thinking now too about this one quote on the character of ophelia from hamlet that goes "when ophelia appears singing little songs and handing out imaginary flowers, she’s proof that adolescent girls don’t just go out of their minds for the fun of it. they’re driven there by people in their lives who should have known better."

ok but an adult wendy going back to n.everland but seeing it v differently as an adult versus as a child, because children are far more comfortable with things that should be disturbing because they don't know any better, a la a.iw 2010's wonderland/underland concept and prince c.aspian (film version) "you may find narnia a more savage place than you remember"

thinking again about how the basic narrative concept of the 2010 aiw remake ( young adult woman returns to the fantasy land of her youth to save it, ultimately decides to return to her home world because she has her own goals she needs to achieve and to establish her independence ) would work v v well for wendy

#i mean. aiw 2010 and p.eter and w.endy in their most basic forms are the same story of the hero's journey / portal fantasy. #only one is 19 and the other is a 13 year old girl. #so -technically- it is already the story of p and w. i just think it would be a neat concept if it had been applied to adult wendy. #▓ ▌▌ out of stories ( ooc. )
