Finally picked up comics again. Love everything this book has been doing, even tho it feels meandering. Gorgeous art, great suit, and hopefully a new Ben that sticks this time around.

One of my favorite Avengers lineup of all time. Being the first headliners after the 616 reboot these characters are here to show us that the stories being told before the incursions still held weight. We have a Thor and a Captain America with Spidey kind of filling in for Iron Man having a Parker Industries suit. Throw in the new Wasp as another legacy name who really shines bright, not only in this series but as a stand out among her younger name taking contemporaries. Of course Herc and the Vision are some of my favorites and round out the roster to a lovable strange bunch that end up feeling like a family.
The art both on the inside and outside is remarkable and watching these characters grow into this rebooted universe is very exciting. From seeing Falcon turn in the shield to Vision‘s constant struggle with humanity this series ended too soon. There were some subjects handled poorly that needed more time to breathe like Sam’s relationship with Thor or Nadia’s random dismay for Spidey, I loved the characters’ inteactions and this just left me wanting more. I’m just so happy these guys were chosen to herald the Avengers name into a new era. Sidenote the Inhumans ad is so funny now after the release of the movie Doctor Strange 2, give it a watch if you haven’t already!
