What Did We Learn From Covid?

These days, a conventional wisdom has settled in that we somehow overreacted to Covid. That our response went too far, and we are now past those silly times. Here's the lesson to take away: we didn't do enough. Trump's response was idiotic and catastrophic (does anyone remember him saying blue state governors "have to treat us well" if they want coronavirus help?). Over 1.1 million Americans have died. Countless lives have been shattered by Long Covid. We let the virus be politicized by opportunists, and allowed false narratives about governments "controlling" us to dominate our media. The hard choices that were made to prevent even more death and suffering are now, ludicrously, seen as mistakes.

The Bearded Vulture is the only known animal whose diet is almost exclusively bone.

The bone-eating giant bird which coats itself minerals like copper to get its rusty hue for unknown cosmetic reasons, most likely to show dominance. The brighter the hue, the more dominant the male.

They probably need the copper because its anti-bacterial properties. useful if you’re a carrion eater.

The bird has a 9 ft wingspan.

Bearded Vultures provide an indispensable service to the ecosystem, checking the spread of disease by consuming corpses. But the bearded’s diet is 95 percent bone. It can wait for the other scavengers to strip the body clean, then stroll in at its leisure to take its fill.

back to this topic but, I hate the idea that artists specifically have to draw one thing and if they dare as to branch out into doing horny/erotic art it's looked down upon because it's not "wholesome" or whatever the fuck people say nowadays. erotism has always existed in art for centuries and there is nothing wrong with that. art is art no matter what it is.
