In three months from now, I will not be regretting the choices I make today. In three months, I will be proud of where my body is, and I will be more comfortable in my skin.
I’m claiming this today

A lot of problems arent problems. People complain about youtube ads getting worse and worse when you could just use Brave as your browser if you dont know how to use extensions for some reason or just use newpipe on your phone. Literally would take about a minute to download either thing. What’s the issue? That you are choosing to live like this?

I really believe there's some sort of "emperor's new clothes" phenomenon happening with Gen Z discoursers where they're too afraid to question the logic of some of the discourse being thrown at them for fear of appearing to be unwoke so they just blindly parrot it not to be excluded by their peers

« The idea of an American pessimism is an oxymoron. In a culture that thrives on entrepreneurialism, pharmacology, and self-help, “pessimism” is simply a fancy name for a bad mood. In a culture that prizes the can-do, self-starter attitude, to be a pessimist is simply to be a complainer—if you’re not part of the solution, then you’re part of the problem. To live in such a culture is to constantly live in the shadow of an obligatory optimism, a novel type of coercion that is pathologized early on in child education in the assessment: ‘Does not like to play with others’. »
