The mustang symbolizes raw american muscle

The RB26 goes inside the mustang. American exterior with a Japanese inside. The car symbolizes Sean and his struggles and how he is lost and empty, just like  the mustang shell, there is nothing inside until her meets Han.

Someone who took him in and help Sean find himself, gave him heart and the RB26 is Han’s heart being passed over to Sean.
