This started out as a weight loss/wellness only account but I use it for so much more. I plans for even more. Yes there will still be LOTS of weight loss stuff, and tons of transformation pics, & food pictures. I want this to be a lifestyle account though, so I’m going to share more about my personal life, product reviews, my hobbies, mental health, positivity, experiences, make up, whatever. • As for the weight loss numbers. In April of 2016 I weighed 285 pounds. In December of 2017 I got down to 145 pounds & maintained that weight for two years. Over the last year, I’ve gained some weight back due to losing my focus. I’m currently 177 pounds. Still a long way from my highest, but not where I want to be. Weight loss isn’t the most important thing in the world, but being consistent with my nutrition makes me feel in control. Being at my lowest weight was when I felt the most confident. • So over this next year- I have a goal to lose 32 pounds & im taking you along with me! My personal plan, for the next 6 weeks is to do high protein keto, the gallon challenge every day, and work out 5X a week for at least 30 minutes. You don’t have to do the same type of eating as me to be successful. This is just what I’ve found that works the best for my body. I’ll root you on for doing whatever healthy looks like to you! • My biggest tip for weight loss- is to change your mentality around weight loss. Don’t look at it as “I hate my body so I’m going to punish myself with a diet that I hate”. Look at it as “I feel good when I eat good, & I deserve to feel good.” I’m not doing this “diet” or lifestyle change because I HAVE to. I’m doing it because I want to. Hi all,
I am sharing my weight loss success story here which I always thought was a nightmare.
Total weight loss: 20 kgs.
Duration: 4 months
Waist inches lost: 6 inches
Size : XXL to Small.

From the day I was born, I was chubby.
I was a studious kid since my school days, did my MBBS, then MD. During my school days and even during my MBBS days, I was chubby but not overweight till my final year MBBS. It was during my internship, due to erratic sleeping time and food habits, I put on ten kgs of weight in one year. It was an unimaginable weight gain for me. Next two years was spent on entrance preparation for post graduation. Thank God I was maintaining the same, in those two years though I was only sitting and studying.
I did my MD from 2012 to 2015. After completing my MD in 2015, I went to Delhi for an interview. I should say that is a turning point in my life in regards to weight loss. I met my MBBS senior there whom I could not recognise at all as she had transformed a lot. She became one third of what she was before. It was such an amazing transformation. The moment I saw her, I was impressed and got motivated to start my journey on weight loss.
I was trying to reduce my weight after my MD since September, 2015. I used to reduce some weight (maybe 3 to 4 kgs in 5 months) but gained back due to stress or exams ( I was giving entrance exams for super specialty every 6 months) or whatever the reason it was. I lost 7 to 8 kgs in two years and was maintaining the same when I was in Delhi. I did regular gymming and was diet conscious.
In 2017, I had ligament injury in foot and was immobilised on Plaster of Paris cast for three weeks and it took another three weeks for me to walk normally. So this time I regained the lost weight of 6- 7 kgs. I joined for fellowship and completed my studies in 2019. For me, health and looks always took a lower priority as I was busy with studies and exams.In the long run, I realised that I lacked perseverance and consistency. I was in a cycle of reducing and putting on weight due to stress or exams.
Feeling of regret stuck me at a point that I took a strong decision to work on my weight loss and not give up till I reach my target.
