mingyu would do just about anything for you. scratch that — mingyu will do absolutely anything and everything for you. his friends sometimes worry he's obsessed; a simp, they joke sometimes, but there's an underlying concern in their jesting. he'd travel to the ends of the earth for you, even on hands and knees if you told him to. he's possessed, they think, as they watch him dote on you, answer your every beck and call.

you call it devotion. from the way he lovingly cooks your shared meals and massages your feet after a long day to how he worships your body. it's almost religious, the way he takes care of you.

of course sometimes you worry it's too much, that you're asking for too much of him (you never have to ask) and that all this care for you is working him raw (he'd bleed for you if that's what you needed). mingyu reassures you when those thoughts start getting a little too loud for your comfort.

"it's how i show my love for you, darling." he whispers into the crown of your head as he holds you, tight and warm in only the way mingyu could be. "i'd do more if i could."

18. Stalker

This was the day that Wonwoo, Vernon, and the one who took the picture and posted on Instagram meet, at the restaurant of Wonwoo's mother.

As they were waiting on this Wonwoo's stalker, his mother gave them iced tea to ease them up cause they're so intense when they get there at the restaurant.

"Who will you meet today? You seem very tense today." Wonwoo's mother said.

"Ma, it is someone we don't know and we have something to discuss with them. Something serious." Wonwoo said calmly but deep inside he's agitated.

"Okay, I'll leave you two it."

"Sorry auntie, and thank you for this lovely drink." Vernon said politely and Wonwoo's mother gave her a smile.

After 15 minutes, she arrived and spotted them immediately.

This stalker is cute, little, flat 5, but has an aura that you wouldn't like at all.

She sits where Wonwoo and Vernon are immediately, and she's quite a chatterbox.

"So, why did you two want to meet me up?"

She said cheerily even though she knows the answer.

'Why would you even care to ask if you know the answer already?' as Wonwoo thinks of what he's going to say but Vernon interrupted him as he knew what he was going to say to her stalker that she might not like.

"As upon agreement, we are here for this matter, right?" Vernon put his phone face on her and pointed out where her account and the posted picture on Instagram. "You see, we don't want any trouble, if you're not going to put this down, we'll take legal action as far as we are concerned."

"You think you can threaten me with those words of yours?" She said cockily. "Try and sue me, you don't have any evidence that it is me who posted it."

With her stupidity, Vernon cock a smile and tells her "If you're not the one who posted this, why did you come here and sit here as if you know who you will meet up?" The stalker immediately was dumbfounded with her small tiny acts.

"I-"

"Admit it. We just want you to shut this off pleadingly, if you want something, please do not drag other people. You can take a pictures all you want with him but do not drag an innocent girl in this." Vernon said beggingly and pointed Wonwoo.

"Okay, okay! But in one condition."

Vernon and Wonwoo look at each other and ask synchronically "What is it?"

"Please take a picture of me and Wonwoo." the stalker said with shy remarks and Vernon was so confused but he took her phone and did it immediately.

"After this, you have to promise to delete that post and put this in your post instead." Wonwoo said, he was still reluctant to take a picture with her stalker but did it anyway.

"Okay!" She said with a puppy look in her eyes.

They have finished taking a picture and the stalker showed the two of them that she deleted the picture.

Vernon added "If we see this picture one more time on social media, we're going to take action, legally."

"You have my word." She stood up and walked away satisfied with having a picture of Wonwoo and her.

The tense ease up and Wonwoo drinks his water.

"You recorded the audio, right? We needed evidence as much as possible so that we can take this matter legally." Vernon said

"Wow Vernon, I've never been impressed by you, not until right now." Wonwoo said with an amazement.

"Hyung, I can be reliable at times." Vernon said proudly "and look, she posted the two of you and the caption said... I had an amazing date with him today."

"She can do whatever she wants with me but don't drag y/n into her mess." He said as if he wants to throw a punch "this is so dragging." He said helplessly.

"Should I call y/n on this matter? She also feels helpless as if it was the end of the world." Vernon said.

Wonwoo just nod and look at his phone with the wallpaper home screen of y/n's picture in it.

Vernon called you and said "y/n, we patch it up. You can rest assured and go to his account again."

With your sigh of relief you just thank Vernon so many times already.

Little did you and Wonwoo know that he's been falling, but he is still getting there.

Wonwoo saw how Vernon smiled as if she saved his girl from the accusation and Wonwoo's mind seething in jealousy and think 'How can he sit there, laugh and happily smiling while talking with you.'

He held those thoughts so tightly and looked away.

Vernon saw through him and made his call to you in loud speaker. "Oh, he took a picture of her and Wonwoo? Is she a stalker?" You said.

"Yup, that is why instead of posting you and Wonwoo out of jealousy, she posted herself and Wonwoo and looked at the caption said." Vernon said while laughing.

"I had an amazing date with him today." You said loudly. "That's not a date though! That's negotiating. " You said protestingly.

Wonwoo smiles at the back not looking on Vernon, but Vernon really laughed out loud as if he's laughing at your joke but in reality he is laughing at his hyung.

With that, y/n end her call.

"Who's that lucky girl you're calling with?" Wonwoo's mother said.

"Oh, it's not my girl, it is hyung's girl." Vernon said pointing out Wonwoo.

"My son's girl? You mean, that young beautiful girl that I met last time? OmO"

17. Hot Issue

It's been a week since you and Wonwoo talked to each other.

You two keep your plates loaded as if you don't have time to think about the things that were said and done when you two were having fun together. You don't have time to reminisce about the joyous days that you've had with him and almost forgot the time when Wonwoo was filming you with passion in his eyes.

You know to yourself that you fell harder, but you keep denying it, because every bit of it was your first time.

You were scrolling and surfing your Instagram when suddenly you saw someone post of Wonwoo without knowing someone took a picture of him in the library. He was looking at the girl who was sleeping at the end of the library with an open book on her face.

Then the caption says "The girl is lucky. I wish I was her. He's so handsome."

"O M G." you said to yourself and panicked because you don't know what to do if they knew you were the girl in that pic.

You looked through the comments and read some part of it that really hurt you.

"She looks ugly in that position. Why is she attracting this handsome man?"

"Omo. Why is she sleeping in the library? Is this her way to seduce a man? If so, it is quite effective. Hahaha"

You can't look through another comments anymore. You can't even tell it to your brother because he warned you for Pete's sake to not get too close with him and now you finally open your eyes.

Tears streaming down in your face and feels like you're getting out of breath. Your breathing is not normal and with a quick reaction, you ran to the kitchen to drink a bottle of water. It almost killed you.

You immediately screenshot the picture and test Wonwoo immediately.

"Wonwoo, help me. Someone spotted you at the end of the library. I know I'm the girl who was sleeping. Please let them put down the post." You were shaking and tried to reread the message again before sending it. You breathe in and out. As you were about to send it. You think of someone.

Vernon.

Yes, you can rely on him cause he was popular and have the power to let the poser take down the post on Instagram with his friend in it. Instead, you erase your message to Wonwoo and text your brother first to get Vernon's number.

"Oppa, what's Vernon's number? I need it ASAP. xx"

As you click sent, you were waiting for Vernon's reply.

He quickly read your messages and typed.

As you read his message with a sigh of relief in your face.

You kept thinking what Wonwoo did while you were sleeping. You thought that nobody can see you on that spot that's why you slept like almost a log.

"What did you do Wonwoo? You're messing with my head and it really freaks me out."

Vernon quickly messaged the poser and said he would like to meet up with him and discuss the photo he posted on Instagram. He would like to negotiate it ASAP and text Wonwoo after that.

"Hyung, someone took a stolen shot of you and I am negotiating it right now."

"What shot?"

"I think it was in the library and y/n was sleeping on the floor. She contacted me because of the post."

He was shocked to see the image that someone stole a shot on him and got y/n into this mess. His brother should not know it at all cost.

Wonwoo typed and messaged Vernon.

"Meet me at the café. Right now."

They meet as soon as possible and talk things through about it.

"Did the owner of the account reply already?"

"Not yet. But you can sue this poser if we can't reach this guy or else, y/n might get in trouble."

Wonwoo wrinkled his brow as if he were disappointed. But he knows, he was not disappointed, he is jealous.

He needs to calm down first and think properly because this issue was his priority so that no one can get in trouble.

As he was thinking

"The poser replied. It said 'meet me tomorrow at 3 pm in this place at Seafood Restaurant.' and yeah, this dude gave me the location as well."

"Why? Isn't it obvious? I was embarrassed that he saw me sleeping at the library, what face am I going to show if I saw him?"

"Pffft. HAHAHA" Vernon laughed as if there's no other people in the café.

Wonwoo made it smile because you were still thinking of him.

"What's so funny?"

"Oh, nothing. I thought it was something serious."

"It is THAT serious. I'll hang up now. My brother is here."

You hang up.

"Oppa, what are you doing here?"

"Food. You don't have anything in your ref."

"Cause I never eat it."

You calm down and tell him your white lie straight face.

"I need a favor with him and mind your own business."

"Ok. If you say so." He said without prying and that he could trust you. He also added "If you need Woozi's number, I'll leave it to your message later. I'm going back now."

As he left, you felt joy that he's not suspicious of you and what's more, he even gave you Woozi's number.

16. Fine Line

You forgot to reply back to Wonwoo due to stress, worry and anxiety that you have. You were crying that night because you can't express how heavy it is to you that you're being emotional in a certain level of stress. If you're having a difficult time, you have a habit of meditating on a silent surroundings and make sure you are feeling what you are feeling as of the moment. You turn off your phone for about an hour so there will be no distraction that can cause your trigger.

You are concerned that his feelings will not be reciprocated by your feelings, and you're anxious about it which can lead to emotional exhaustion. However, Wonwoo is worried about you, not to himself, because you're out of reach at the moment, and he's anxious because it causes him distress that he won't be able to reach you until that night and there might be something that happened to you.

Wonwoo, on the other hand, was about to call you because you didn't reply to his text message that night. He was so worried that as soon as possible he texted your brother, Seungcheol. He didn't even think if your brother would be suspicious on his motive to you but for some reason, that there is a fine line that you two are feeling worried and having anxiety but different situation.

"Hyung, can you reach y/n?"

"No. I think she's busy at the moment. I went to her place last night. Why?"

Wonwoo drew his line and stopped texting you and withdrew himself when he is about to went to your place. He kept his posture calm and thought rationally even though he thinks of you but as he remembers what your brother said, he began to know his place and the surging emotion began to mixed up.

Things will get awkward again between you and Wonwoo. There's almost a big wall that hinders what you both feel and think. The feelings are mutual but the action contradicts.

"Oppa, what are you doing here?" You're in shock that you saw your brother in your own apartment waiting for you to come home.

"Exactly. Where are you? I keep calling you." He shrugs and added "Is there anything you need to explain why you're not answering your phone?"

"I was busy, at that moment." You said while not keeping an eye contact to your brother.

"Busy? Then look at me straight in the eye and tell me then?" He said while raising his left brow with sudden suspicion of your whereabouts.

"It's nothing. Really..." You can't keep your eye contact and your brother's suspicions turn into interrogation.

"So, if it was nothing then, you have to tell me your whereabouts." He crossed his arms, make a face into giving you IDGAF on what you're going to lie next.

"Fine! I met Wonwoo on my way out today, happy?" You gave up and said the truth.

"You what?" He yelled at you as if he was against it already. Then he added "We're going to debut soon and you need to distance yourself to them."

"You never said that I need to distant myself with them. And I know you're going to debut soon. I'll promise that I'm not going to see him again. It's just this once, because I met his mom and I didn't know that his mom was the owner of the Seafood restaurant near in our apartment." You reason out.

"You met auntie?"

"So, you do know that his mother is the owner of that restaurant?"

"I hope so." Said your brother as if again thinking your mind and you were so shock about it but remained composed.

As soon as Wonwoo let you go and went to apartment he started browsing the videos and photos that you did together at the park. He can't stop staring at your photo- the one stolen picture he did while you were oblivious of what he is doing at the moment. It was the time when he is waiting for you at the cafeteria while walking through the door. He took a glimpse of you as if he was seeing an angel fallen from the sky. He subconsciously didn't know that he was already smiling as he was thinking of you while looking at your pictures.

"I am going to treasure this." Blabbering to himself.

Before you went into your bed, you took a bath and make any ritual in there as you want to smell good after laying down in your bed. As you finish everything you are in your bed and can't stop thinking about Wonwoo and at the same time you're being reflective of what your brother said to you. It devours you cause you know that this happiness you are feeling right now is temporary and it will be disaster afterwards once you don't stop sooner or later of what is going to happen that will makes you euphoric. You have a curse that when you're happy today, it will be disastrous tomorrow and that is why you are taking cautious now and being calculative and consider your brother's advice to you.

"I just want to last this day. I was so happy that I get to know you... Wonwoo." You said to yourself looking at the screen of your phone with Wonwoo's messages to you.

As you were about to sleep a text message came from Wonwoo suddenly appears into your cell and it said.

"I had a great time. I am going to give you the copy once I am done with it. Goodnight."

Those words melted you and as if you are in cloud nine but suddenly feel rush of sadness and cried because you hate this feeling.

And it is not good.

14. Date

Today is the day where y/n and Wonwoo are going to have lunch together and for the first time, y/n did not know how to act someone she likes as she is still discovering herself and right now, she did not know what to wear on a date and how to not overdress during their first date. She doesn't have any girl friends because of her traumatic experience that happened to her when she was in highschool. Y/n did not want her brother to know about this because she can't bear to see how and what he'll do if he knows that her sister is into Wonwoo.

Maybe having a crush on someone is a little too naive, but all y/n could think of is she wants to be happy at least for once. She never felt like this before even though they will become friends, perhaps it may lead to something more than that.

Y/n watched the clock and it was already ten o'clock in the morning. She feels the pressure because she needs to do a make over and make a first impression. But, she thinks to herself that 'if I do this, he'll think we're on a date even though this is just a treat for helping his mother or whatever reason is. Then, why am I overreacting on what he said? I should keep it cool and should not expose that I am having a crush on him.'

Instead, you took out your casual clothes into your wardrobe like your everyday outfit and as if you're not trying to impress this handsome man who won't be named as Jeon Wonwoo- and you're ready to go out with your simple casual outfit which is white shirt and jeans.

You've just arrived on time but it seems like Wonwoo is too early at the cafe and ordered a coffee already. As you walked through the door, he waived at you as if he was trying to say that he was here and waiting for you already.

"Did I get off too late? For how long you were waiting?" You said with a concern to your face, because in your principle, it is inconsiderate to wait for someone for too long due to lack of being considerate to other people. They are giving you their time just to see you.

He smiled and said "No. Actually, I am too early for our meet up." And he added

"And it is inconsiderate of me if I am the one who is late because I was the one who initiates to invite you and also this is my treat for you."

"Oh, actually I also did the same when I invited someone, I am the one who is early. Being polite to other people is a must." You said as if the conversation started with you two already.

It's a miracle as you went to see Wonwwo, you were so calm and you're not melting any time soon cause he doesn't give you butterflies in your stomach, unlike yesterday where you're about to explode thinking of him.

"So, what do you want to order? Like I said, it's my treat. Just pick whenever you want." He said proudly. You browsed the menu and you were craving for spaghetti and ice cream as a dessert.

"I will take spaghetti and ice cream, please." You said to him and he said to the waiter "make it two, please. Thank you."

"Coming right up!" The waiter said.

You look at your surroundings, you said to yourself 'why there no people here and why are we the only ones here? Every lunch, there are at least five or seven people eating their lunch here, how come they are none?'

Wonwoo glanced at you and seemed curious about what you were thinking about and said "A penny for your thoughts?"

"Oh. I was just wondering why there is no one coming in here at the cafe. I mean, every lunch it's at least five or seven people are here to eat."

"Hmm, who knows. Maybe it's for you to find out." Wonwoo said as if he knows something that you don't know.

"Here's your spaghetti and ice cream. Enjoy." The waiter said with a smile and went back to the counter.

You dig in immediately as they served you your food. You are savouring the flavor and the taste of spaghetti cause the last time you ate spaghetti was last year, on your birthday. No wonder you were craving one.

"Did you like it that much?" Wonwoo asked and you immediately nod with satisfaction.

Little did you know that Wonwoo found you cute with your gestures and how you may look childish while eating spaghetti.

"You know, last year was the last time I ate this food, that is why I am craving for one." You said while the food is in your mouth.

"When was the last time?"

"My birthday. Every year I only ate once. This is the first time that is not my birthday and yet I am eating this on an ordinary day." You said while reminiscing about the memory.

Wonwoo just looks at you with a concerned and sympathetic look. "But don't worry, it feels like a tradition to me, that is why spaghetti feels so special to me." You paused and stopped talking about yourself and you glanced at Wonwoo and asked "Why are you wearing your uniform? It's weekend." You said blatantly.

Wonwoo was flabbergasted because you changed the topic immediately and started laughing.

"What?" You ask curiously what he's laughing at.

"Nothing. I wear it today cause I have a project film to make later, after we finish this lunch."

"Oh, did I bother you this time? You didn't say anything that you have some errands to do." You said with a concerned voice.

"It was totally nothing, don't mind about it." He said while adding to his head 'I planned this date just for the two of us. It was just an excuse and I intentionally wore it so that it wasn't obvious.'

Y/n was not satisfied with what Wonwoo said, instead she speeds up what she is eating and says to Wonwoo.

"C'mon. Let's film."

"Uh what?" Wonwoo was dumbfounded by your unexpected action and would not calculate this coming.

"You said that you were filming a project, right? Let's go and do that." You stand up and walk out in the cafe. You're waiting for Wonwoo to pay for the meals and ready to go.

Wonwoo finished paying for the meals and walked towards you.

"So, where are you going to film and what is it about?" You said curiously.

Wonwoo is quick witted when it comes to unexpected action and he immediately said "I am going to film in a park and I have a favor to ask."

"What is it?"

"Is it okay if you're the actor of my project? It's only a three minute film and it won't be long."

"What kind of film do you want to create though?"

"Good question. Since i am going to direct it. It will be better if we're going to park. I am planning something."

"Hmmm, okay?"

"Don't just okay me and follow me." He said while laughing at you cause you seem confused about what he is doing.

"So, did you treat me because you want me to be your object to your film?"

"Something like that."

Little did she know it wasn't like that, Wonwoo planned it just now and surprisingly he did it smoothly.

"We're here. What you're going to do is to sit in that swing and act as if you're lonely waiting for someone." He said immediately as you came to the park.

"Hey, I'm a little too embarrassed about it. There are some people here." You whispered to him.

Wonwoo was so calm that his ear turned red when you whispered to him. His heart was beating so loud that he wished you couldn't hear it. But he whispers also to you and said "Don't worry about it, just act normal and don't look at the camera. Imagine you're alone and waiting for someone."

You sigh and seem to not like the idea but you have no choice and you don't want to waste Wonwoo's precious time and just like that you follow his order.

He orders you around to do what you're supposed to do and just finishes immediately.

It's already eight o'clock in the evening when you finished the "project" that Wonwoo is filming.

"I'll give it to you once I finish this clip that we did." He said while looking at the video clip and he is pretty engrossed with it.

"I am not going to see that film. I'm so embarrassed until now." You said while still being so bashful of what happened to you. You did inhale and exhale exercise cause your anxiety got the best out of you and you were literally shaking.

Wonwoo seemed so worried as you did that "Are you going to be okay? Should we stop by the convenience store and buy something to eat?"

You stopped immediately for what Wonwoo is recommending. You think it is not a good idea to expose yourself in front of people. But you made an excuse and honestly told him what you were feeling for this moment.

"This is the first time I have participated in this kind of film and exposed myself. I never wanted to do this but I am doing this because it is your favor. I just need to calm myself first." You said while still doing the inhale and exhale exercise.

You did not see the expression just Wonwoo did as you said the word 'I am doing this because it is your favor.' he also needs to calm himself too and turn back at you and his ears are getting redder.

You suggested that it's best if you two call this a day. But Wonwoo doesn't want to end this day and still wants to spend his time with you.

"I do have a great time and this is all my first time. You're the only guy who initiated to treat me except my brother." You laughed about it and added "It was great, I did have fun, see you again, I guess?" As you were about to walk out. Wonwoo grabbed your wrist and you blink so dumbfoundedly.

He glanced at you for five seconds and said "I'll take you home." And you just said "okay." But Wonwoo is still not letting you go and you two are still looking at each other.

"Uhhh, shall we go?" You said awkwardly.

"Oh, uhh, let's go." He said while letting you go and scratch his hair awkwardly.

You're already at your dorm and thank Wonwoo and he said "it's a man's job to keep a woman safe. Bye." Waiving at you goodbye. As you turn around you just smile so giggly and can't help but run towards your apartment. As you open the door you see your brother waiting inside as if he's waiting not too long ago.

"Oppa, what are you doing here?"

13 Mother

Another day has passed by and it's already morning. You're so energetic to be falling asleep again because you slept like a log. You went outside to have some refreshing start in the morning by doing an exercise. You went for a jog and saw a lady opening her restaurant. It seems she needed a help for opening it early in the morning.

"Young madam! You needed some help?" You said while approaching her for help.

"It's okay, I'm still strong you know." She jokingly said.

"Like you said, I am strong too. Haha" you said and you both laugh and smile with each other.

"Okay young lady, do me a favor and help me."

"Yes. Ma'am!"

"What is the name of the beautiful young lady?" She said with a smile.

"It's y/n madam."

"Please call me mother."

"M-mother?" You said while stuttering.

As she said that with a smile on her face and then suddenly someone called her almost shouting with a smile on her face.

"Omoni! (Mom!)"

"W-wonwoo? He is your son?" You said as you stuttered and while looking at her smiling on his beloved son.

"Oh, my little baby you're y/n is helping me to open the shop." She said without any hesitation.

You said to yourself as if you're crashing and crushing someone to a human. That's right, you are having a crush to a human for the first time. Even though you're still acquainted, there is this feeling that everything is not coincidences and it is inevitable to turn or runaway because in every loop or in every dimension he still keeps coming back to you. You know it and you know this feeling, and somehow you just hope and wish that this is only a instinct and it has nothing to do with your past life connection. But the woman's instinct is so strong and you're willing to go with it, then suddenly you received a message.

12. Under Protection

It's been a week since your brother went to your place. While you on the other hand, has been busy all day loaded with school works and all. You're not that nerd at all, you simply want to pass with your every subject and graduate as soon as possible.

You needed a break for today. You have a vacant for about four hours and you said to yourself that you need your alone time and get some nap in a quiet place. You thought that in the garden would be a nicer place for taking a nap but you suddenly reminded of how you slapped Vernon in that place and you actually don't want to go back. Instead, you went to the library which is a nicer place to take a nap.

You went at the end on the side of the library and take a book, place it to your face and position yourself with your back.

You tell to yourself 'I have to wake up in two hours so I would have time to freshen myself up.' And you began to nap.

- I n  t h e  L i b r a r y -

Jeon Wonwoo always went in to the library of your school which is where Woozi and Vernon's school as well. You three are have a different program: Woozi is on Music and Arts department, Vernon is in the film direction department, while you are in the Psychology department.

Wonwoo is roaming at the library when he suddenly sees you sleeping in the side of the library where no one knows that there's a person who make the library as their bedroom. You went to y/n's direction slowly and bend your knee to see how she looks but her pretty face is cover by the open handbook. You took a photo of her while sleeping with the book on her face. You want to see her sleeping face so badly but unfortunately the book covering on her face makes it difficult for you to see it.

"Why are you so cute and funny at the same time?" he said while talking to himself and make a smirking smile on his face. 'What should I do with your brother? With all the people I knew, why him?' He said to himself. 'I won't make any move this time. Your brother seems to cherish you alot and I have to ponder if my feelings for you are genuine enough so I won't hurt the people that is close to my heart... and I don't want to hurt you just because my feelings is not genuine enough and still not reaching out to you yet. I'll come back when I'm ready... and I hope you are too.' He referred close to his heart is Seungcheol and of course you but still confused with his feelings.

Wonwoo wanted to touch you so badly  that he almost reach his hand to your strand of your hair and he immediately stop himself. All he can do is to only left you with a novel book beside you called 'The Miracles of the Namiya General Store by Keigo Higashino.'

'I don't know why hyung hides you from us. I am going to know why. Please wait for me and don't get any other man clings in to you.' As he stands up and walk out.

You wake up and see the time in your phone and you spent two hours of napping in the library. You stand up, stretch your body and ready to go out in the library when suddenly you saw a book on the floor and picked it up. It is a Japanese novel and you are curious what it is all about and check out the book.

As you went outside of the library you are confused and irritated because how does the book fell beside her while sleeping where in fact no one is around. You began to overthink things through again because you didn't hear the sound of the book fell. You thought as well that a ghost would not exist in the afternoon and won't scare the out of you. The only thing you could ever possibly think about is someone saw you sleeping at the library but didn't even budge to wake you up. You were embarrassed to know who is the person saw you in that kind of position.

You feel completely relaxed and refreshed and at the same time want to forget your concern of what happened to you in the library. You feel the urge not to go to your next subject but your mind says have to, for the sake of your grade. As you're going to up stairs, you saw Vernon and Wonwoo talking behind in the school's veranda.

They were talking about something but you just ignore them and went upstairs.

The class is finished. You went first in the bathroom to retouch yourself up and this girls start talking about guys.

"You saw the handsome guy, right? The one with Vernon? I guess good looking people are close with another good looking man." She said to her friend.

"I know right? I wish my boyfriend was that handsome." Her friend said while finishing her retouching.

"Too bad he's not a student here. Maybe next life I would wish to become his girlfriend. Hahaha"

They said while laughing and teasing each other and walk out.

'I think they were talking about Wonwoo. I know he is good looking but they should be ashamed that they were linking themselves to him.' You said to yourself as if you're feeling jealous to them. 'No, I am not jealous, I simply wish people would stop laying their hands with the people they don't know of. Is this really being jealous? Or am I making my nose keeps with their business when in fact it doesn't have to do with me?' You're beginning to reflect again and think things through.

You shake your head and said to yourself. "Come in to your senses y/n." And walk out.

You are outside of the school when the silhouette of a man starts to pull you in the side of the school gate where no one could see you two.

"Verno-"

"Shhh." He said while he pressed his forefinger to you.

You blush yourself out when he did that to you and cannot speak after he said to shut your mouth. He sighs and said

"You can speak now."

The words that want to come out cannot seem to operate with your mouth.

"I guess cat got your tongue?" He said clicking his tongue.

"No..."

"Good. Then you were trying to say?"

"Why did you pull me here?" You said while raising your eyebrow.

"Well, I wanted to know something."

"What do you want to know? Oh my, you don't have-"

"Nope. Not me, just wanted to know why your brother kept you for a long time with us." He said while cutting you off to say something controversial.

"Oh. I actually don't know too. I ask him why as well and seem to keep his white lies to me. Actually, why don't you talk about that to him and not to me?" You said as if explaining yourself as to why would Vernon even bother to know about that.

"Ahh, from today on, we're going home together." He said while changing the topic.

"Huh? Why would I do that?" You retorted.

"Because we're school mate? Don't worry let's be like a secret friends." He winks at you.

"I'd rather go with Jihoon." You snap him back.

"C'mon, there's no a big deal of it."

'It is to me' you said to yourself.

"Anyways, I am going home. And I'll think about it." You said thoughtfully.

"Whatever." And walk out.

Wonwoo fetch up Vernon to his school because he has a favor to ask for in regards to y/n. He wanted to know what is your past and what's behind those patronage that your brother did.

As you walk out on Vernon, he called Wonwoo through the phone.

"Hyung, she didn't know why her brother kept her from us."

"I see..."

"I told you, you should talk about it to hyung (referring to Seungcheol)."

"No, just keep her company and do what I say. But with discretion."

"Ugh. Okay."

He hungs up and went home.

11. Revelation

It's morning already and you have today's rest. You wash your face and drink a hot green tea. After that, you place the yoga mat and start meditating. It relaxes your muscles and emptying your mind of what happened yesterday and still finding a way out to not care about everything and anything. You have been an over thinker in your whole life. Back when you were in highschool, your brother let you go to a therapist because of the trauma you had. You were bullied by a bunch of woman who had a gang. The girl who bullied you has a crush on your brother and she thought that you was his gf because your brother always fetched you up after school. The jealousy of the girl who bullied you painted on her face that even her make up looked hideous on her face. You told to your brother everything of what is happening to you during your highschool days that is why you told him a favor to not tell to your parents about what happened and always act normal if they asked something about her school.

The therapy caused money to your brother and he did not hesitate to spend it on you. For your own sake and for your mental sake. You loved your brother more than anything else because he becomes your shield that protects you to anyone and treat you better. The effects of the trauma you had made you an introvert and you only let someone who is important to you get closer to you as much as possible. Your trust issues with your friends affects you either because at the time when a girl who bullied you during your highschool days did not defend you and they let them beat you up in the corner as if they don't even know you and avoided you.

You let yourself cry out in the middle of the night without your brother or even your parents from noticing it. You tell to yourself that you will became a burden if you told of what happened. Your brother just know the trauma you had when you're entering your first year college. He saw your bruises in your arms that you have been hiding forever. He saw it when you're changing your clothes and you forgot to lock your room cause you know that your brother is not in your home at the moment that time.

"Yah! What's that? Have you been fighting with anyone?" You brother said shouting at you.

"Shhh! Mother will hear you." You said with a lower tone.

"What happened?"

"I will tell you after i finish my entrance exam."

It's already four o'clock in the afternoon and you didn't know that the time has passed already since you last reminisce of what happened to you. You remember that your brother announce himself to you that he is going to your dorm and you prepare yourself and clean your apartment.

"Princess! I'm here!~" he said in a welcoming voice as if he's not seen me for long.

"Oh? You're here? What did you bring?" You said in a sarcastic tone.

"I bring myself. Hug me." Stretching his arm wide open.

"Excuse me? Please go back to your dorm if you're going to be this cheeky. Why did you bother coming here anyway?" Rolling your eyes and watch him go to your kitchen.

"I'm here to see my princess if she's eating enough. You look so skinny and I feel like you're barely eating." He said looking at you with a poker face.

"Anyways, I have been meaning to say... Why you didn't tell them that you have a sister?" You said while changing the topic.

"I have?" He said with an intention of not saying anything.

"Oppa, I thought we're not going to hide any secrets with the two of us? Then, what you're doing right now is literally breaking out your promise."

Your brother contemplating whether he's going to say it or not. Instead of saying the truth, he slips a little white lies and said.

"I just don't want you to meet them up especially Dino."

"Dino? He's my childhood friend so why try to hide it from me? And even though you hide it from me why doesn't even said a thing about me to you?" Questioning every detail you want to know.

"You overthink things y/n. I thought we have an agreement not to overthink things because your therapist told you a long time ago that overthinking can kills the mind of a person." He said while batting an eye on you.

You inhale then exhale for thirty second and said. "I'm sorry. I have been too curious so I won't say anything anymore." And silently look away to him and surf on your phone.

Your brother ready the food and said that he will go now because he have some errands to do with his other members and messed up your hair.

"Yah!"

"Bye!~ Don't forget to eat that up! I'm going." He said and go out.

Your brother goes out and bid a farewell to you. As he walk outside and try to calm his mind down. He can't let you know why he's doing what he did. Because he wanted to protect you to the people who may cause a harm to you. If you know the members and if the members know you exist as well, the fans will get mad and might target you by cyberbullying and also leads to physical bullying. Your brother don't want to repeat the past history and want to make it right this time. He told Dino that he should be quiet about you and told lies that he had no sister just to protect you, by not saying anything.

Both of you left at the café and you don't know where to go.

"What's up with Seungcheol hyung?" Dino said while pouting.

"No, he's been kinda pent up lately and we don't know why, he also talk to them about who is the girl that they have been mentioning except Woozi hyung. And the fact that the two of them mentioning you means something is up." Dino proclaim.

You have been pondering what's up with your brother and the fact that it's been bothering him it makes much sense why he let you go out with Dino.

"It's not that big of a deal, right?" You said.

"I don't know, Seungcheol hyung is really strict when it comes to us but I do think he's very protective of you because you are his sister after all."

"Have you heard them mentioning me? I mean Wonwoo and Vernon?" You said shyly but curious of wanting to know.

"Me either. It was a simple coincidence that we bumped into each other. And slapped me. Haha!" Vernon said with a click on his tongue.

"Hey! You touched him without permission!"

"That's what I said to him as well." Wonwoo interrupted.

"I didn't know that Vernon and Wonwoo would be this talkative when they like someone. Congrats! Cause I will be your brother in law and you behave well." Seungcheol proclaiming that their feelings with y/n is showing right from the start.

"Woah, count me out! We both don't feel the same way. She just slapped me." Vernon rebut.

"Oh, but you will instantly. You're just saying that now but I bet you like a girl who you can argue with." Woozi said with a mischievous smile on his face.

"What about you Wonwoo? I bet you don't have as well?" Seungcheol said. But as he said that to Wonwoo, he remained silent and it feels like contemplating about his life and his decision.

"Wonwoo? Wonwoo? Wonwoo?" A Seungcheol calls his name as he snap back into the reality.

"What is it hyung?" Wonwoo said back with a question mark on his face.

"For Pete's sake, Wonwoo." Seungcheol growl.

"I bet you heard it but you won't answer his question." As Woozi saying that to himself. Wonwoo clearly heard what Woozi said and that's true because he still doesn't know what is his feeling towards to y/n.

"This is the last time that I would say this. If you don't have any interest with my sister. Better treat her right as one of my half brothers. She is the only one I got and if any one of you hurt her feelings. You better run cause I will quit this group if ever you lay a hands on her. Got it?" Seungcheol threatened them. (Maybe only Vernon and Wonwoo).

"I enjoyed our trip together spontaneously." You said while cheerfully going back to with Dino walking you at your dorm.

"Can I, perhaps get your number so I could in touch with?" He said.

"Yeah. You can!" You wrote your number into a piece of paper and gave it to him.

"Thanks for today. See you when I see you!" You waved a goodbye to Dino.

"Yeah! Don't worry about it! Will text you later!" He shouted back to you because the distance is too far from you now.

You are glad that your brother let you and Dino go outside and have some fun so that you can freshen up yourself and not to be too stressed out and worried you out on the things that is not to be worried about. But for some reason, you can't stop thinking about on what Wonwoo did. He did mentioned you to the other members without knowing that your brother is Seungcheol oppa. And why did your brother never mentioned you to the members he's in? What is he hiding from them? Is he still hiding a secret from you too?

Title: A flower we saw that day

9. Lee Chan

You are confused of what is happening right now and at the same time you are filled with joy since for the first time again you see Lee Chan.

"Chanie!~" you shouted as if no one is around in that cafeteria and walk passed through and embraced him.

He patted your back then hug you.

"It's been so long y/n. How have you been?" He said cheerfully.

"Did my brother not say any word to you? I just knew till recently that you're forming a group!-"

"Ehem!" Your brother interrupted your conversations together and you felt embarrassed because it seems like the spotlight is between you and Chan. The people around you seemed intrigued of what is happening.

"Sorry, just caught in a moment."

"Sit here beside me and we have to talk about a lot of things for today." He said as if curious about something that I should or shouldn't know.

The sitting arrangement was like this:

•Seungcheol•y/n•Chan and the other side of the table of the seat was:

•Woozi•Wonwoo•Vernon

You saw the look on Wonwoo's face. He seems confused and irritated at the same time but you don't want to interrogate him for a moment. (See figure 1)

Your brother is so suspicious right now cause as you have observed all of them, one by one your brother is the only one who is observing his members as if there's an intention to cause a ruckus and say something bluntly words anytime soon.

Vernon is the same as you are. He is also observing the surroundings and suddenly, you two made an eye contact and you are startled because you thought that you were the only one who is having a tense up feeling and you need to say something. (See figure 1.2)

"So? What are we basically doing here brother?" As he interrupted so that the tension goes down and not to feel awkward. Your brother, Seungcheol said "Who wants to eat? It's my treat."

"Mine's matcha milktea."

"You're only drinking?"

"Yeah, don't have the appetite to eat, right now."

"Okay, one matcha milktea. What about you guys?"

"I'll just have the waffle with honey syrup." Jihoon said.

"I'll have the café lattè." Wonwoo said.

"I'll have what y/n have" Vernon said.

As Vernon said that, the eyes of y/n's brother made an eye contact and Vernon just smiled at him. (See figure 1.3 and 1.4)

"Okay, there's two matcha milktea." Seungcheol said.

"I'll have a matcha as well!" Lee Chan said.

'Nice going Lee Chan!' You said to yourself as you cheered up because you don't want to have a level of awkwardness to Vernon having the same order as you are.

"Okay, there's three matcha."

"What about you, brother? What you want to eat?"

"I want a croissant with a chocolate syrup in it. So, who wants to go to the counter?"

"I'll go." You and Wonwoo said synchronically.

Your brother seemed bother by Vernon and Wonwoo since you saw a few times already that he was raising his eyebrow and batting his eyelids with an annoyance.

"Okay... You two go." He said with an exasperation.

"Geez, what's that for?" You said with bitterness with your tone.

"Ahh just go!" He said still annoyed. (See figure 1.5)

You and Wonwoo go to the counter as if nothing happened.

"Geez, what's with him recently." As you were talking to yourself.

You two reach in the counter.

"Good day, what's your order Sir. and Ma'am?"

"Three matcha milktea, one café lattè, one waffle with honey syrup, and one croissant with chocolate syrup please." You said.

"Okay, the total is seven hundred and forty pesos." The cashier said and you gave the one thousand pesos.

"Your changed will be two hundred and sixty pesos. Please wait your order for fifteen minutes."

'Fifteen minutes? It's like the silence is so demeaning here since we're the only two here.' You said into your head.

The only thing you can reply is "Okay."

While waiting, Jeon Wonwoo suddenly open his mouth.

"How did you know Chan?"

"Oh, Chanie?"

"Yeah, it seems like the two of you are really close."

"Yup, since we were kids. We've known each other very well. But one day, he had to move in another town and I was left behind." You said reminiscing the day you were together.

Wonwoo just looked at you as if he wanted to know more about you and Chan but that's it and nothing more and nothing less.

"Why did you ask that?" You said with curiosity.

"Nothing. Just curious." He said bluntly.

"I was curious as well why wpuld you want to know."

"The hug... becuase you hug him." He said in a faint sound and you can't hear what he said and-

"Thank you for your waiting, here's your order!"

As you about to get the order, you two accidentally touch the back of your hands' skin and suddenly get the electric shock.

"Ouch!" You said but Wonwoo did not react to it.

One thing for sure that y/n did not noticed is how Wonwoo's ear is so red.

"Let's go." He said carrying most of the orders while you only have two in your hands. Both matcha milktea for you and (of course not to Vernon) to Chan.

"We took too long because we had to wait for fifteen minutes." You said while handing the other milktea to Chan.

"Thanks." Beaming you with a smile. (See figure 1.6)

There's nothing better than a smile of this childhood friend of yours. He always shine just like how you two used to be together when you were as a kid, and the only thing you could say was "hmm!" With a nod and a smile on your face.

Then the real nightmare began as all of you have the orders that you get in your hands. Your brother start talking.

"So, I gather you all here because you have met my pri-"

"Ehem!" You interrupted him as he was going to say your princess. You two promised each other that is not allowed to people hear it because you were embarrassed if he say it with a crowd of people.

"My sister. And have some personal questions with all of you. One. By. One" he said with the seriousness on his face. (See figure 1.7)

"But this is the first time that I have met Chan." You said.

"Except Chan, of course. You two get out of here and go somewhere else." Your brother said as if you're not allowed to know what is he going to say.

Your brother motion you to go with Chan outside because there are some serious issues is going to happen.

As the gut tell you to get out and said "C'mon Chanie, I think we're not invited here after all."

Chan got and left with you.

8. The unexpected meet up

"Then... the one who slapped Vernon is you?" He said while pointing at you.

"He told you that?" You said startling.

"Not just me, he told it to other 12 members in our group."

"No. Freaking. Way." you just can't believe that Vernon is not that secretive as you may think. You still not get over from what you have just heard and your brother continues to talk.

"And the girl who talked to Wonwoo in the café was also you? I thought he met other y/n so I didn't react to what he was sharing. So it was you, huh?" your brother said and contemplating of what happened and why you are stressed out. Your brother knows you like almost everything and you know that to yourself too.

"He also said it to all the members of yours?"

"No, he only just told it to me. He talked about you like he is so interested in every little things you do." your brother seems to be bother by all this thing because he wouldn't expect that Jeon Wonwoo might be hitting on you. Of course! He is also a guy, he knows how guys fall for. In seven billions of people you just bumped to the group of people who his forming a boy group member with.

"What about Jihoon? He didn't tell you about me isn't he?" you said curiously.

"Nope, Woozi is not that kind of man who talked about everything. He always keep things to himself and I am worried that he is the most secretive member in our group and carrying all his burden alone because he is the one who composing music and also writing the lyrics. It feels so heavy that you have that kind of responsibility right? I mean, you will get anxious and you feel you're not good enough."

You just pondered what your brother said and you can feel those beneath the surface of Jihoon you can not tell that he is that reliable when it comes to production of music and you know that your brother too is also have a big responsibility. But you recall why all of them seems to call Jihoon - Woozi.

"Woozi? Why do all of you always called him Woozi?"

"It's his nickname or stage name when we debut."

"But I thought it's vobo?"

"Yep, but we prefer to call him Woozi."

("Should I also call him Woozi too? But it feels like I'm just making myself feeling close to him.") you think to yourself.

"Ah, I forgot to tell you that Lee Chan is also part in our group and we called ourselves SEVENTEEN." he said proudly.

"What?! Lee Chan too?" you can't believe that your childhood friend is also a part of their group called SEVENTEEN. You're curious why they even called themselves SEVENTEEN.

"Then why SEVENTEEN? How many you were in the group? Seventeen also?"

"Nope, we're only just thirteen."

"Thirteen? That's many! Then why SEVENTEEN?"

"We called it SEVENTEEN because we have thirteen members. three units which there will be Vocal Unit, Hip Hop Unit and Performance Unit and we united as one. If you add that all up we we called ourselves SEVENTEEN." He explained.

"That's unique bro. Can't wait to see you and Chan to get on the spotlight."

"Thanks, sis. I should've told you sooner and shouldn't kept this a secret to you. I am sorry." he sincerely apologize to you and you know to yourself that you just can't hate your brother all along. After all, he kept this burden just by himself.

"It's okay. I am sorry too. You know, it just frustrates me and all but now I understand that you did it for a reason and for a purpose." you said compassionately.

"So, let's get going. You have a class to attend to." your brother, Seungcheol said.

You two went inside of the car and Seungcheol drove you off to your University and as your brother drop you off to your University.

"I'll call you later okay, princess?"

"Yep, call me."

"I love you, princess."

"Love you too, brother." you said to him happily.

You feel that the heavy burden that you've been carrying is now getting lighter because you and your brother made a promise that you wouldn't keep any secrets anymore. After all, the two of you got each others back. As you get out of the car, your brother as well get outside in the car and hug you.

"Brother Seungcheol, what are you doing?" you said while raising an eyebrow and you sense that something bad is going to happen.

"Oh, nothing. Just giving you a goodbye hug." He said smiling and it looks like he is up to something.

He drove off and you went to your class. As you went into your class, your blockmates were looking at you from head to toe as if they were scanning you.

"Is that your boyfriend?" the gossiper and the feeling popular girl in our block said.

"Uh, what?" you said and bewildered of what she just said. You comprehend of what she is talking about and it was at the time when your brother hugged you infront of the campus and duh so many people out there and who wouldn't leaked a gossip everywhere right? Who would not noticed that the clingy brother of yours is going to hug you this early in the morning with a bunch of people?

"It was just some guy I knew." you said. You were cautious to get leaked out that he is your brother because no one knows you had a handsome brother and you just keeping it to yourself. You want a low profile and not to attract any attention to other people as much as possible. Additionally, you don't want to feel the trauma you had way back then, because who would believe that this handsome man is your brother?

As you said it to her, you feel that she is not satisfied to what you have just said so you just walk passed at her and sit near at the window.

The class has ended late and somehow you wanted to go to your dorm immediately not until Vernon blocked your way, again.

"You again? What do you want?" you said annoyingly and you thought why he is still on the campus as if he was waiting for someone at this late night. You know for sure that no one is in the campus except the professors and some of your blockmates.

"Your brother told me that I should picked you up. I didn't know your brother is the eldest in our group. C'mon he said that we should go to the cafe that you like and meet him there." He said to you and walk out while carrying his backpack.

("No freaking way! What is my brother up to? And he didn't even mention to them that I am his sister, right? That she HAVE a sister. Ohh, I am so mad right now!") you said to yourself and just followed Vernon. You were glad that he keeps his boundary so well for today. He acts so gentlemanly than ever. ("I wish he always this gentle and stop to annoy me.")

You didn't bother to talk to on each other and you couldn't feel the awkwardness. It's just feel so peaceful and you think to yourself that you just liked him that way, being the quiet one. You know now that Vernon knows how to behave in front of you. You tell to yourself that there's more beneath in the surface that he can show with his true character and you think you find it intriguing.

As you two enter the cafe you saw Wonwoo, Woozi, your brother and Chan.

("What the hell is going on?")
