They acknowledged that they made a mistake, made the wider context more clear, and addressed basically all of the criticisms brought forward by the community as far as I know.

Anyone who already subscribed to the streaming service who no longer wants it gets a refund.

Patrons get a free subscription to the streaming service.

The service now only offers early, ad-free episodes that will still be released on YouTube.

They acknowledged the insensitivity of the original pitch and how the price is not something that everyone can afford.

a character who didn't call a friend for help because their phone is charging in their bedroom and by the time they realized they need help, they were too sick or weak to go get it. the friend comes to the rescue and uses their spare key when they miss something important (work, a party, a team assembly, etc without calling) and it's unlike them. friend comes in and is and hurt by the fact that character didn't call them, but the anger dissipates when they realize that it was something so simple.

I want less of "the Drakes were terrible people and parents and Bruce rescues poor sad Timmy" (not knocking the trope it just got old for me)

And more of Bruce suffering a hell of his own creation as he tries to figure out how to parent Timothy "latchkey kid" Drake, who doesn't respect the concept of having parental supervision in general and more specifically Bruce's authority as his new guardian at all, because Tim was basically his caretaker for the entire beginning of his tenure as Robin

Any kind of Parental Action would have Bruce choking in his own hypocrisy. Like... imagine trying to get your teenage son to go to bed when he's been putting your ass down for naps for like, years, by that point. Imagine telling him to eat healthier when at 13 years old he was helping your butler with designing your meal plan 'cause you were too depressed to eat

Bruce gently tries to get him to stop working on a case to take a break, and Tim raises a single withering eyebrow (he learned this from Alfred) and Bruce immediately shuts up. Tim only listens to Bruce when he wants to and being legally adopted by the man hasn't changed that

I've been writing this historical romance recently that I'm not sure I'll finish but I'm really enjoying. #except I wouldn't call it a historical romance exactly because it takes place in a fantasy city in a simplified and idealized version #of the 1920s versus a true historical romance that would place a lot of emphasis on being accurate versus my intent which is to #draw from the erotic symbolism of a speakeasy named after a drag queen. #me at work #“why don't you talk about yourself more?” #“...o... kay?” #“I'm going to go back not talking about myself now.”

Going forward, I will take a note from YouTube’s recommendation and separate everything I do into different channels

So, the main channel will just be readings, the audiobook and streams from here on out

The animations and doodles will be going to this one

And finally music will be going to this one

Some of you might already be subbed since they are old channels I had getting reused

I know this ain’t what some would want, but it’s very clear this is what YouTube itself wants.
