I had a dream about work the other night. I work at a grocery store, stocking the shelves overnight. Anyway, I can’t remember all of the dream, but I do remember that somehow a coworker and I unknowingly or accidentally killed someone? Like, a kid or something. During work. (Context: I had watched a Critical Role YouTube clip where Nott kills the baby manticore) And no one knew, so we kept working.

We’d give each other looks of fear when anyone would come near us, as if they’d Know and were gonna ask us about it. But eventually we knew that they knew we did it, but they weren’t arresting us or anything. They were waiting until our shift was over. Like, it was a rule. That they had to wait. Then my shift lead said I could leave early and I was like THANK FUCK I gotta get outta here before they get me. And people kept cutting in front of me to clock out and I was just like, “ can— can I just—“. And finally I did and my other coworker had clocked out before me and we gave each other a look and tried to leave calmly without sprinting out before they could get us.

So basically we accidentally committed murder and then got away with it because they weren’t allowed to arrest us until our shift was over, but we got to leave before it was over, so???

I had a dream last night about sushi. I made an order to a shop that I was going to go pick it up from. When I got there it was in bags and ready to go, but it was on the ground in some grass about 2 shops down. I guess I had also ordered expensive parts for my car or something too? And they were next to the sushi.

I still had to pay, and I didn’t want to leave any of it (afraid someone would steal it), so I was trying to think of the best way to pick them all up and put them in my car. Some random old guy drives over and says he can help! I can put the sushi in his car and he’ll drive me over to the shop! I was thinking uhhh no thank you creepy guy. I told him “No thank you, I’ve got it”. He kept insisting but I kept telling him I was fine. I then proceeded to ignore him. But wait, there’s MORE

When I picked up the first box of sushi it fell and spilled all over the ground :’( I went to pick it all up and put it back and I tried to place them how they had been (because they had been arranged all fancy like). I think it was important to me to place them back nicely because the sushi was for a dinner date with my girlfriend. And suddenly my perspective changed, and did a whole zooming out thing and then zoomed in on two women in a fancy looking plush room in the shop. Now I was watching these two women from the sushi shop who were watching me through cameras.

They watched me place the sushi and they were criticizing how I did it haha. Occasionally it would go back to my perspective for a moment as I tried to decide where to place the sushi. They were wearing fancy clothes and sipping on tea like some high society types. They said things like “ugh that one doesn’t go there” and “what does she think she’s doing?” And just...a lot of scoffing. I don’t think they would hire me.

I recently dreamed that my asshole ex was at my house hanging out with my family. He was waiting for me to come home so he could ask for me back. HAH. I was so irritated that they let him in (everyone who knows me in awake life hates him too), I basically ignored him when I got there. He followed me into the kitchen and asked if we could date again.  Now, usually in my dreams, I can’t express how I really feel, or say what I would actually say. Like when you need to scream and nothing comes out. Anyway, this time, THIS TIME I’m so proud of my dream self.  I said, “I have a girlfriend. And even if I didn’t, I would never date you, or any man, ever again.”  I woke up and was like DAMNNN, FUCK YES WE DID THAT

It doesn’t sound like a big burn when I reread it, but fuck it felt so great

My girlfriend is coming over today and I dreamed that she called me and said, "My grandma bought 200 chicken nuggets from McDonalds for my mom and I, so I'll be over after we eat them okay?"

Then I woke up to her actually calling me in awake life and I was so confused for a moment haha

So many nuggets. I don't blame her though ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
