Enjoying the wedding season and draining all my social energy. Hopefully once this is all over, I'll start studying seriously again. I have and exam in December and had so many assignments to do in the last few days.

This was my Diwali rangoli. I clicked this photo right after making it (thankfully). It got ruined because a wire magically (I don't know whose fault it was so let's blame it on magic) fell on it. I tried some damage control but it got ruined again when I accidentally hit a shoe and it slid right on the rangoli. So this is the only good photo of the short lived beauty of my rangoli.

I was extremely happy because my teacher gave an amazing remark on my poem. My parents got this balloon without me having to ask them so another reason to be happy. Life can be unexpectedly good sometimes.

I accidentally knocked down this glass bottle that my sister painted. My mom takes care of the plant. I was very sad after this but I also like broken glasses in a weird way. My sister said she's paint another bottle for me but I still feel a little guilty about this.

I think I found the perfect example of "don't judge a book by it's cover". The contrast between what I thought this book would be like and what it actually is, is so stark, I'm stunned. I haven't read the entire book yet but more than 100 pages into it and I don't understand why there's a white girl on the cover of a book about the struggles of black people.

Went upstairs to see if there was a rainbow but saw a hamster climbing the curve of the sun today or maybe a dragon eating the sun instead. Listening to a thousand years after ages right now. It's deserves being overrated, it's so beautiful.

July 15, Thursday
I was down with fever and cold for 3 days, hoping I wasn't covid positive. Thankfully I wasn't. Felt fresh after a 5 days of sickness and post sickness phase. My classes this semester are over and my exams got cancelled. I do want to study more but I also want to enjoy and take things slow right now since I can. But I'm just going with the flow at the moment.
