is trying to make a life with Sasha but he can’t quite seem to stay away from the Corinthos side of his family. “Can’t you just arrest me instead?” he asks someone. But is he joking around or might Brando actually be in some trouble?
Jax is determined to figure out exactly what Nina is hiding in Nixon Falls and if he really did see Sonny alive in the small town, but first he’s doing some reconnaissance around Port Charles. “I’m not leaving here until you give me some answers,” he informs an irritated Ava. Will she spill what she knows?
Sam swings by the Savoy to talk to Curtis only to find him incredibly distracted. “Why am I suddenly not welcome here?” she asks her pal. Could it be because Jason is going to be holding his low-key bachelor party in the club and it might be awkward if he and Sam ran into each other? As Jason toasts to his upcoming nuptials he tells Spinelli and Michael: “That deserves to be celebrated.”
Nina put the brakes on taking her relationship with “Mike” to the next level because she was overwhelmed with guilt about keeping him from his true identity. However, “Mike” has no idea she knows who he really is, so he just thinks she’s holding off until he learns about his past. “Have you come to any conclusions?” he asks Nina.
Standing behind the bar at the Metro Court, Olivia promises Dante she’s got everything well in hand. “I’ve got a surprise that’s gonna blow Carly’s mind!” she chuckles. And with a special bachelorette party being thrown for Carly, the bride-to-be is beginning to delight in the whole situation. “I’m starting to feel like a real bride,” she grins. This marriage started out as a business arrangement, but might it become something much more?

September 3-6, 2021 TROUBLES AND TRAVELS.
- Bad ass Xander did some tough negotiating with arrogant
EJ. He promised his million after he was back at Basic Black.
Only problem is Calista now wants Bonnie to get that money
and she even heard him mention his Salem Inn room number. A
break-in is imminent and the money soon goes missing.
EJ pops by with something for Xander.
- EJ must break the brazen news about Xander going back
to Basic Black to Nicole. He could also use some advice on
how to deal with his relationship with Johnny.
- Gwen is desperate to spare Xander, who disagrees with her idea
of wot exactly to tell Jack.
- Suspicious Justin grills Calista. Something is not adding up.
- Gwen sticks up for Xander to judgmental Jack but how much
of her inconvenient truth will she tell?!
- Steve senses something is very off with Calista the trashy
fast talking last-minute invite and intends to investigate.
Nothing escapes the Patchman!
- Bonnie is about to have the wedding of her dreams but Xander

Young & Restless Weekly Preview: Adam and Rey Clash Again — This Time Over Chelsea.
Billy is onto Victor’s latest game move.
In the Young & Restless preview for the week of June 7 – 11, Kyle’s drama with Tara and Ashland continues, and Adam has a big problem. Read on to find out what else is happening next week.
After Kyle revealed to Ashland that he was actually Harrison’s father, Kyle stepped up to be a true dad to the boy. Not only did this cause Summer to worry about Kyle making a happy little family with Tara and Harrison, but Ashland was determined to make sure he was never replaced in the boy’s life. Kyle was left stunned when Tara considered taking Ashland’s offer to share joint custody, on the condition that Kyle had no part in Harrison’s life.
Next week, Kyle does his best to make Tara see that the judge could very easily side with her. However, Tara is right to be worried because we don’t think viewers have even begun to see how dirty Ashland can play if pushed. There is also that looming warning from Ashland to Jack that he has no idea what’s it’s like to really deal with Tara.

Billy’s brilliant exposés seem to cause more trouble than do any good, and we can’t wait to see what Victor has planned… and what Billy does — if anything — to counter his move.
Finally, Summer and Nick watch as Rey and Adam have words. It’s safe to say these two will never be friends or see common ground, and Adam really has an issue with Rey’s actions where Chelsea is concerned.
