Yes, yes, and yes!
Ochako and Shouto getting so much amusement whenever somebody comments on how domestic and civilian their spouse is, when both know good and well Izuku has connections to the underground and is a powerful and feared name there, even while retired.
Also Eri having three parents that love her to bits and pieces and would decimate their opponents if she was in danger is absolutely yes! Her and Izuku making caramel apples together for their family to enjoy when Ochako and Shouto get home, and all four watching family-friendly movies while singing along to the cheesy songs playing.
Bakugo still suspecting something is up though and being the weird stalker that gets a restraining order slapped on him though ^w^ because the insult to Pomeranians needs a restraining order on him
I love love The Way of the Househusband and there's a fic in ao3 where AFO gives up villainy to let Inko work and it's basically him as a househusband
So AU where Izuku was a well known Yakuza or super villain named The Informant who took down multiple villains for power over territory and went missing only for those closest to him to find out he's now a retired villain/yakuza turned househusband who's married to... wanna say Ochako bc it fits tbh and I love it
Or Shouto and him are married
Katsuki is just suspicious of his old lost childhood friend being Yakuza/villain but nope the boy is a retired one

I’ve seen the comic and can understand where you’re coming from. The premise is good but … the style is just too cute to be enjoyable with some of the more played themes. And I can agree with what you’re saying regarding Bakugo. -.-‘ I like that he isn’t an abusive piece of shit in that AU, but it’s not as enjoyable because it’s ooc and he’s just *too* sappy loving.
I’ve never actually seen The Way of the Househusband, but the idea of Izuku being a house husband that’s formerly a villain or otherwise big time baddie is interesting in of itself, especially if he was married to Ochako or Shouto. Izuku being the loving spouse that takes care of the house while his partner is away.
I kinda think of Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist when I think house husband because in the end wasn’t that what he did? Because his inspiration was Izumi Curtis, who was a badass woman but also made it a point to state she was a housewife.
Izuku being a former big power and then shattering expectations people have of him in becoming a caretaker of his home and family, I’ve read some good AUs of where Izuku raised Eri instead of her being adopted by Aizawa. Because in this AU Izuku is a former supervillain/member of the yakuza, would he have gotten “custody” of Eri from Overhaul?

Adrien is a scary child because he knows business better than grown men who’ve been in the game for years.
Adrien getting raised around the criminal underbelly of Gotham would give him odd morals. At least he knows how to respect others and treat people as they deserve -w-‘ that’s more than what some villains would teach.
I has an au idea
Instead of Emile taking a newborn Adrien away from Harleen Quinzel
How about Harley kidnapping a newborn Adrien while her cousin passes out from exhaustion from the birth and raises him with Ivy
Harley puts on fake tears as she tells Emile that her son was born stillborn and Emile believes her bc she heard no cry from the baby
And she gave birth in Gotham bc she had gone to visit Harley while she was 7 or 8 months pregnant and gave birth to a premature baby and thinks it makes sense and really its Gotham Harley could've paid off the doctors to lie and such.
And so Adrien is given a good childhood yeah it's a bit crazy but hey at least he has a lot of freedom.

Hey Izuku having a quirk that allows him to see people's true intentions.
Ooo, a Quirk of such a nature would allow Izuku to break off from his toxic friendship with Bakugo early.
It would be help him as he’s able to correctly see a person’s true intentions through a representation of them, so he knows when someone is being deceptive towards him. One drawback I can see is that the Quirk only works if someone is interacting with only him, because it won’t work if he can’t tell how other people are acting towards others, what their intentions for them are unless the person had interacted with him first to let Izuku get a feel for their character.
I always love vigilante!Izuku AUs, but Hmm, let’s flip the script a little and maybe a young Izuku getting fed up with how people are to him because they think he’s Quirkless since his Quirk doesn’t show as it isn’t an active but passive Quirk that doesn’t really affect him physically, and it definitely doesn’t help him either with how some heroes he’s met are just so fake he wonders how anyone can stand their act, so he running away and meeting I want to say Stain, but maybe Mr. Compress first and later Stain? Izuku getting a feel of how the underground works with villains and then later meeting Stain and giving the guy some food for thought when it comes to fake and real heroes.
Izuku making a name for himself as “The Judge” working in tandem with Stain after he and Mr. Compress went their separate ways, Izuku helping Stain to judge the false heroes because even Stain could admit he had his hardships finding the real ones from the fakes since some fakes were really good at their acting. Before, with Compress, Izuku didn’t work as in the present light, but he got a name among the criminal underground still.
Underground heroes and the police were on the lookout for The Judge for a long time. They finally caught Izuku when Stain mistakes Tensei for a false hero before Izuku can stop him. Izuku had told Stain to run, the police caught him as Izuku was applying pressure to Ingenium’s wounds, which weren’t too bad, he didn’t get paralyzed from the waist down so no Iida revenge. The police were absolutely baffled that Izuku was a kid, and Tensei was shocked because Izuku was his brother’s age.
Izuku being made a deal that his criminal/villain past would be just that, his past, if he worked as a hero student at UA since he can gauge correctly people’s true intentions if they interact with him, and Nedzu knows of a traitor being in their midst after the USJ. Opportunity to get a powerful ally on their side as well as finding the bug in the system, win-win in Nedzu’s opinion after hearing about Izuku through a worried Tensei would felt responsible for the kid getting caught, even if Izuku had been working with Stain.
Anon, your brilliant mind is just that, brilliant. Stay creative!

Yagi is pretty understanding of Izuku’s behavior after spending time with him. Yagi also learned pretty quickly how to tell Izuku’s tells of when he was genuinely upset. He also learned never to let Izuku anywhere near scissors, after the one time where they were training and Yagi made the mistake of having Izuku train with potential weapons and saw how terrifying Izuku could wield a pair of scissors.
When Izuku got into class 1-A, Shouta had learned pretty quickly how Izuku operated. Being an underground hero gave him an advantage in spotting tells, since that was a crucial factor for his career since he needed to be aware of details of his surroundings and people in it more than a spotlight hero. He finds Izuku’s behavior both amusing and worrisome considering I feel he’d know the statistics of what Quirkless people go through. He does however understand the behavior is a way to show his strength and finds Izuku’s backhanded compliments to be somehow endearingly sweet. That being said, Shouta understands it, and like Yagi, never wants to see Izuku wield a pair of scissors again if it’s not in the field of battle - actual field of battle. (I don’t know why I’m so focused on scissors this reblog. -.-‘)
That teacher had been warned several times over by his fellow teachers not to get on Midoriya’s bad side. His fellow teachers had no sympathy. That teacher had to go to therapy for a long while after Izuku was done with him.
I loved that episode for that part alone! XD But can we toss in a green bomber jacket over top because I can see him wearing one and looking badass in it. It could also have deep storage pockets for spray cans, lighters, and other small weapons, including the butter sock!
Sir Nighteye’s beat down with the butter sock was something of legend. When All Might heard of what happened, he simply told his old sidekick he’s lucky Izuku didn’t do worse. Because he deserved worse in Yagi’s opinion. I would think working with Izuku for a while, mentoring him to have restraint, would open Yagi’s eyes as All Might to people feeling entitled over him and his life, and would feel Izuku was all in the rights. Nighteye had to REALLY re-evaluate himself after All Might told him as such.
Eri when Izuku finds her and saves her trying to be like Izuku because she thinks he’s awesome how he doesn’t let people walk all over him and can fight back against others without a Quirk to help him in doing so?
Idk why but...

… why is Revenge Party suddenly playing in my head? Like, no, seriously. Why.
But no, Izuku with the personality of one scary ass mean girl, I would go with Heather over Regina any day. Unless we’re talking about OUAT Regina, because she was badass on so many levels (the tree of guilt scene was just *chef’s kiss*).
Aldera never knew what hit it. The teachers never knew what they were dealing with until too late. The students never knew what they were dealing with until too late.
Izuku with social media as a tool, Izuku with style and a deceptively sweet smile that hid razors for teeth and a poison tongue.
Seriously, how does your mind work?! I love it!
Idk why but imagine...
Izuku having the personality of Heather Chandler or Regina George.
He would have Aldera Middle in their knees fearing him
Oooo Toga being Heather Duke
I'm just getting ideas now tbh

Carly was Sam’s restraint. It would make sense that All Might would see this Quirkless feral child with no hesitance to hurt those that would try impeding him from being successful and even if All Might has no intention of making Izuku his successor in making him Number Nine, Yagi also knows Izuku does need a mentor who won’t dismiss him and his potential. He would take it upon himself to be that mentor Izuku needs as a result.
Lmao maybe there was one time though and both Inko and Izuku made it awfully aware how wrong that teacher was. Inko commenting that her son never needed a Quirk to defend himself and Izuku commenting all the ways to break the teacher and get around his Quirk. As it was just “hypothetical”, the teacher couldn’t press charges since one, nobody would believe him anyways, and two, even those that would believe a kid threatened him knew better than to mess with Izuku since he’s proven time and again Quirks aren’t everything.
What do you suppose Izuku’s hero outfit would look like? For some reason I think a mix of biker and goth styles.
Ooo, if All Might does take Izuku on though as a student, Sir Nighteye misunderstanding and believing that Izuku has OFA and then getting the realization beaten into him? :)
Idk why but...

Considering the level of insanity that is the DC universe, why not? It’s Occam’s Razor for those that don’t want to mess with Harley’s insanity and personal life - though could you imagine if it was John Constantine that was the most rumored possibility? XD The rumor mill has a field day with Adrien.
Little kiddie Adrien likes being lifted to sit on King Shark’s shoulders because he’s ✨tall✨. And Ratcatcher 2 is a great babysitter to Adrien since he has no issue with the rats, loving to take naps with them.
Riddler I can see giving Adrien little riddles to solve and puzzles to work out, which Adrien enjoys because he doesn’t like being underestimated for his intelligence. Riddler doesn’t underestimate him and always gives him real thinker questions. I can see Selina teaching Adrien how to steal without being caught, as well as taking Adrien to the animal shelter to help with the animals since I can see her doing that, tbh. Adrien’s also got a following of stray animals because he’s nice to them …
Penguin demanding rights to teaching Adrien business when Adrien is shown to be a natural charmer?
Who would be the closest in age to Adrien in the Batfam when this kicks off? Tim? Damien? Either way, I can understand why - especially if Adrien shows a leaning towards not so morally right because of how his family is.

Au time! Izuku with a quirk that's similar to the Patchwork Bear from SCP. (If you don't know what SCP is it's basically this 'secret' organization that hides lots of dangerous and helpful creatures. Patchwork Bear is a bear that makes working human organs out of fabric. If he doesn't have any materials, he will take off his own fluff and fabrics off his body to make the organ, but he heals up quite quickly. I was thinking maybe his Mom became ill and needed a transplant of some kind and Izuku, having this urge to help his mother. So when the doctors are nowhere around, he snuck in, pulled his hair and skin and began to make an organ before pushing it in where the organ was in the body. Suddenly, his mom's okay, but her new organ looks like it's made from actual fabric, but it's not hurting her and she's healthier than ever.
Dear anon, that is genius!!
It could very well be that he and others believed himself Quirkless for a time until he got hurt and when alone found his skin peeling into a material as it became “ripped”.
Potentially, he could have tested the material out and found his hair thread-like by chance when experimenting with his Quirk. When he learns of his mother’s needing transplant surgery, it could have caused Izuku to try implementing making her a new organ if he overheard the hospital staff she wasn’t likely to get one in time as the doctor on Inko’s case was let’s go with Quirkist and so learning his patient was a single mother of a Quirkless child and that Inko herself had a weak Quirk saw no point, causing Izuku to make the new organ but also reveal evidence of the doctor’s wrongdoing to the police - anonymously- so that no other patients and their family had to go through that.
Inko knows it was Izuku, since she had been awake when he implanted her new organ. His confidence at first scared her because it seemed so unlike him, but she had to trust him that he knew what he was doing and it did work out in the end.
Izuku understood if anybody found out what had happened, he might be taken away as he can create organs that work. The hospital when realizing what Inko had had tried learning from her, but she had claimed to not have been awake when it happened. She had been questioned by Tsukauchi who knew she was lying, but he also understood the “donor” wanted to stay anonymous and knew for fact it was dangerous since this little “miracle” in wrong hands could be dangerous.
Izuku going the vigilante route in giving organs to those in need of them, supplying them to people in need, and interrupting the black market, would be an interesting route. Especially if Sir Nighteye investigated “The Patchwork Donor” as the mysterious vigilante is called, since All Might lost a good portion of his stomach, finding the mysterious vigilante to bring them in to help is something I can happening.
Again anon, brilliant idea!!

Iida I can understand as being more concerned because he’s worried that Izuku’s disadvantage could be taken advantage of by villains, but Izuku would prove him wrong pretty quickly. Iida just seems the more morally strict and his expectations are more shaped by what hero society has taught him so the learning experience would be what he actually needs.
I’ve always seen Jirou as a bitch mostly because of her insulting Denki and just a general disliking of her, so Jirou being condescending about Izuku being Quirkless and not fit to be a hero is something I can see, even if it’s just through snide remarks. I can see her though getting called out on her bullshit and being sent to Gen Ed until her shit got in order though, with a warning if she continues she wouldn’t get to stay at UA who doesn’t tolerate that behavior.
I can see Ojiro being like Iida, thinking Izuku’s lack of Quirk would be a disadvantage, but I can see him also being more likely to accept Izuku’s capabilities before Iida since Ojiro’s Quirk only gives him a prehensile tail, which isn’t flashy, and isn’t all that useful except as an extra limb he’s had to learn to use in combat. Combat he’s had to learn through hard work.
Inko would never say, but she took great pleasure in being able to see the reactions of people who thought they could walk over her baby just because he wasn’t born with a Quirk, and seeing them scared out of their wits by her son made her absolutely gleeful!
Idk why but...

Interesting concept. With Adrien having been raised by Harley and Ivy, it would be more than likely questioned as to where he came from. Some rumors might be he was stolen, others he’s actually the son of the Joker depending on which timeline you go with of how soon Harley left Joker before getting with Ivy and kidnapping Adrien.
I kinda feel that Adrien would be loved by the (surviving) members of the Suicide Squad if Harley ever let them meet him. I can see him and Deadshot’s daughter Zoe getting along in that case, since both’s parents are considered bad guys unless Harley retired to be a more neutral party since she didn’t want to risk Adrien being taken away by social services.
Not that they’d be able to stop her.
I can guess that Ivy would inject an anti-poisons shot into Adrien to make him immune to toxic fumes and the like, like she did with Harley, and he would be trained in gymnastics because Harley would want him to have those tricks up his sleeve.
How would the other rogues of Gotham and even others feel about him? The Batfam too?

Oh, ouch. XD
Iida def misunderstood, and finding out his teammate got hit repeatedly with a sock filled with butter? He doesn’t know whether Izuku went overboard or what.
Would anybody in class 1-A - aside from Mineta who I can guess being like that - be Quirkist and say Izuku shouldn’t be in the class because he’s Quirkless?

… pfft XD All Might used his brain. No giving the already powerful child another power point.
I kinda feel sorry for him now. How Sam was with Freddie was absolutely brutal. And undeserved (in Freddie’s case, I can see Bakugo deserving of getting hit with fruit.)
So would that mean in the heroes vs villains challenge, Katsuki would leave it to Iida to face Izuku to let someone else deal with Izuku who has permission to unleash havoc? Or would he still face him?

Bakugo has trauma(TM) from the butter sock, even when he won’t admit it. He’s had less times beaten with the butter sock in UA than back in middle school because he’s learned, but whenever he shows certain behaviors, Izuku isn’t afraid to get swingy with it.
1-A collectively shudders whenever Izuku brings out the butter sock because they remembered the old butter. Butter should never look so moldy.
Shigaraki can’t look at socks and butter the same way after getting repeatedly hit by it.
Dabi can’t either.
Monoma has also felt the wrath of the butter sock.
Izuku getting told he can’t be a hero by All Might and then decides to be a spiteful bastard so goes through with applying to UA, passive aggressively dealing destruction to All Night’s mental health. Nedzu approves. Aizawa approves.
