For anyone in SoCal or the Southwest, excessive heat warnings have been issued for Phoenix, LA, Las Vegas and record temperatures have already been recorded. Stay safe this week and make sure you’re aware of the signs of heat stroke and heat exhaustion!

idk what shit-eating truscum needs to hear this, but your rhetoric directly harms people with culturally-specific genders. i’m native and two-spirit, that label describes my gender and my attraction. i use they/them pronouns and your “nonbinaries and cringey stargender trenders aren’t valid” bullshit is getting old. our languages were demonized and erased, our gender and attraction labels along with them. my experiences with dysphoria exist because of colonialist ideas of gender. we have been forced into arbitrary ‘male’ and ‘female’ categories by colonizers for centuries and truscum rhetoric perpetuates racist colonialist violence against natives.
your experiences are not universal, you’re not forwarding justice for trans people, and you’re definitely not an ally to natives or other people of color. you’re just a fucking colonizer.

Happy Juneteenth!
It is just barely the 19th for me but I since I'm still up I figured I'd start this post now. Today I'm planning on sharing educational and support links for anyone who has been wanting to support the black community.
The first link for today is the PB-Resources which I highly recommend you guys look at it.
It has educational resources separated by media (including a page for Juneteenth), petition and donation links, black-owned businesses to support, as well as scripts for US citizens to use to stop voter suppression bills from being enacted.
The second link will just be the BLM page I have on my blog for those who haven't visited it yet.
This third link is purely an educational resource with to a page with the history of Juneteenth as well as stories and additional links.
The fourth link is a link to a news article listing 200 black-owned business.
Number five and six will be lists of petitions. One just an article and another is the directory for BLM on change.org. For those who use change.org, know that any money donated after signing goes to the website organization and not the petition owners.
If you guys have any links that you think need to come on this post don't hesitate to message me!

Unfriendly reminder that if you are socially privileged in any way and claim to be an ally, then your ally-ship does not lie in taking the front and center space and talking about issues that you do not have experience with. All that does it drown out the voices of those who are oppressed.
Your job as an ally is to make space for minorities to take the lead and do what you can to amplify their voices. You do not have to be in the spotlight at all times. Take your ego to the sidelines and understand that it is not about you.
If your ally-ship is in periodically advertising the fact that you're an ally, you're not really an ally.

Happy pride month to those who are scared
Happy pride month to those who are proud
Happy pride month to those who are out
Happy pride month to those who are closeted
Happy pride month if you’re trying to figure yourself out
Happy pride month if you’ve known for years
Happy pride month to those who it’s their first
Happy pride month to those who have celebrated for years
Happy pride month to those who are afraid to celebrate
Happy pride month to those who will scream it from the rooftops
Happy pride month to you.

Black folk.....Some of y’all still have white folk and non-black people on your timeline who specifically comment to cause disruption. I just read two different statuses where a white person commented, simply trying to be a contrarian. I give you permission to block, band, and cut these people out of your life. In case y’all needed permission.
This is life or death.
White privilege is life or death. And it’s literally something that we as Black people do not have.
Don’t let them destroy your peace.
Do not let them bring in false equivalencies.
Do not let them make you feel that you are overreacting or being too emotional.
Whether it’s your coworker, high school classmate, neighbor
Click that block button.

this isn’t joe biden’s win. this is the victory of black organizers who ran grassroots campaigns on the ground. this is the victory of the young people who used social media to get out the vote. this is the victory of the women, POC, hispanic americans, muslim americans, LGBTQ+ americans, and angry americans who have been fighting for breath for centuries. the fight isn’t over, but it’s ours to win.

If you really care about preventing government tyranny, your #1 priority must be making sure criminals have rights.
And that's not a joke or an exaggeration.
If criminals don't have rights, then all the government has to do is find some excuse to label people as criminals, and those people will no longer have rights. It's what literally every tyrannical government in all of history has done.
If you believe that people who break the law should forfeit their rights, you're literally as pro-tyranny as a person can get.
