anyways the podcast is ending soon and i’m not ready. what will the fandom do when it’s over???? 😟😟 also when glenn said he wanted to kill his dad, it caught me completely off-guard
but once i actually thought about it was like “oh shit yeah wait a second” because bill literally took part in the trial that lost glenn his youth, his son, and every speck of fatherhood he had originally. so i’d wanna kill him too if i was him ⁉️ bill close is gonna have a rude awakening when glenn shows up as like a 60 year old dude
the more you think about him the sadder Glenn’s character is
like this dude started off as a funny, charismatic, young rockstar, and is now a relatively older, lonely DJ. like what
he lost his wife, learned she could be brought back, had to go against her revival, then she was brought back but as someone else’s wife.
he lost his son, found him, had him dissipate into fog, got him back, and then had him turned into a completely different person. who, when he returned, decided glen wasn’t a good father to begin with.
and now, he’s completely alone with no reason to return to earth, and no reason to stay in the forgotten realms.
like this dude has it so rough, to the point where he believes he’s perfectly fine. he’s searching for the smallest smidge of purpose in anyone/anything
god all of the kids on this podcast are so individually sad to think about
like lark hates his dad now because he wasn’t able to stop walter from being brutally injured
sparrow loves both his dad and lark and can’t pick between the two, and was also described as really sad??
terry jr. ‘likes’ ron but can’t love him because they really haven’t had time to bond, despite what everyone thinks. they had like one good episode and then the rest was just the occasional “hi dad”
and grant is just dealing with all the shit he’s been put through
glenn is projecting the loss of his son onto a rat he found in prison?? literally nobody in this podcast is mentally healthy there needs to be a fantasy-therapist
