The silent hug from Joseph is welcomed by the old man with literal open arms. Speedwagon hugs the younger and much taller male back, giving him a wholehearted hug that rivals Joseph's in warmth too. It's mindblowing how tall his dear Joseph has gotten over the last few years! Despite not being much like his grandfather in regards to overall personality, Joseph definitely has Jonathan's genes and it shows. It's not that Robert hadn't noticed how tall Joseph had grown, because he did, it's just that it always becomes a lot more evident when they share a moment like this.

"That was really sweet, Jojo." Robert says with a smile that reflects that fondness he has for the youngest Joestar. One of his hands goes to pat the top of Joseph's head, ruffling the young man's hair just a little, fondly, like he always would when Jojo was little and the two spent hours playing together or reading comics and stories about fantastic heroes,and so on.

The eagerness with which her reassurance had come made Jonathan feel a lot more at ease. It felt and seemed genuine, enough to make some of his worries go away, and which inevitably reflected on the young man's face as he smiled down at the other. A smile that turned even a tad brighter as she went on, giving him a rather friendly welcome to the city, something Jojo deeply appreciated.

"Thank you." He began, offering a soft bow of his head to show his gratitude; his full attention was on what the young lady was explaining.

"Well, I'm in town for an archaeology conference. Not as the speaker, but as a listener!" He was quick to clarify, probably as a way to avoid misunderstandings of any sorts. "I've always been interested in history and ancient cultures from around the world. Not so ancient ones too! However, I wouldn't want to limit my visit to only those topics. Not when I've heard and read so many nice things about this country." The gentleman admitted; the amicable smile never fading from his face.

"Landscapes. Art. All is good. I would like to see as many things as I can while I'm here." He added, aware that he probably sounded too much like a cliché of the average tourist despite all that being still connected to the culture of this country and it's people in a way, all he was missing was a big camera in his hand instead of his paper coffee cup.

"Quite cookie-cutter of me, I guess, isn't it?" Jonathan then joked a bit, trying to make a little light of what he'd just said.

Whatever divine force was making this interaction possible, Mitsuba was surely going to praise them. Who was this godsent? She wanted to know more about him.

"No no! Not at all! I'm just sitting around with coffee just like anybody else." She said rather eagerly.

She listened to his explanation, the handsome stranger wasn't even a Japan native! This felt like the pilot episode to a romantic drama she watches. Or the plot to a romantic drama movie even.

"Well, let me first say welcome to Tokyo." She began with a smile. "You're in the heart of Tokyo, Chiyoda. There's plenty to see and do." She explained. "I suppose it really depends on what you're interested in. What are your interests?" She asked him.

"Noted." The blond then confirmed his intentions of paying this little favor back, sealing those words with a hint of a smile as he worked on getting rid of the bloodstains from his knuckles (an amicable smile nonetheless). He had always been keen to repaying favors, selfless ones specially, and this was not going to be an exception.

As the conversation moved forward, Speedwagon couldn't help that smile from growing a bit wider upon Rossiel's mention of who he assumed would be one of her friends or, at the very least, her travelling companion.

"There ain't never a dull day in this place." He added with a bit of a chuckle. After all his years living (surviving, more like it) in Ogre Street, even way before he had claimed the title of Boss for himself through a lot of work and efforts, he had learned to see the "humorous" part of it all, if it could even be called that. Brawls and fights (almost always involving some kind of deadly weapon) were what you could call "the norm" here. Muggings, crimes, assaults, drunken fights in some seedy pub, the permanent risk of getting jumped by some rival gang who felt particularly lucky that day, and so on and so forth. There was always something going on in every nook and cranny there, as unassuming as Ogre Street could look like at first glance to most. The now dirty and beyond ruined handkerchief was discarded and put away into the depths of one of the pockets of Speedwagon's frock-coat so he could dispose of that evidence later, in a safer spot.

"Not sure where you and your pals may be headin' to but, tell ya what. I can guide you 'round for a bit and outta this place if that's good? It's the least I can do after the... ah... nasty display from just a moment ago." Needless to say that, on top of it being plagued with dangerous people (and even animals), this whole place was maze-like, making it easy for those unfamiliar with it to get lost quite easily.

"I have a spare or two in my pack, but I'd appreciate it nevertheless. I can almost hear my mother tut-tutting at me from the Undying Lands with how often I lose them." She chuckled softly at the thought, even as it stung her heart to recall that the blessed realm-- and everyone who now dwelt there-- was literal worlds and worlds away.

The furrow in her brow only grew deeper as she took in this information. "Hm. No, I suppose you'd notice if there were as many of the housepet-sort as we are meant to be visiting. I shall have to tell Sora that we are very lost indeed, though I wouldn't want to take bets on whether he'll be disappointed that this isn't the tame adventure he'd hoped to take me on, or glad that it won't be dull!"

Jonathan wares crocs beacuse they're comfortable! He's so nice no one has the heart to tell him how ugly crocs are. Also he really doesn't keep up with most current fashion trends outside of stuff a true gentleman would ware. :^V
