Outfoxed!

Roxanna Reynard, a character I Co-created with writer Ferg Handley for the short lived football comic Foul.

I came across a scan of the black and white line art for this drawing and thought it would be fun to colour it.

The original was commissioned by Arild Wærnes one of the organisers of Raptus the Norwegian comic festival.

I was commissioned to create a mascot for a coffee bar, with a design influenced by 1930’s rubber hose style animation.

I sent my initial five pencil designs, at this point the “client” stopped responding to my messages, no payment was made.

Zombie Spaceman

This started out as an Inktober sketch. I scanned the drawing, used Adobe Capture to clean up and smooth the ink lines and then coloured it in Clip Studio Paint.

Steampunk Willie

Today, Steamboat Willie the first cartoon featuring Mickey Mouse entered the public domain.

This means Disney has lost the Copyright to the earliest iteration of Mickey Mouse.

This version of the mouse was, Black and White, had long skinny appendages with no gloves on his hands, didn’t speak and had solid black eyes. Disney still hold the copyright to all other versions and more importantly still retains the Mickey Mouse trademark.
