#go back and tell 17 year old me #he was so nice and sweet and pretty and he talked to me and my mom and i’m trying to be so normal #he was wearing a replacements shirt and that was for me specifically #god i talked my mom into seeing swept away again and he was there in the lobby when i went to go get a shirt after the show and #i was freaking out so bad i was bright red and talking a mile a minute but he was so sweet #i cannot stress how much this means to me he’s my favorite performer of all time this is like me meeting the beatles or something #like that’s how it felt #i cried on the walk to the train i was so so so excited #i got to meet him and wayne duvall who played the captain and he was equally as kind #anyway swept away go to broadway challenge i need everyone to see it it’s so good #i don’t know what to do with myself

i hate how predictable i am i work events and we had a band in tonight and the guitarist was wearing leather and had long hair and naturally i’m in love with him now

it's been years and it's still genuinely crazy to me that the first two seasons of stranger things had this throughline where all the bad things that were happening in hawkins were directly caused by the us government and that they were excusing the awful things they were doing to their own citizens (children!) through cold war/red scare reactionism. and then in season three there was a secret russian base under the town mall.
