It’s not a linear process. Running a business has many elements at play at all times. ⁠ If you're paying someone to teach you how to make money as a coach or consultant & they're offering you any combination of: -Multiple 1 to 1 calls per week - 10X Your Growth Workshop - Millionaire Mindset - Ask XYZ Session - Funnel Library I wouldn't want to monitor how much they preach 'impact' & 'over-delivery' & like to blabber on group coaching models in their marketing. I'd run the other way instantly... Unless you want to wind up loathing your life & running a caregiving service (you'd likely get paid more doing caregiving too). If they're doing this in their own business... Either they don't value their own time & will never be able to teach you to make a lot of money coaching / consulting in a way that allows you to keep your sanity in check... And / Or They've never taken on many clients/customers themselves; otherwise, they'd know what a living misery this would be at scale. I've been consulting coaches & have worked with multi-billion dollar companies. You must implement boundaries, strict rules & standards from Day 1 in your marketing, sales process & post-purchase delivery. You must limit contact to as few channels as possible & set windows for reference. It would help if you charge high prices; otherwise, you will cap out with a group of clients who are underpaying you & control your life. Consulting is a fantastic way to add a side income to an existing information business, but it can quickly become a living disaster if done incorrectly. Your own self worth & the value you place on your time will drive your standards & how much control you can put in place. Algorithms. 💥 I have a love hate relationship for them. But, you have to work with them, or they are going to work against you. Knowing how they work in different areas of each platform is essential to optimize your content. For example, let’s talk Facebook specifically... The platform prioritizes content from Groups that users frequently engage with. So if you’re consistently publishing to your Group and your audience is reacting to it or they’re posting content themselves, you’re feeding the algorithm exactly what it wants. Group posts are what the Facebook algorithm is looking for. Facebook says that it has updated the News Feed algorithm to "prioritize the Pages and groups we predict an individual may care about most" You can see this for yourself by scrolling through your own Facebook feed.
