So, this one's to Perry, Candace, and Phineas, how did you announce you were having kids to your family?

"Well," Perry began "Since it was twins, it was a bigger reveal than the others, so when we were doing the gender reveal- indoors and with balloons- instead of blue or pink it was a big 2-shaped balloon. everyone freaked out, of course, but we had no idea of their actual sexes until they were born, we wanted to keep it a surprise for ourselves." He explained

"how i told Heinz, though, was through one of those cutout buntings in the shape of a baby, i showed him the first and he was thrilled, but he almost fainted when i opened it to show two of them. He said he would've spun me around, but he didn't want to hurt the babies."

Candace looked out into the yard at Fred and Xavier, who were modifying their backyard tree into a robot "We announced Amanda's over a family dinner, but kept Fred's a secret until he was born." she explained "the joke was on us, though, cuz we had no idea we were having twins until i was having Xavier. Phineas almost screamed when he saw them"

Phineas paused in his invention wiring and looked up "Oh, we did at a family dinner too, but in a different way than Candace." he chuckled "We convinced everyone to take a group picture, which we do every year so nobody suspected anything, and i was the one to do the '1 2 3 say cheese' thing, except i said '1 2 3 isa's pregnant'! and managed to get a picture of their faces. Everything got pretty chaotic afterwards, we were only 15 after all, so our parents were pretty conflicted, but they fell in love with Ryen when he arrived."

He smiled "Candace and Ferb weren't too impressed with me, of course, but they got over it pretty quickly to be excited for us instead. Ferb literally showed up in his waistcoat-formal OWCA uniform at Ryen's birth to "make a good first impression"" he laughed "I didn't get to one up him, though, i was in hospital when Noah was born, and they were states away from Danville."

"Marti's birth, though, i showed up in a full suit with a cape to make up for not being overly dramatic at Noah's birth, Ferb loved it. His girlfriend was...well, asleep, actually"

Wait, phineas, you almost died??

Phineas sighs and nods “Yeah, i know i’m repeating myself, but i was 19 when it happened. According to the doctors, the vines of my arm had dug into me and wrapped around my lungs, and would’ve gotten to my heart if they hadn’t of removed it entirely.”

Isabella came up behind him “It was terrifying, especially since we already had a 3 year old and a 1 year old at that point. I was in the park with them when i got the call from Candace that Phineas had suddenly collapsed, they had no idea what was going on.”

“I was in the dormitory on campus with my girlfriend at the time, Noah was only a month or two old, but we raced down as soon as we could.” Ferb added “I was so scared, i really thought i was going to lose my brother”

“Me, Jeremy, and Stacy helped Mom and Dad take care of all the kids once everyone was there,” Candace continued “My kids were old enough to remember it, but they handled it so well. I remember having just handed them off to Jeremy when i went to visit him and saw Ferb breaking down at his bedside. It was really hard.”

“It got to a point where Phineas had to be put on oxygen, as the doctors were struggling to find a safe way to get the vines off of his lungs without piercing them with the thorns.” Baljeet explained “Me and Buford were in france at the time, we got a same-day flight home as soon as we heard.”

“I had never seen Ferb cry before that. We knew it was bad, but once Ferb was actually cryin’, that’s when i started to freak. I think me n’ candace considered those two to be invincible, so seeing them like...well, that really scared us.” Buford went on

Phineas smiled “But i’m okay now! they removed the arm and i recovered well, it was honestly really touching to know how much everyone cared. Thankfully, i don’t remember it, just the moments before i collapsed and when i woke up after i stabilized. The recovery was smooth physically, but mentally i took a hit. Turns out, almost dying gives you lasting trauma, who knew?”

“anyway, 12 years later, and i’m doing great now. thanks for the concern and the ask!”

“Oh, i did!” Candace smiled, putting down the dish she was cleaning to gesture to the three teenagers outside “Well, i got one more than intended, actually. We didn’t know Xavier had a twin until Jeremy went into labour. At the time it wasnt such a brilliant surprise, but now we adore them.”

Jeremy adds on in the background “I’m never doing that again, love, no offense”

Ferb smiled wistfully “Well, my mother was a wonderful lady, and a brilliant agent.” he sighed, switching to sign “(But, a villain’s goon broke in when i was a month old and killed her. Perry saved me from getting killed too, but i still got a scar on my shoulder for the trouble.)” “(If i’m honest, i don’t remember her at all. But, between what i’ve heard from dad, uncle perry, and the agents who worked with her, i’m pretty confident when i say i’m proud to be her son.)”

Phineas, in the other room, set down his blueprint “Well, he died a few years back, but he was a villain.” he began “apparently, he divorced mom when i was a baby for reasons i never asked about, and just...never bothered to visit, or anything. Mom gave me the oppurtunity to meet him when i was 18, and turns out me n’ candace have a half brother, his name’s Damian, he’s like a few months older than her, plus he has kids now too, so i’m twice an uncle!” he smiled “Damian’s cool, but dad was...he wasn’t great, but he wasn’t entirely awful, so i’d give him like, a 5/10?”

He sighed “Although, thanks to dad mutating his arm into a plant vine in ‘evil college’, it passed down to both his sons, so Damian has a vine arm and i had one. Not in the ‘07 period, but it started changing when i was about 12. I didn’t get it removed until i was 19, though, cuz i thought it was harmless...” “One near-death stay at the hospital taught me otherwise. My arm’s a prosthetic now, Heinz helped me make it,”

He fidgeted with his plans “Now, uh, Arlan has it, and we think Tavey might develop it later on too? Which is, uh, stressful at times, and we’re keeping a close eye on them both, but so far it’s not life threatening or anything”

“Uh, what was the original topic?” he re-read the ask “Oh, right, my dad. uh, 5/10 dad, 10/10 half-bro, 3/10 plant arm, points for coolness” he chuckled “thanks for asking, and for letting me ramble”

Isabella rubs the back of her neck “well, 5 was our limit, buut...” she glances at a sheepish Phineas, who stepped up “Nature seemed to disagree, so there’s a 6th on the way,” Phineas explained, fidgeting with his hands “Atleast we’ll be even with Ferb now!” Isabella giggled and kissed Phineas’ cheek “Way to be optimistic, love.” she turned to the anon “6 is definitely our limit, i’m only a month along, though, so we’ve yet to pick names. I have a few in mind, though.”

Ferb shook his head “No, 6 is definitely enough for me, thanks.”

Vanessa sat down on the couch “I’m 4 months along, but it’s Carl’s this time. the last three were Monty’s. Honestly, it’s all thanks to dad’s ignoring the laws of biology, because both of them are trans and i’m cis, so it’s almost entirely thanks to dad that i’m the one that’s carried them, of my own accord of course.” She picked up a book- written by herself- and started reading “We’re going for another M name, though, carl likes the alliteration. I’m hoping it’s a girl this time, there are more than enough boys in this family.”

Heinz chuckled nervously “No, 4′s good, i think we’re too old to be raising a newborn now anyway.” Perry appeared from behind him, signing “(Furbabies, however-)”

Candace smiled “Nah, i have my perfect family, 3′s enough for me.”

Peter and Mystery shared a glance “Well,” Mystery began “We don’t want anymore kids, but we have seen another version of us with...well, a lot more of them. I think the author got a bit carried away with us at first, but i’m glad we have the ones we do.”

Pinky paced the floor of his lair “Well, maybe another one? having two sounds uh, nice, but I-i’m not sure, i haven’t made up my mind, so i guess its a tbd for now.”

“as for pronouns...hm,” hug hummed thoughtfully “theres no real theme to them, their just whatever i feel comfortable with! like, hug/hugs or straw/berry, i also use emojiself pronouns, but you cant technically say those outloud.” hug explained, then looked across the yard to Isabella.

“Hey, Isabella!” hug called, and isabella turned to look at hug “our friend wants to know our labels and pronouns!”

Phineas perks up, putting down his book, “A lot of us do!” he chimed, leaning back against the giant oak in his backyard, “i’m a pronoun and gender hoarder, so i have a bunch of both, but i just use pangender and all pronouns as umbrella terms, i’m fine with anything!” she started “although sometimes i prefer one pronoun set over the others, and i’ll put that on a pin, and sometimes change my presentation to fit it better!”

“a lot of us ‘originals’ are catgenders, and ferb’s like, musicagender and some other interesting ones, a lot of us overlap!” xe continued, waving their hands around expressively “Isabella’s a pronoun and gender hoarder like me! but she uses genderfluid + bigender and they/them as umbrella terms until she can specify! today’s a she day for her!” pup smiled excitedly, “her genders are super cool too!”

“actually, i think all of us are super cool! mr peter’s partner, Miggs, is pronounfluid, and i think Carl and Monty have their own ones too! I’d go on forever if i asked them and got the full list together, but those are the main ones i know about!” stim finished, stretching out and picking glows book back up. “If you want their specifics, i doubt they’d mind telling you!”
